How's the student at Hopkins this was essentially the closest mall we had to go to when we were on the undergraduate campus. I still have fond memories of renting a car with my friends (is ZipCar still even a thing?) and spending the day at the TTC. Naturally, all malls have suffered to some degree in recent years with online shopping getting more and more prevalent. This mall tends to have some on going issues with safety. The parking has improved some with a system that alerts where parking spots are available. Depending on the day, time, weekend/week day and if its a holiday would determine the type of crowd of shopping. When I went it was just before Christmas, therefore, parking was hectic and the mall was busy. I was able to make my shopping experience smooth by parking on the top level and going to the stores necessary then leaving out. The mall was decorated and in sync with the holiday spirit. read more

I've been to this mall a number of times over the years. I few weekends ago I visited specifically for the Madewell store, but after I completed my business at Madewell, I wandered the mall. I have to say...this mall has declined greatly. They seem to be missing the high end stores they used to have (primarily Tiffany's) and there's a rundown feel about it. Also, the down escalator in the food court was out of commission on a Sunday during peak shopping time. Having to wait in line for an elevator sucked. I'm glad this isn't the mall closest to me and I only visit every blue moon for specific things. read more

Never been a fan of shopping malls but I had to bring my daughter out here because this is the closest location with a Rainbow store. There are plenty of garages for parking. We came in on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't that crowded. The food court could have been cleaner. Doesn't look like they give it enough attention. There also seemed to be a lack of seating in the Food Court area. In walking through the mall most of the stores were open. They have all the major mall stores but I was looking for a place that sold greeting cards and wasn't able to find one. I found that about half of the escalators were out of order and there aren't many traditional stairways to use. Still not a fan but I would come back if I absolutely had to. read more

I've been coming to this mall for years but hadn't for quite some time until recently. I almost forgot how much I liked it here! It was a weekend, so this place was jam packed! Parking was a bit of a nightmare though. I often wonder, with all the online retail options, do people even shop in person anymore? Well coming here reminded me that yes, many people still do shop in person. This mall offers a lot in terms of shopping and dining. I saw signs for a Fogo de Chao coming. Woot!! I wasn't looking for much but ended up getting a few things before sitting down in the food court to enjoy my drink from Starbucks and do some people watching! While it is central to Towson, MD in a good location, there are too many reports of crime in this shopping area and malicious destruction of property within the mall. There are random stabbings, shootings, mobs of people who come in to destroy and loot what they can. It's changed this much in the last 20 years. Shoppers beware of what goes on there; be careful of where you park. Park as close to the mall entrances, backed into a space so you can pull away from this location in a hurry. read more

I visited this mall for the first time yesterday. To my surprise, I liked this place. It appeared to be well kept, had all of the typical "mall stores," and wasn't too crowded. This is a very fancy mall that spans most of downtown Towson these days. Parking is a nightmare and there's so much here to eat and do, but a lot of it is overpriced and crappy chains. Love this mall! We stopped here for a quick meal and some shopping. We are always looking for organic, craft items and unique gifts & we can always find them here! There's plenty of parking in garage or outside in front of other entrances. A lot of food options to choose from depending upon your taste and price. There's an elevator for handicap & ramps from garage. We really enjoyed the holiday display with Santa awaiting the children's request. We shopped here for a while and had excellent service in every store we entered from Apple to Vera Bradley to a unique clothing store whose name we cannot recall. Macys fine jewelry department at Towson mall is a Scam!! Tried to return a gold necklace and was told I could not because I didn't have the sticker that was attached to it with the price, that is not legible. My original sales person Never told me I needed to keep that for a return. The sales associate/ manager was rude and said sorry, its also written on the receipt, which again was never pointed out. A Nice crowded place in the heart of Towson. It's a nice place to walk around and shopping. It's nice place for kids too whether you go there for shopping or just walking around to burn some fat off. There are variety shops in there such as Apple, LV, Michael Kors, True Religion,... which you can't find in other small malls. It is always packed doesn't matter what day. The mall is large and has some pretty varied stores (from your budget-friendly to the more luxury stores), and it has lots of parking. However, it definitely felt dated and needs a face lift and a little excitement? It was fine, but I didn't shopping here enough that I would go out of my way to shop here. Mall security is crazy! I visited the mall and parked my car on the top floor of the garage. I started to fix my hair to go inside. The mall security car starts circling my vehicle and stops right next to me. I rolled down my window. He starts asking me why I parked on the top floor and tells me that people who park on the top floor want to start trouble. I told him I had been parking on the top floor for 20 years and that I was there for a return. I showed him the item I was returning and he left. This guy is insane! He was a white male with chubby cheeks. I would hate to know what would have happened if I did not have a return with me and was just going shopping. I know that there have been some recent issues with young people. However I am almost fifty years old and look my age. They had no reason to bother me! I have been shopping at Towson Town Center for about 30 years, since it was only two levels. I go there to shop and have an enjoyable experience. It is a shame that the previous owners, The Rouse Company - a Baltimore-based company, are gone. The current owners only care about numbers and couldn't care less about the community. Every year I make thousands of dollars of purchases to support The Salvation Army and homeless shelters, and most of that is at Towson Town Center, plus my regular shopping. I will no longer shop at Towson Town Center. That business is going elsewhere. It was interesting. When I went inside, I told the managers and staff of the stores I patronized what happened. One woman said she also got kicked off the top floor of the parking garage a few months ago by security - and she works there! If the mall does not want people to park on the top floor, they should block it off with a barrier or orange cones. It seems like security is getting their jollies off of harassing legitimate customers and staff, rather than actually doing real security! Terrible! read more

