Their pizza slices are sizable $6 each
Vi T.

Stopped in to grab a $6 slice of their seasonal pizza: Sesame crust vodka sauce. This includes mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, vodka sauce, kalamato olives, basil, and a few thinly shaved slivers of prosciutto ham. They change their specialty pizza every season. This one was tasty and hit all the right notes for savory and slightly salty (from the kalamato olives), atop a perfectly thin sesame seed sprinkled crust. Highly recommended while it's still available in rotation for the winter season.

14" Garbage pizza pie minus meatballs

I was in Alameda and was looking for a convenient Dinner to take home after a long day at work. I was walking down Park Ave. and I saw this place right across from the place I had stopped for a scoop of Ice Cream. Yes, don't judge but I couldn't wait for dinner before I indulged in dessert, but besides the point ; Pizza sounded like a really good idea. I had ordered a pie called Garbage pie which was a Pepperoni, Sausage, Meatball, and Bell peppers with olives. I omitted meatballs but I did order the 14" pizza for take out. I hung out and waited out the 20 mins for the pizza but it was ready in no time. They did have a free water station and also sold pizza by the slice. I even saw a Sicilian style square slice, as well. Pizza was A+ and the Staff was great too. Definitely will go back and try more of their varieties of pizzas.

Slice of pepperoni pizza

I hate to post negative reviews but I would want to know. Tried a slice for the first time this weekend & was very disappointed. Super soggy , not good flavor & expensive for what it was. $20 for 2 slices & a canned soda. Friendly staff , & great location unfortunately the food didn't match.

HAIR IN MY PIZZA #1 problem, but lets get deeper! Well, I will have to say up until now please all I have to say is get better employees you are on a central location on Park Street. Videos to prove it see attached I ain't just talking all the side of my neck How in the hell are these people customer servicing on you in a very influential area. and for all those who want a deep dive into this review, not only did I ask for a manager they turned their head and they said there was no manager, and then the person that did come out, basically looked at me and turned right around some lady...I have no idea who they are but you all need to get a English speaking manager to handle anything that happens during a shift ....and you figure this was 4 o'clock in the afternoon !! This was when parents and people who have things to really do, don't have time for any lackluster on top of the fact that I got a hair on my pizza no one asked anything about that. This is disgusting. Oh and I got pictures to prove exactly who these employees are so if they are not scaled up to the level of what this restaurant needs to be, it's your fault management!!!

We were on a mission for pizza by the slice and my daughter found this place. $4 for a slice is a steal. (Cheese or pepperoni and a few other options). They stock Boylin soda too so that's a nice treat. I will say the cheese pizza was hella good. Super thin crust, a little crispy, and the sauce was tangy and flavorful. They have good parm cheese too not the Kraft junk. And their garlic peppercorn (not ranch) sauce is the jam. The service is fast too. The staff is friendly and attentive and the restaurant is clean and has a cozy feel to it. Definitely will be a go to pizza spot for us.

Food is great is good. Service is okay. Ambience is music, pinball game and customer chatter. Come and try something different and something the same pizza.

Pepperoni Slice and White Slice

We came here on a weekend afternoon and the place was very chilly inside, likely because the foods were left open. You basically order at the front when you get in, then wait for them to call your pizza. There's no waiter service and you simply grab your pizzas once it's done. The place says it is New Jersey style pizza. My partner is from the northeast and thought that his slice of pepperoni pizza was pretty true to its name. We got the pepperoni slice and the white slice. I think the pizza could have been warmer, and that the spinach on my white pizza could have had a bit more flavor, but the slices are generous portions and it's nice to have a place where you can order by the slice.

Solid pizza joint with good slices and soda selection. This is my "I want a slice tonight" pizza spot. Nice service and a decor that fits.

Love their pizza and sandwiches. Would like to see them get a beer license again so it can be more of a destination than a takeout place.

The bread was super fresh--soft on the inside with just the right amount of crunch on the outside. You can tell they don't cut corners with quality. Nothing was overpowering, and everything tasted clean and well-made. What really stood out to me was how fresh everything tasted. It didn't feel like a rushed sandwich--it felt like it was made with care. If you're looking for a solid Italian sub with fresh bread and high-quality meat, Brothers Deli is definitely the spot. I really shouldn't single them out because I've noticed that a lot of the east bay delis have the same type of bread, but I will say that it just wasn't my taste. The rolls (I got the Dutch Crunch, sourdough roll, and the soft roll) were not that great and --like I said-- maybe it's the same vendors everyone uses in the east bay. For the cost, I'm not too enthused to try the other options. Every time I passed by their spot, it's busy, so I figured I'd try it. It's just not for me, but people seem to like it. ‍

However, don't let that stop you from trying the location. I shared a Banh mi with a friend. I think I enjoyed it more than she did. It was spicy. Everyone at our table enjoyed the fries; they were perfect, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The sandwich was generous; we both had enough to eat. There were three of us digging into the fries. I am sure we could have finished another order. I often find myself in Alameda, and when I do, I will stop here.

The first time I went with my toddler and I was in a wheelchair after ankle surgery. We ordered food, the cashier said I would get a text, and we picked a table. 49 minutes later I wheeled up and asked if our grilled cheese, popcorn chicken, and tater tots would be ready soon. The cashier was on his phone and said "did you even check your messages? That order's been ready for a while now." I look inside and it's been shoved to the side. A nice lady handed me the tray and the grilled cheese is cold. I told the cashier and he just shrugged. Then I'm in the wheelchair with the tray on my lap, but I can't wheel and carry a tray. I asked the cashier for help. Since I'm interrupting him from his cell phone again, he makes a big deal of sighing then asking the lady inside to help me. The chicken was mostly breading. Fries didn't seem salted. I gave the cold grilled cheese to my dogs when I got home. Every time we have gone since then, there are a ton of kids running around. But there isn't a kids menu. I don't want to buy a 5-year-old crummy chicken or an overpriced burger. Now we leave and grab sushi then come back. The vast majority of my friends are disappointed in Southie as well. Park Station, please get a better food partner!

The staff was cordial and friendly, and the chicken-themed decor, charming. Now it IS a chicken joint, the go-to chicken spot for my full carnivore friend. He loves them for their chicken, their inexpensive menu and their large portions. I'm mostly pescatarian, though I do sometimes cheat with bacon. (I always feel SO guilty afterwards too!) I ordered the honey mustard salad with bacon and no chicken. My friend ordered the chicken Mac n cheese and tater tots. The bill came up to $30, and the portions were good on on the salad, GREAT on the tater tots and decent on the chicken mac. I can't speak personally on the chicken but my friend says it's amazing. I tasted some of his Mac n cheese with no chicken, and it was really good and flavorful, nice and cheesy. I tasted his tater tots. They were plentiful, well-seasoned and fried to golden perfection, with a nice crunch. I ate all of my salad. About 10 minutes later the server brought what looked like our food to the only other table at the restaurant. The pair sitting there brought it back to the server as it wasn't what they ordered. Our server apologetically just handed us the food that another pair had inspected and returned (they said they didn't touch it). No napkins, fries, or ketchup for the fries. I went to the counter and asked for napkins and fries and politely asked about our fries. They apologized and said it would come right out. My sandwich bread turned out to be fairly burned, and it tasted burned. Towards the end of finishing our sandwiches (about 20 minutes after I ordered and 10 minutes after I asked about the fries), I asked if my fries could be to-go. The friendly server was again apologetic and said they would check on it. A minute later they came out with a box of fries and apologized they they had been forgotten about in the kitchen. They were no longer hot. I was disappointed with my most recent trip.
