Everybody that was in there when we got there seems to know each other and we're all very friendly. As for the place: it's a little hole in the wall. That has several pool tables and I think five or six digital dartboards. Apparently a couple nights a week they have various special things going on. The night we went they were having a trivia contest about to begin. We didn't stay for that, but clearly there are locals that come here each week for this. As for the food: there were four of us this evening and each try something a little different. As for my wife and I, we had bacon cheeseburgers and she added an egg to hers. They were both very good. We really enjoyed them. They had a lot of flavor and were perfectly cooked. My one sister-in-law had a burger with Swiss cheese and mushrooms. She also liked it a lot. My other sister-in-law had the chicken quesadilla. She said it was OK. Not exactly sure what that meant by that. We also did buy some nachos for the table and I will say that they weren't the best. They looked good, but by the time they got to the table, they were already room temperature and they just didn't have a lot of flavor overall. But overall - we were happy. As for staff: all were very friendly. But I think they were almost too busy to serve us at our tables. Ortiz didn't get refilled, and it took us asking for our check to actually get it. Again, they were all very friendly, but I just think they were running around too much to properly serve the room. So overall, this little hole in the wall gave us some decent food. Again, some friendly staff, but clearly a little local joint for the neighborhood. But if I was in the area and wanted a good burger, pretty sure I would still stop in.

For breakfast I opted for coffee (free refills), and the Chicken and Waffles, specifically the Life's a Peach option. Coffee was good, not too strong, not too weak! The meal was also good, think peach cobbler, with chicken. The waffle was thick and soft. The chicken was lightly seasoned and crispy. The peaches were on top of the chicken, but I think on top of the waffles would have been a better call (so I reconfigured things myself). Half way through eating I noticed the candied pecans were missing so I asked my waitress because I was interested in trying them with the dish. She noted that they didn't have them and haven't been able to get any for over a week. While I would have ordered the dish anyway, it would have been nice to be told upfront. Another downside of the meal was the third chicken tender was all batter, I didn't see a bit of meat in there. Check out the picture and let me know if you see it.