Full disclosure: I moved to Harco from the King of Prussia, PA area, home of the amazing King of Prussia mall. If you haven't been, it's the largest mall on the east coast and has tons of high and low end stores. Towson has a decent selection of stores, but the layout of the mall is confusing and the parking is a nightmare. I have a sports car and the ramps in the garage are just too steep for my car not to scrape on every one of them - not to mention the car is a manual and stopping on the ramps is difficult. I have to either park on the first level or across the road. The pluses - the mall does have a Nordstrom, a Lilly Pulitzer, Pottery Barn and a MAC store plus Sephora. Those are the main reasons I go when I need to get something quickly and don't want to drive the 2 hours to King of Prussia. This mall is just ok but better than nothing. read more

Towson Town Center is the closest mall to me, so I've made several trips here out of necessity. It does have lots of nice stores (and a nice food court), but the layout is strange making it a bit difficult to navigate, and parking can be a nightmare. It also doesn't really have that mall-y vibe, if you know what I mean... it feels kind of cold and strange. Also, I've tried using the bathrooms in the food court twice and both times they were extremely unclean, with many other mall patrons making the same comment. read more

Came here to meet a few friends. This mall has undergone a change in that it has added a new wing of higher end stores to give shoppers more options. The new wing includes such stores as Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Lilly Pulitzer, True Religion, Apple, Lacosta, Sephora, Swarovski, and the like. This wing also houses the Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang, Friday's and Stoney River Steakhouse. Valet and self park are available. The mall has 4 levels of stores, but l relegated myself to the new wing. It's best to come as soon as the stores open to avoid the crowds and the parking nightmare. All in all the new wing has plenty of stores to peruse and although I won't be visiting too often, I will enjoy my occasional visit. read more

