I ordered the raw oysters and fried oysters from the happy hour menu, along with additional raw oysters that weren't on happy hour: Hatteras Salts, North Shore Gold, and Laughing Kings. The Laughing Kings were my favorite. I also had an oyster shooter, the Pura Vida mocktail, and the white sangria. Everything was absolutely delicious. Leamon was my server, and he was attentive, friendly, and very polite throughout the meal. He never made me feel rushed, which is something that can sometimes happen when dining solo. Everything arrived promptly, and finished dishes were cleared away quickly without being intrusive. The quality of the food, excellent service, and consistently enjoyable atmosphere are why I keep coming back. If you're an oyster lover, this place is definitely worth a visit.

One piece of advice: arrive a little before Happy Hour begins at 3:00 p.m. If you wait until then, you'll likely find yourself several people deep in line. Don't let that discourage you. Embrace it, because once you're seated you'll quickly discover that the wait was well worth it. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices--especially during Happy Hour--are outstanding. The Atlantic specializes in oysters, and their Happy Hour runs daily from 3:00-6:00 p.m., including weekends. We began with a Chopped Caesar Salad ($9). Every ingredient was crisp, fresh, and flavorful--a simple dish executed exactly as it should be. Next came the oysters: a dozen Rockefeller and a dozen Pacific. The Rockefeller oysters were everything you would expect from this classic preparation--rich, savory, and baked beautifully. The Pacific oysters, however, completely stole the show. Each oyster was topped with a delicious combination of chorizo sausage, pepper jack cheese, and seasonings before being baked to perfection. They were bold, flavorful, and easily my favorite item of the afternoon. I also ordered the Double Stack Cheeseburger ($7), and what a terrific value. The burger arrived piping hot, loaded with melted cheese, and accompanied by a generous serving of crispy fries. It's hard to imagine finding a better burger at that price anywhere along the Oceanfront. My wife ordered the pork, shrimp, and kimchi dumplings served with a chili crunch and ponzu sauce that tied the entire dish together beautifully. She jokingly threatened to drink the remaining sauce after finishing the dumplings (she didn't), but she did convince me to dip one of my fries into it. She was absolutely right--it was fantastic. In fact, I now regret turning down the dumpling she generously offered me. Part of the fun of dining here is watching Shuck-Master Slim work. He's not only remarkably skilled but entertaining as well, adding a little personality to an already enjoyable experience. From the fresh seafood to the outstanding value and friendly atmosphere, this was another memorable visit to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. If you haven't been to The Atlantic on Pacific, I highly recommend adding it to your list. You'll be glad you did, and you can rest assured that you're helping support one of our outstanding local restaurants.

Check-in was great, the service was great, the food was served hot and delicious, the billing (5 couples) was handled well, even the time-delayed order for a couple that arrived late was handled well. Waterman's is more than just hype, it's the real deal! 10 out of 10!

Since they were out of the malasadas, I decided to order the banana latte instead. I'd give it about a 7/10. For context, I'm always searching for a great banana latte because I love flavored coffee. One thing that frustrates me is when coffee shops advertise flavors like cookie butter, lemon pound cake, or red velvet, but the drink just ends up tasting like sweet coffee with no real trace of the advertised flavor. I was pleasantly surprised because this latte actually tasted like banana. It wasn't the best banana latte I've ever had that title still belongs to one I had in Las Vegas but it was definitely one of the better ones I've tried. The only reason it wasn't rated higher is because I noticed a sugary base flavor that overpowered the coffee a little for me. I personally prefer flavored lattes where I mainly taste the coffee cut with milk and the featured flavor heavily, not just sweetness. That's purely my preference. The fact that I finished the entire drink says a lot. I've had plenty of flavored coffees that I couldn't even finish because I disliked them so much. This wasn't one of those. I enjoyed it, and I definitely didn't regret ordering it. Now...the real star of the visit was the lumpia. It was AMAZING. Crispy, flavorful, and easily some of the best lumpia I've had. I actually tried another lumpia spot recently, and while it was decent, Ohana & Co.'s lumpia completely won me over. It's honestly the reason I'll be back. I have an eye appointment in the area next week, and I'm already planning another stop. I'll definitely be ordering the lumpia again, and this time I'm hoping they have the banana malasadas because that's what I originally came for. I also want to try one of their platters. One small PSA: the menu calls them "jumbo" quail eggs, but quail eggs are tiny creatures of nature to begin with, so don't walk in expecting chicken egg-sized deviled eggs.
