Amazing seafood. We ordered an aguachille, tostada, grilled camarones, ceviche, and tacos. We went for the ceviche, and expected everything to be similar, but each dish was uniquely delicious. The place is clean, has modern design, and despite being brightly lit inside had a lot of vibe, both in the dining area and at the bar. These guys nailed the food and the experience. I was dying to try this place. Love the fact that they have many locations so went after work as there is one near my job. The menu is so extensive that I didn't even know you can do seafood so many ways. I ordered a lot of food that I couldn't finish but that was my eyes bigger than my stomach . Had some really delicious dishes and some that I wouldn't get again but more of a preference thing. The guacamole with the fried octopus is to die for. MUST GET!!! Only reason my score isn't 5 stars is because I opted to sit inside because of the heat but there was no air and the space is pretty small. Also wish the server helped us a little bit more in ordering as the menu was in Spanish. There was an English version but still had more Spanish than English. Overall would recommend going if you're a heavy seafood person and love to try new foods. read more

A decent (but spicy) meal that was soured by a poor customer service experience. We walked in around 9 and were seated immediately which was appreciated. We ordered the aguachile mixto and 3 tacos each--beef, fish, and octopus. A ceviche arrived which we mistook as the aguachile and started eating.. and wow did it set our tongues on fire. My husband who usually puts hot sauce on everything didn't even touch the bottles on the table because his mouth was already burning up. Then the aguachile came and we said we didn't order that. A server came over and clarified that it was the dish that we ordered, but that the ceviche shouldn't have come to us but we probably confused it because they both had mango. No big deal, I just assumed that what we did not order would be taken off the bill.. well that wasn't the case. The tacos were my favorite part of the meal but surprisingly the beef taco was the standout and not the more popular octopus taco. I was quickly shown the bill and later realized it didn't add up.. they charged us for the ceviche too! I felt like it was very sneaky and overall it soured the whole experience. I had wanted to try Mariscos El Submarino for awhile so it was disappointing to finally try it and walk away feeling taken advantage of. read more

Mango good. - mixtos aguachiles: was spicy but had just the right balance of acid and the fish was fresh. It was a ton of food. - ceviche Pescado: huge portion, very bright and perfectly seasoned. Again spicy. - tacos: Costra and delicioso over craken Good - zarandeados: liked the grilled shrimp, but did not love them - they have a limited number of indoor seating with a small bar. I was excited to see that they opened another location, I've been meaning to check out this neighborhood too. I've heard about their Jackson Heights location on IG and today I was craving Mariscos. As a San Diego native, I have very high standards for mexican food. This place does a good job. There's lots of seating in their outside patio too. I recommend their pulpo taco and grilled shrimp. Service is friendly but on the slow side so my only feedback is to check up on people more often. read more

Just as good as the other two branches, but word of warning: it's spicier! The star of show is their aguachile, delicious shrimp in a chili lime sauce. As you go down the list, they get spicier and spicier, red being the mildest and mango habanero being the hottest. We've had red elsewhere, but don't remember it being that spicy! I think they just run hot at this branch, but it doesn't take away from the flavor! Order any of the aguachiles, the half dozen shrimp are smoky and seasoned well, they have a few star tacos but otherwise, best focus on the seafood! read more

Got a handful of food items, everything was delicious. The seafood tower had a sauce that burned like takis, the tacos were all amazing, and I legit want to get hungover so I can go back and get the shrimp and cheese taco (that's more of a quesadilla). Great food. Remarkable in fact. Great service and when we walked in we thought it was empty. But turns out there's a huge yard which was packed. Lovely yard space with low lights and so many hot sauces to choose from. I love that they keep the interior design the same amongst all their places . BUT.... Please note there are nuts on the cracken taco. That ISN'T noted in the menu. I am highly allergic, and luckily noticed it before I ate it. But this is very dangerous to not have noted in the menu. Horrible customer service. We got in and waited like 5 min before being seated which was amazing but then moments after being seated we were told to get up cause they have another huge party of gringos waiting and that we skipped them... it's only 3 of us. They rushed us and letting saying we have to go back outside and wait when we were asking them questions. They had plenty of more seats that they could fit us in that I'm literally seeing w my own eyes, but they choose to tell us to go back outside and wait 30 min. Then he goes on and says I don't like to rush the other customers like what! You're literally rushing us back outside. It was so rude I was so taken back by how they rushed us. We Deff didn't wait 30 min. Horrible experience and it was my first time. I'll try the other locations instead for sure. read more

This restaurant I can't put into words. It's the best restaurant I've been to in my life. Please, if you are thinking of going here, just come. They make everything fresh to order. The flavor is unbelievable. The people are wonderful. The atmosphere couldn't be more fun and lively. Music and joy. Somehow it's really like Mexico City in Brooklyn. Mixed Experience at This New Spot in the hood. I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon really looking forward to try out this newly opened restaurant, hoping to explore their variety of tacos and seafood. While the service was courteous, the food was a mixed bag. I sampled several tacos, including the octopus and shrimp options. Unfortunately, both seafood tacos tasted less than fresh -- the octopus had a rubbery texture, and the shrimp seemed like it may have been past its prime. For a restaurant that appears to center its menu around seafood, this was disappointing and made me hesitant to finish my meal. On the positive side, the guacamole was excellent -- fresh, vibrant, and clearly made with quality ingredients. My mom ordered the steak taco, which was also a hit: flavorful, tender, and well-prepared. Another challenge was the lack of an English menu and the server being in different to explaining the menu left a lack luster effect on the dining experience. While I understand it's a new establishment, having bilingual menus could help make the experience more accessible to a broader range of diners in the neighborhood. All in all, there's potential here, especially with items like the guacamole and steak taco. But for a seafood-focused spot, ingredient freshness is crucial -- and that's an area that needs urgent attention. read more
