    Lychee Coffee Breakfast

We had a lovely time trying the food here. I love Asian brunch, it's the perfect mix of healthy veggies and protein. A plethora of vegetarian friendly options here and beverages to accompany meals. I wasn't enthralled with the iced lychee coffee, but I still drank what I could. Otherwise our food was lovely. Our breakfast French toast was sweet because of the fruit, not overly saturated with sugars. I loved my egg and veggies platter, I would've liked it more if they had put on more jalapeño though, since I'm a spice lover. The only downside was the space was crowded from two large parties. Not their fault though. I'm glad they have the business!

Unique hidden gem that serves American brunch with a Thai twist as well as Thai brunch dishes. If you prefer a Thai lunch/dinner, there's a menu for that too! Beautiful open space with Insta-worthy opportunities. Food presentation is delightful. I ordered the Kai Ka Ta and Lychee Coffee. Both were delicious, and prices are reasonable. Next time, I would like to try the Thai coconut pancakes! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive.

This is one of our favorite go to neighborhood restaurants. Definitely the best Thai in town. Lovely servers and hostesses and staff. And the food is amazing. Great quality and service! Lovely ambiance and outdoor patio as well! A favorite!

Paid Charlottesville a visit with my family as a previous UVA alumni and wish this spot was open while I was a student! The food was excellent, quite literally every dish we ordered had its own wow factor. Came for brunch at around 10 AM and it was relatively empty, but service was incredibly quick. We got our drinks and food after only 10-15 minutes of waiting. Our waiter was attentive, kind and we passed along our compliments to the chef. We ordered the crab omelette, kai ka ta, chicken and waffles, ka pow crispy pork belly, pad see eaw and papaya salad. Everything hit the mark - from spice level, complexity of flavor and generous portion sizes. The standout dishes were: 1. Kai ka ta - unique flavor with the sauce and toasted bread to scoop up the chicken, veggies and fried eggs. 2. Crispy pork belly - sweet, savory with a side of rice and generous amounts of pork! 3. Papaya salad - refreshing, crunchy and we could tell it was made fresh that morning. Added bonus were the sizable pieces of shrimp on top! 4. Mango sticky rice - MUST ORDER!!! One of the best I had, perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Honorable mention goes to the Thai Iced Tea. Ordered one for myself and it was finished within minutes upon sharing. Highly recommend their brunch but am sure their lunch and dinner menus can't disappoint. Service was excellent, friendly and left us wowed. Can't remember the last time a restaurant left this kind of impression on myself and my food-loving family!

Food was excellent. I had the Ultimate French Toast. Others in our group had more traditional Thai dishes. Everything was good.

As is often the case on this arcade, the restaurant also has a dedicated set of outdoor seats at the middle of the brick walkway. You'd think all of this would be an upgrade, but no. First, I ordered in advance online to spare myself a wait, not knowing that it was an actual sit-down restaurant. However, upon arriving at the space, there was no one to take an order if I'd wanted to place one, and only rarely did anyone emerge from the back with food. I just took a seat and waited. By the time someone acknowledges my presence after some fifteen or twenty minutes, my food was apparently already ready and just sitting there. I didn't leave a tip as my impression of this place was that they weren't really providing any service. There's nothing wrong with a counter service model rather than full table service, but one way or another they seem not to have figured out what they were doing. Other potential diners also seemed confused. Don't get me wrong, the good was great. My ginger lemongrass noodle soup delivered an explosion of flavors. Would order again. I just hope they improve the customer service experience, because this is a great opportunity for the average local to try some vegetarian Vietnamese food.

I can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu.

As soon as you walk in, you're welcomed into a warm, clean, and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant felt well-organized, and the staff greeted us right away before showing us to a booth--our favorite type of seating. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, giving us plenty of time to look over the menu while also offering a few personal favorites when we had questions. That balance of great service and genuine hospitality really stood out. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Tom Yum Lemongrass Soup with pork and the Chicken Pad Thai, while my wife had the Wonton Soup and Drunken Noodles. Our friend chose the Dry Noodles with Duck and finished the meal with the Fried Banana Ice Cream for dessert. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and arrived surprisingly quickly. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meal. If you're looking for authentic Thai food, friendly service, and a relaxed dining experience, Thai Cuisine & Noodle House is definitely worth a visit. We'll absolutely be back!

The food menu is extensive. On the flip side, the wine and beer list is limited. The house wine appears to come in the small bottles they serve on airplanes. They do offer a couple bottles of wine for sale. We ordered a bottle of red wine from Washington state, and it was very enjoyable. We all enjoyed our experience here. We had 3 different curry dishes and one stir fry. We also had the egg rolls which were very good. The service was good overall; however, we had problems getting the check. We finally asked, and one of the waiters let us know we could just go to the counter and pay. The prices are reasonable, and we would return.

It's cool that the noodles are hand-made but they were very chewy to me. Maybe I'm just not used to home-made pasta but it was lacking. I appreciate that they have vegetarian options, however it seems like it's written by a meat-eater who thinks, "this is what vegetarians can eat!" Very limiting and not very creative (from a pescatarian). Pasta was ready very quickly which was nice but if it was rushed, it shows. $12 for butter noodles. Can't say I'll be going back.

Trying to park in this area…read morecan be a bit challenging during peak times, especially given that construction was ongoing at the time of my visit. I ordered several items to eat over a period of time, and got most of what they had that would interest me. It's the kind of place where vegetarian with cheese is possible but other more restrictive dietary needs may not find much. Their interpretation of garlic bread is a flavored pizza crust, which I don't like as much as a properly airy loaf of bread. The cacio e pepe could have use a bit more pepe, but I appreciated the al dente noodles texturally. While they brand themselves as a pasta place, their pizza had a tangy tomato hit and a ton of basil that I appreciated. Arguably the best item was the salad, which oddly claimed to be a traditional caesar but had shaved brussels sprout, marinated tomatoes, bread crumbs, and a vegetarian dressing. Which is to say, it was much better from my perspective than a traditional caesar. The ultimate amount of food for the money, in consideration that this place is pure takeout, did not wow me. Were I in Charlottesville, I would sooner seek out a chance to dine in somewhere nice or cook my own, but for a traveler, the food here satisfied a craving.
