    Margie's Bar & Grill

The Friday fish fry come in small $15, medium $18 and large $21 which has two pieces and is enough to share with someone.Thats what I choose. So with speedy service and a smile I got my order. The fish was tasty, the fries a little cold, the coleslaw was on the sweet side,it also had potato salad and a Mac salad I wish was a little creamier.Nice size bar to grab a cocktail. Come early cuz there's not many tables and you may wait a long time especially on Friday fish fry day.Street parking available. Also a side note they do charge for extra tartar sauce.

Look at the size of these wings!! Yum!!

Came here to check out the 50 cent wing nights on Wednesdays. Totally and 100% recommend the wings here. They were very large and cooked properly. They have about 10 different sauces and rubs to choose from including mango habanero! This time we got the regular hot.... Which wasn't too spicy. They were delicious! As usual, with wing nights expect that you will have to pay extra for the little things. Each blue cheese is extra, carrots and celery are extra, you have to buy a min of two drinks to get the wings deal, etc. But it's worth it in the end. This place is a neighborhood bar, nothing fancy about it, the bar area is full of regulars. The food menu looks great with reasonable pricing but there is something I have to mention because it is something that would unfortunately keep me from coming back. The bathrooms are located directly next to the tables in the dining room. Literally right next to a table. This is disgusting already, but you could smell urine throughout the entire room even sitting further away from it. It smelled like a kitty litter box. So bad that I actually got out of my seat twice to go close the bathroom door to try to get some nausea relief. If we come back, I will only stay and eat if we can get a seat at the bar area.

Excellent fish fry and sides. Small place. Small parking lot but street parking also. Great service. Very busy on a Friday night

Nice little bar in Drpew/Lancaster serving up homemade food. We have only been here once and ended up going on wing Wednesday for 0.60 wings (only hot, med and mild are 0.60). There is a $1 upcharge for specialty sauces and dry rubs. We ordered hot honey garlic and lemon pepper dry rub wings. Wings were good, although I would've liked a little more lemon pepper seasoning. Take note that blue cheese, celery & carrots are also extra $. The staff was very nice and service was quick. Will stop back again to try other menu items!

This place is amazing. Randomly showed up on FB feed, so we decided to give it a try. There were like 20 things I wanted to order. Decided to go with ribs. Thick, meaty, fall of the bone rack. They were amazing! Cole slaw was spot on too. Wife couldn't decide, so she gave the waitress the decision between BOW and Philly Cheesesteak. Came out with the cheesesteak and she loved it. Big fan of the French Onion soup too. Portions were great, comfortable atmosphere, prices were reasonable, and there is great variety on the menu and weekly specials. Waitress and owner Danielle were very friendly as well. Cute bar too. Gotta give this place a try. I'm going back soon.

Excellent service. Excellent food. Lots of homemade stuff to eat. Amazing experience. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend! Parking lot is very limited. Parking on the street is an option but it a busy intersection.

This is the second time I've had a fish fry from my little margies. I really like that you have the option of choosing a small, medium or large fish portion. We went with two mediums. The fish itself was very large and meaty. Very good quality and I enjoyed it. The only thing I didn't really care for in this dish was the French fries it came with were undercooked and the sides were really runny. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the fish and this little restaurant is absolutely worth checking out. Im looking forward to coming into the restaurant once we reopen!

Shout out to literally the best place for wings in and around Buffalo! And they have the most amazing fish tacos! I'm so glad they still are open during the pandemic, you need to stop here for their wings or a fish fry! Checkout their Facebook for daily specials also! They make pick up so easy during this crazy time, support your locals restaurant!

Everyone has tried to keep me away from here but whyyyyyyyy? I'm not sure if most people are holding a grudge from years past but from what I understand it's a new owner (family but still new) and is much different than it used to be. I cannot talk about the past because this is my first time here but I know it will not be my last. We sat in the bar area because it was late so no one was in the restaurant part and we had a safe distance from others around even though it's a small area. The girl serving at the bar also took our order and she was awesome! She gave us some recommendations on what to order and even checked with the kitchen staff with some questions we had without an issue. She was very friendly and attentive to us while we were there. The food was so good, I tried the stuffed pepper quesadilla but the winner of the night was the fish fry! One of the best I've had and not very greasy which is why I do not normally order them but glad I tried it. It will probably be what I order the next time and I also like you can get a small, medium or large serving and the medium was a perfect size. The prices cannot be beat either! I only got a pic of the quesadilla, sorry!

