    Mac Salad

Sandwich Board has been around forever so it must be good, right? Have to admit I dont come here often, but felt like a turkey (sando) today. Have to street park on Webb or Park. Its tucked a little ways down Webb St so you kinda have to know its there. Not gonna just walk by it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Take out only - didnt see any place to sit down and eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ladies are super nice and fast. I changed my order 3 times. Oh you have specials - can I change to that? Oh you have roast beef - I'll have one of those too. "Sure, no problem". I ended up with the turkey salad special - yum yum with chunks of turkey. Mac salad was just OK, but I came for the sando. I think they would really well in the old Dimitra's location on Park St. by J-in-the-B with a parking lot, bus stop and lots of foot traffic. Anyways, gotta put Sandwich Board on my regular lunch spots from now on. Good food, super nice and fast service, very reasonable prices - what's not to like?

Colonel Jim's Special Roast Turkey w/ Avocado, Cranberry Sauce, Bacon, Cheddar Cheese $14

I've been coming to Sandwich Board for years, and it never disappoints. If you're looking for a real-deal sandwich that tastes homemade, this is the spot. My go-to is the Colonel Jim's Special -- it's stacked with roast turkey (a perfect mix of white and dark meat), avocado, cranberry sauce, crispy bacon, and cheddar cheese. It sounds like a Thanksgiving leftover dream, but it's elevated. And yes, it is as good as it sounds. What really sets this place apart is the turkey -- they roast it fresh every day and hand-slice it. You can tell immediately that it's not the usual processed deli stuff. The care they put into their food comes through in every bite. The sandwich is $14, which might seem steep until you see (and taste) it -- it's hearty, satisfying, and made with real ingredients. Worth every penny. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop itself is tiny -- kind of a blink-and-you'll-miss-it spot -- and parking can be tricky, but the quality of the food and the great service more than makes up for it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's the kind of place where you grab your sandwich and some chips and find a nice sunny bench nearby, or take it home and make it your main character meal for the day. Highly recommend supporting this local gem.

Got the #1 with mixed white and dark meat turkey w/ sprouts. I like that they make the turkey in house - it's a solid sandwich with a lot of good flavor and textures. Everything is so fresh and delicious. I'd come back again.

It's more of a grab and go spot as there's only one small table outside with two chairs-there is a dog leash hitch though that's handy! Great place to stop by for your sandwich or Italian fix!

Great texture. Yet despite the heartiness, you can really taste the quality of the ingredients (they source their ingredients from Italy). I've enjoyed talking to the wife (co-owner with her husband). She's really friendly and passionate about the food she serves. She told me her husband is from Italy, and you can really feel the pride in the food. Pro tips: It's best to call in early to order ahead! You can pay at pickup. Why? Because they often sell out early! Once the bread runs out, you're out of luck (and there will be a sign on the front door saying so). There can also be a very long wait time if there are a lot of orders. Lastly, check their IG everyday for the sandwich they're promoting that day based on their available ingredients! Seriously can't wait to return and try the meatball sandwich.

It's located on the marina side of 1070 Marina Village Parkway, and is not visible from the parking lot. I've known about this place for years, but never had a reason to drop by. But on a Monday morning, I decided to try their sandwiches after my doctor's appt got done early. It's actually a nice location if you want to take a break and relax. The outside patio has a view of the marina, and it's pretty quiet. I wasn't really impressed with this place. The young lady who took my order at the counter didn't say hello, she just asked for my order. I ordered the Roast Turkey Special w/ Cranberry Sauce on sliced sourdough. Pretty ordinary sandwich for $12.50. While I was waiting I added a large fruit salad (mostly watermelon) for $7.50. I took my order to go, but there's tables inside and on the patio. Would I return? Probably not. Free parking in office lot.

I'm forever grateful for that recommendation because they make some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I've tried a few items on the menu, but the one I always recommend is the Hot Italian. Everything about this sandwich is incredible. It's packed with flavor, and you can honestly tell it was made with care. I usually pair it with a bag of chips, and the total comes to around $18. It's absolutely worth every penny and always leaves me full and satisfied. The shop is consistently clean, and the customer service is always friendly and welcoming. I find myself going back over and over again, then telling myself I need to take a break--only to end up back there a few weeks later. That's how good it is. A couple of things to keep in mind before you visit: there's only limited street parking, so you may have to circle the block to find a spot. There's also not much room to wait inside, although they do have a bench or two where you can sit while your sandwich is being prepared. In my experience, the wait is usually around 15 minutes. I've honestly never been here when it wasn't busy, so expect a crowd. But once you take that first bite, you'll understand why. Great food, great atmosphere, and great customer service. I highly recommend checking this place out!

They have a nice variety of items to grab that go well with your sandwich. The service was friendly and quick. Workers were all kind, and we love that it's dog-friendly! Regarding the sandwiches, you can get a hot or cold sandwich. You can also build your own! Companion got the Hot Boy, and I went the Build Your Own route. The sandwiches are hefty, with lots of great meats and fillings, and for the price, very decent! I wish my bread were a bit more toasted and crunchier, but that's my preference. It hit the spot, and I'd be open to trying their other sandwiches. I don't often go to delis, but Brothers Deli was a nice place to try. We enjoyed it by the waterfront, which makes it a great picnic option. Find them off Park Blvd., with street and residential parking around.
