i'd say you'll enjoy this spot if you know what you're in for…read more the photos we saw on the website left us thinking we'd be in a large, almost warehouse-type set up. our eyes must be off though, because this spot is relatively small. nevertheless, i was able to find two items i was pleased with on pricing and quality. there are premium modern brands along with true vintage pieces. the owner was in and was super pleasant and kind. no complaints about customer service from us. i'd say the pricing was fair for what they have and in our current economy. i spent $9 on a pair of lace stirrup pants and $14 on a cropped acid washed black denim jacket. the pants were fashion nova so i would have not minded them being marked a bit lower, but the jacket was 7 for all mankind and i felt the price was great for that. overall? decent little spot. we drove in specifically for this shop, which i'd say is unnecessary, unless you're a die hard thrifting addict, given it's size. BUT - if you're in the area and enjoy thrifting, absolutely stop in and check them out!

I stopped by Octavia Boutique today, and I was so impressed that I felt compelled to write a few…read morelines about it. The store is fairly large and sits in the Village of Cross Keys in Baltimore, an upscale open‑air shopping destination near the golf course. I've been a customer there for quite some time, but lately it feels as though they've shifted gears -- in the best possible way. What stands out most is the balance in their selection. They offer an appealing mix of evening wear, casual everyday pieces, and beautifully tailored clothing in rich, flattering colors. The pants are consistently good, the jackets are glorious, and the sweaters are the kind you want to touch. Everything is thoughtfully curated and priced sensibly, which is dangerous for me because I can always find something I won't be able to resist. Their jewelry selection has also taken a noticeable leap forward. They still carry small, affordable, easy pieces, but they've also added more distinctive designer items lately -- bold colors, contemporary shapes, and intriguing materials. I spotted exquisite Lucite pieces, leather designs in unexpected hues, and some very fashion‑forward clip earrings from Paris that are both chic and unbelievably comfortable. Visiting Octavia Boutique always feels like stepping into a space where style is taken seriously without ever feeling intimidating. What makes it truly exceptional, though, is how rare it is to find a fashion boutique that excels equally in clothing and jewelry. Their recent evolution has only sharpened that distinction. The apparel is beautifully curated, but the jewelry collection is nothing short of breathtaking -- a level of creativity and quality you almost never see under the same roof. If you enjoy thoughtful fashion, distinctive accessories, and a store that consistently surprises in the best way, Octavia is well worth the stop. Just be warned: resisting temptation there is nearly impossible.

The highly organized and spaced out merchandise displays made for a quick browse through the aisles with ease. While in the store, I used the restroom and yes it was to my surprise CLEAN. I had to practice being thrifty and looking at wants vs needs. And I didnt need another clothing item nor shoe.

I found my dream dress, but it had stains on the shoulder. I ask for a possible discount and I was told no but I can tell you how to get that stain out. Are you kidding me? I had to dig through so many racks, that weren't even my size to find this dress and this is the response that I get. The service at checkout also horrendous. I walk up to the cashier. She says absolutely nothing I pay and she just folds up the garment and puts it in front of me with the receipt on top. I had to ask for a bag and she rolled her eyes and charged me the five cents for the back put the garment in the bag and just gave it to me no thank you nothing. Visiting Sheep's is a uniquely special experience. There is no website, no social media profile for this place. If you're like me, then you probably stumbled upon it while walking the more residential streets of Fells. It's so refreshing to just find a place, not to be advertised to go there. Hell, the only advertisement for this place that exists is a road sign on the corner. The store has been around for at least forty years. Charles, who was an art professor at UMD, and his wife Darcy are the only employees. They import goods from the UK and Ireland, traveling there yearly to scope out what's good. What isn't from Europe is a selection of pottery, postage, tea towels, etc from the east coast. I love their goods. Everything is quality, everything is so well sought out. Their two-tone cardigans are so cute, and they're honestly priced fair for what they are. This store is so lovely, and the effort put into sourcing the wool goods and curating the storefront is so palpable. I also love chatting with the owners. Please, please pay these guys a visit, if not for their 100% (which is rare these days) wool sweaters then for the atmosphere and the knickknacks and literally everything else.