Eggplant Caprese 9/10 Very crispy eggplant breading. The eggplant itself was cooked good. There was also more eggplant than there was Mozz and tomato- so I would suggest adding another couple slices to balance out every bite. I'd add a touch more balsamic too. Bison sliders 8/10 Meat was good, the slider burgers were pretty thick and juicy. I would recommend since they were so think maybe cooking them a minute less for a more medium cook. I liked the goat cheese paired with the meat but you really couldn't taste it, i wish there was more. I'm not sure if it was the onion jam or the blueberry BBQ but something was a little spicy. Bbq pork belly tacos 7/10 The pork was cooked great, and the bbq was a good flavor. I liked the idea behind the double shell (one hard, one corn tortilla), but I think it would have worked better if it was a flour tortilla because both shells ended up breaking and I needed to use a fork to eat it. Between the hard shell and the sweet potato crisps, there was too much crunch for me. I did like the pairing of the pineapple with the BBQ sauce.

He once told me that the only thing worse than cheap wine is Buffalo in the winter and of course, here we are.. We searched Yelp and Share Kitchen had great reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. Our server was Hannah and she is absolutely a 5 stars gem! Super nice and down to earth. We ordered several dishes: 1) Eggplant Caprese: deep fried eggplant, tomato, basil chiffonade, and balsamic drizzle. The eggplant is breaded and spiced nicely. It was served hot. There are 2 and it was good 2) Roasted Artichoke: it was really the heart with the stem, breaded, served with a very small amount of arugula, lots of shaved parmesan and a lemon wedge. This was very good- wish there was a bit more arugula. My bad for not ordering a salad 3) Bison Sliders: the blueberry BBQ sauce intrigued me. There are 3 and it is served medium, or maybe medium rare. The grilled onions were yummy on there! 4) Jackruit Tacos: these were on the paper menu with their specials. What is smart is the taco shell is fried and they serve it inside a regular tortilla. Both corn. Yummy with the pickled onion. 5) chocolate ganache cake: GF and surprisingly dense and yummy. Served with a dollop of strawberry jam and some whipped cream. Yummy! I didn't take a photo of it as we just dove in! We are bummed that they are booked tomorrow night! It's a great place to take a date and there are tables for 4 or you can eat at the bar as well. All around great ambience, our server is awesome and the food ono!! We talked to the host while waiting for our Uber and he is also born & raised in Buffalo- everyone we've met from Buffalo is so nice, including our neighbor who we will deeply miss. Food was ready about five minutes after my scheduled time, which for as busy as they were, I thought that was great timing. Ordered the big sampler, with pulled chicken, pulled pork, brisket and ribs! Platter is a nice size with large portions, four of us ate on it. The pulled chicken for me was a stand out, so good! 10 piece chicken wings, cheeseburger with fries, pizza logs and crab cake platter. For our sides we tried the mac and cheese, pasta salad, baked beans, mash potatoes and sweet potatoe fries. Everything was good and would get again, except the crab cakes. These were just not good, very fishy, and burnt. The pizza logs were huge! The Mac and cheese had no seasoning, but was cheesy and after little salt and pepper wasn't to bad. Definitely on my top three favorite BBQ spots! I forgot pictures, but enjoy the video!

I looked at my wife and said, "Let's do it, we'll try the fish fry!" So off we went. The special on the menu was grouper. My wife had her heart set on that. Unfortunately our very sweet waitress said (at 7:30 pm) that they were out of the grouper and breaded fish fry (my choice, lol). So our start was a little shaky! I forgot to mention that I loved the new opportunity to make a reservation (we called at 5:30 pm & got a 7:30 reservation for 4). At first it caught me off guard, but honestly with how slammed they were I totally understood -- I wouldn't want to be doing all those extra dishes either. After dinner I moved inside to try to actually hear the band. I ended up seated near the bathrooms, and unfortunately there was a pretty unpleasant smell in that area. Not sure if it was coming from the bathrooms because of how close the table was, but it definitely wasn't the best spot to sit. The hostess who sat me asked if I wanted a drink and I said yes, but about 20 minutes later someone else came over to ask me what I wanted again. I completely get that they were busy, so I'm not upset about it -- but the drink unfortunately never made it to the table.
