We went back for more. Delicious duck. Huge portions. Good service. Outside seating. Pleasant atmosphere

This was Ka Pow Crispy Chicken and it was a miss for me. The chicken was dry and rubbery - tough to eat, and almost no sauce.

The ambiance was great and it was well-decorated. The service wasn't as good, the food took awhile and no one checked in while my water ran out. The food looked visually appealing but the crispy chicken was so crispy that it was tough to eat - dry, rubbery. The heat level was pretty good, and I unfortunately ate around the chicken. As I was leaving, the waiter noticed I had food left on the plate and asked if I needed a box. I told him my honest review of the meal and he said he would comp the meal. However I paid for it, in order to support the business, because it's never easy to run a restaurant. I hope it was just a bad meal and maybe an off night. Who knows?!

Brought my wife for Mother's Day Breakfast as we both love Thai food, but have never had it for breakfast. The atmosphere was perfect. Very clean and well lit and they have outdoor seating. Service was perfect and very quick, and did not feel rushed. We both ordered a Thai style dish. A picture of mine is below and my wife ordered a crab omelette. Both were very good. The table next to us ordered American style food that looked great as well. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely time trying the food here. I love Asian brunch, it's the perfect mix of healthy veggies and protein. A plethora of vegetarian friendly options here and beverages to accompany meals. I wasn't enthralled with the iced lychee coffee, but I still drank what I could. Otherwise our food was lovely. Our breakfast French toast was sweet because of the fruit, not overly saturated with sugars. I loved my egg and veggies platter, I would've liked it more if they had put on more jalapeño though, since I'm a spice lover. The only downside was the space was crowded from two large parties. Not their fault though. I'm glad they have the business!

Unique hidden gem that serves American brunch with a Thai twist as well as Thai brunch dishes. If you prefer a Thai lunch/dinner, there's a menu for that too! Beautiful open space with Insta-worthy opportunities. Food presentation is delightful. I ordered the Kai Ka Ta and Lychee Coffee. Both were delicious, and prices are reasonable. Next time, I would like to try the Thai coconut pancakes! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive.

This is one of our favorite go to neighborhood restaurants. Definitely the best Thai in town. Lovely servers and hostesses and staff. And the food is amazing. Great quality and service! Lovely ambiance and outdoor patio as well! A favorite!

Paid Charlottesville a visit with my family as a previous UVA alumni and wish this spot was open while I was a student! The food was excellent, quite literally every dish we ordered had its own wow factor. Came for brunch at around 10 AM and it was relatively empty, but service was incredibly quick. We got our drinks and food after only 10-15 minutes of waiting. Our waiter was attentive, kind and we passed along our compliments to the chef. We ordered the crab omelette, kai ka ta, chicken and waffles, ka pow crispy pork belly, pad see eaw and papaya salad. Everything hit the mark - from spice level, complexity of flavor and generous portion sizes. The standout dishes were: 1. Kai ka ta - unique flavor with the sauce and toasted bread to scoop up the chicken, veggies and fried eggs. 2. Crispy pork belly - sweet, savory with a side of rice and generous amounts of pork! 3. Papaya salad - refreshing, crunchy and we could tell it was made fresh that morning. Added bonus were the sizable pieces of shrimp on top! 4. Mango sticky rice - MUST ORDER!!! One of the best I had, perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Honorable mention goes to the Thai Iced Tea. Ordered one for myself and it was finished within minutes upon sharing. Highly recommend their brunch but am sure their lunch and dinner menus can't disappoint. Service was excellent, friendly and left us wowed. Can't remember the last time a restaurant left this kind of impression on myself and my food-loving family!

We planned to share everything b/c we were hungry and wanted to try Thai in a different city. We ordered the Chix Satay which came in a decent amount of time after ordering and was presented in planks vs on a stick which Im used to but regardless, cooked SO well and came w carrot & cabbage twirlies and peanut sauce! Delish! Entreés; My bf ordered the Pineapple fried rice and I ordered the Crying Tiger. OMG. The meat was very well seasoned, spice sauce served on the side and more carrot and cabbage twirlies. The Pineapple fried rice was also very DELISH and a decent portion with enough to take home. There was a SOLID chicken to pineapple ration which is so so important when considering mixing chix and pineapple

We were sat promptly as there was only one other table at the time there but once we were sat about 5 more tables came in. Our server brought waters to start and I had a Thai tea, which was good, not too sweet- which I like. I order the dumpling as an app, they're pretty small but you get a good amount and the sauce was really good. In order the red curry and my husband ordered the Thai fried rice. Both were really good. I liked his dish a bit more, it was very savory. The red curry had fresh vegetables in it and still had a nice crunch to it, which I like. If we're back in Charlottesville we'll def go back.

They also have the most delicious pad thai and pad see eaw in town (having tried the other local spots many times over and been disappointed). This restaurant and owner deserves all the recognition and appreciation in the world. I really cannot emphasize enough how much I love this place. As soon as you walk in, you're welcomed into a warm, clean, and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant felt well-organized, and the staff greeted us right away before showing us to a booth--our favorite type of seating. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, giving us plenty of time to look over the menu while also offering a few personal favorites when we had questions. That balance of great service and genuine hospitality really stood out. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Tom Yum Lemongrass Soup with pork and the Chicken Pad Thai, while my wife had the Wonton Soup and Drunken Noodles. I ordered takeout, and a smooth process had been implemented allowing me to quickly grab it. I liked that their online ordering system had a lot of checkboxes to customize things, but was nonplussed when I pulled out my vegetable soup with the "no cauliflower" option (which they clearly wrote on the container to remind themselves) but which did in fact have a bunch of broccoli and cauliflower that imbued the soup with a sulfurous foulness that I was hoping to avoid. Setting that aside, the rest of my food was quite good. Oddly, their curries are more vegetarian-friendly than some of their stir-fry dishes. I ordered my green curry Thai hot, and they delivered a ferocious dish with no questions asked, and a small sachet of extra dried chili that I didn't need to use for this and so saved for other food. The curry with some aromatic Jasmine rice hit the spot. Some vegetable rolls with very fine noodle threads made for a good snack later. I could certainly see coming back, ordering something different, and getting high quality food.

No Thai food at all....and thus is my review. Food (3 out of 5): We ordered the Chicken Panang Curry and Pad See Ew beef. The panning curry was my favorite of the two entrees. The chicken itself was tender and good, the broth was far too thin to be a good curry, but the flavor itself wasn't too bad. It was unfortunate that it did not look like the photo, it was missing the red peppers and the basil leaves. The Pad See Ew beef....well, I am a huge fan of this dish and get it every possible moment. This one was definitely not my favorite - the sauce itself was a bit too "fishy" for my taste. The noodles were pretty mushy by the time they arrived and they seemed to be the dry rice noodles (not the fresh ones.). The beef itself, which is a $3 upcharge, was good, though.. So, I would order the curry again and perhaps order a non-noodle dish next time.... but I would order again, with my expectations in check. Also, I would ask for chili paste, soy sauce and chopsticks!