WOW!!! I'll spare you the boring details, but all you need to know is that this mall is HUGE and the parking is confusing!!!! I've never been to a mall that has everything from a very high end Louis Vuitton, to a low end Rainbow. Go figure! A Nordstrom's and Nordstrom's Rack and probably the largest Macy's I've been to in the area. Harry and David, Crate and Barrel, Hallmark and the list goes on and on. The food court wasn't impressive, but I'm not a big food court person when I go to the mall anyway. Towson Town Center does have a few restaurants on the outside of the mall, Cheesecake Factory and P.F. Chang, to name a few. If you're looking to get your steps in for the day, this is the place to go because I believe they have 4 levels of stores to shop through. It's a ton of options for the experienced shopper, like myself. (wink-wink) The parking can be a bit confusing, but as long as you pay attention to where you park and pay attention to the brave pedestrians that step out in front of the apparently "in a rush" speeding drivers, you should be good. I'm a fan of this mall! Lots of options and plenty of price points, everything from Tiffany's to H&M, a little something for everyone. Covered parking is appreciated when it's cold outside. Food includes lots of quick choices in the food court or some chains on the outside to sit down at. Again, the food options meet many price points too. One of the Baltimore Metro area's premier malls. It's been around forever, but they do a nice job of keeping it modern and relevant to today's shopper. Anchors are Nordstrom (with the Rack on the bottom floor) and Macy's. This Mall is built on a relatively small amount of real estate compared to Columbia Mall, so instead of a "spread out" two floor plan, it has a multi floor maze like layout. I used to get lost years ago when I first came here. The worst past IMO has always been the parking. 95% is garage parking and you really have to fight for a space during busy times. You will find many top selling stores here such as Pandora, all the Foot Lockers, DTLR, H&M, Zara, VS, and even Tommy Bahama. The Luxury wing is declining at a rapid pace-sigh. I'm sure the pandemic didn't help. Burberry closed a while ago, and today I was taken aback to see Louis Vuitton closed up. When I googled, it says it's temporarily closed, but there really is no indication that it will return-all evidence of the store has been removed. But this is mainly a great place to shop, and has a very good food court selection. read more

The night prior on my way back to my hotel room I had asked my Uber driver what there was to do around the area. Not being from here I knew to ask someone that was familiar with the area and he suggested to come here as it was recently remodeled and it would definitely kill some time for me. I am glad that I had asked him because I enjoyed myself while doing some retail therapy. I am not sure why some people are complaining about this place. Everything they are stating in their reviews I did not see or experience. As many have said, parking sucks, if you show up at a time this place is busy, you may be searching for a while before you find a decent enough spot. Also, be prepared to walk when you are here, it is a massive mall with a weird layout, I honestly got lost more than once here. That wasn't a bad thing as it led me to discover some amazing deals and great shops. Compared to some of the shopping malls back home, this one blows them away. Security personnel do not follow posted Covid guidelines. Sept 23 needed to used elevator due to repairs on escalators. Entered the elevator when proper distancing could be followed. As the door shut 2 security personnel stopped the closing door and entered. Another gentleman immediately stated directly to them "we are all going to get Covid". The security personnel replied "oh well" and laughed. I spoke directly to the manager of security and expressed my concerns. He stated that they had every right to enter since they had masks on. We did not have 10" between us after they entered? I asked about the posted guidelines and asked why there was a complete disregard by his employees not to mention their lack of professionalism. His reply that was I was completely wrong about an Covid guidelines and that ARIZONA was going to stop mandated mask wearing. Have no idea what that had to do with anything. This is a really nice mall, but don't come here at night. I've been coming to this mall for about 15 years now and wow things have changed. I've been coming from the humble beginnings, to the exciting addition of the cheesecake factory and PF Changs, to now new additions and even more expansion. This place has some great stores. I love the Crate and Barrel here, though I don't care for the Macy's too much. They have some fun kitchen stores, and all of the basic shops that you need. I also want to point out that I think their food court has some great options, some of the best food in a mall that I've ever had. This place great really busy so I prefer not to come on weekends or nights. At night this place can get a little......scary. My daughters love going here to spend birthday money, Christmas money etc. They even have upscale stores such as Burberry , Coach etc. You can literally spend 6 hours or more at this mall. The restaurants are the variety too. Cheesecake Factory is very popular and worth the wait. Every cheesecake you can imagine. So many different ones to choose from and you will never be disappointed. I was here and one of the escalator staircases was under repair so everyone had to pile in the elevator so I took the manual stairs. I did take the elevator once when no one else was around but God knows how many people had crammed in there a few secs before. I ate in the foodcourt and was in the cell phone repair store. People were close but they were masked up. I wish I would have read the yelp reviews about the ppl not following covid guidelines before I went. Hello, I was at this location today with my wife and she saw a purse she liked and wanted o buy it but it was more than the same purse we saw at Macy's , the only thing that my wife didn't like about it was the color. The manager not only price matched the item in the color she wanted with no problem , but she gave us an additional 20% off to beat there price even more. The way she ran the store made you want to return and we surely will. She was polite, friendly, professional, and efficient. My wife now has the purse she loves .. great job!!!!! read more
