Went here this morning. It was my third time here. The first two times were pretty basic. I got my dozen donuts, no complaints on the taste. Service wasn't memorable. This time around I showed up around 6am. The ladies up front were no where to be found and a random guy reading the paper at one of the tables jumps up and starts helping me out. One of the workers pops up from behind the counter and takes my order. I ordered a croissant and a half dozen donuts. The lady stuck my donuts in a bag and all the oil started seeping through. I had to lay newspaper in my car. Where the heck is my pink donut box? The croissant was freshly made but not cooked all the way. It was still doughy inside. I only came here because my usual donut shop down the street, Happy Donuts, was closed for a couple days. Happy Donuts is very friendly. Every time I come in they already know what I'm going to order and they take the time to know their usual customers. read more

I used to come here almost every morning when I worked near this area. Their breakfast croissants are pretty good and filling. I usually get the ham, egg, bacon and cheese croissant with a Vietnamese Iced coffee and a maple donut bar or chocolate glazed donut. I was driving by this place with my girl and I asked her if she wanted the best donut of her life! I would have given this place 5 stars but they ran out of donuts by 11am and I hate disappointing my girl. I ended up getting a breakfast croissant and shared some with her, she said it was pretty good. As for the Vietnamese iced coffee, it wasn't as strong as I like it but it was alright and a donut would have hit the spot. The prices here are not bad, and they have plenty of parking out front. I guess if you really want a donut you could just get one at 7-11 next door when they run out. read more

Maple Leaf Donuts is the place I go when I need a donut and I don't feel like hiking all over creation to find a Winchell's or over to Stan's or to the 7-11s that still have the Pink Simpsons donuts that I love more than I will eventually love my children. Was that wrong? Anyhoo, I've found that the place is really cheap compared to many of the other donut shops around...and even most of the doughnut shops in town. The location is kinda unremarkable, you might never see it if you don't look. The plain cake and the glazed are both very good. This is the best place to go for doughnuts or croissants or bagels and coffee. The place is lovely and comfortable and sparkling clean. The doughnuts are just the right level of sweetness. I have the biggest sweet tooth ever! So you can imagine my disappointment when my fiancé and I arrived to find that there were no more donuts available. This place is open until 3pm, so I'm sure anyone would assume donuts would be available to buy until then. We got here around 11:30am, brunch time and no donuts! Also, their display is clean but the seating area is very messy, Which is why I'm giving this place a 3 star. On the bright side, my fiancé ordered a Croissant breakfast sandwich with cheese, ham, egg , and bacon; with a Vietnamese iced coffee which he says wasn't half bad. read more

These are average donuts. And the freshness is inconsistent. When they are at their very best they are still only 3 stars. I am surprised how highly regarded they seem to be. Maybe it's because people compare them to the Safeway next door? I just don't get it. read more

I first discovered this place on yelp, I had moved to Campbell and I was craving a donut. I would normally head to Psycho Donuts but that day, I wanted an old fashioned. Forget the donuts, the breakfast bagel sandwiches here are THE BOMB! Definitely gotta try #15 but you gotta get there early because by 9:30-10:00 AM the best bagels are gone. I'm so stuck on the sandwiches that I haven't even tried the donuts haha. I like the way they wrap the food too, nice & clean. I tried the coffee here once and it was too light for me -- but then again I'm Guatemalan and I'm used to that top-shelf coffee. The ladies here are also nice! read more

The food is average in my opinion, but the staff is very friendly so I added an extra star :) I've tried the turkey egg and cheese croissant, and a glazed donut, both were just OK. Prices are relatively cheap though, so no complaints there. read more

These donuts were delicious!! I got the Maple French Cruller and a regular glazed donut. The maple French cruller was really light with a bit of crispiness on the edges. The inside has pockets that make the donut really chewy. The glazed donut was absolutely delicious!! The inside was so airy. The dough was really light and pillowy - I devoured it in like 2 minutes. I like the fact that it's light so I don't feel like total crap after I eat it. The inside also had little specks of black which made them seem like vanilla beans? But I'm not sure. I love this place, sweet girls who run the shop who are sister in laws. They give great service, are super friendly with everyone who comes in. You can tell when they see their regular customers that they acknowledge them, making sure that they are known and will get to them soon. With the welcoming comments and gestures, grabbing a quick bite here will make you smile. Of course they have delicious doughnuts and other goodies too. Stop in and say hello! Turkey egg and cheese croissant (the #2) was so delicious! Maple bar, chocolate cake donut, sprinkle and glazed are all supper yummy! Bonus: they take cards! We were originally going to one closer to our house but they only take cash, so this was our second choice. Which will for now on be our first choice! read more

Tried this place for the first time was it was close to where I needed to be. Had the Kona blend coffee which did not taste anything like Kona coffee. Tasted a little burnt and dirty. Donuts were about average a little on the dry side but the people were very friendly and inviting. read more

Great croissants usually the number one is our go-to pick. As for donuts AMAZING! Donut holes are always so yummy. Great selection for drinks, they have two big refrigerators to pick from along with coffee and tea. Love the girls that work here they are always so sweet. Very good, inexpensive food. This place is a little hard to see, I go by here all the time and I just noticed it today. I was walking to the 7 eleven next door for lunch (because there aren't too many places in walking distance near where I work) when I saw this place. I ordered an egg and cheese croissant and it was so good! It was also cheaper than I would have thought, so I know I won't feel bad spending money here. This place is the best for glazed donuts, hands down. They are super large and not overly sweet. Just right. That's all I can judge on, since that's all I've ordered so far. They have two choices of regular coffee as opposed to just having regular and decaf only like most donut shops. Also their prices are lower than all the other donut shops I've ever been to. And one last thing, the girls there are very polite and sweet. I definitely recommend this place. read more

This place is the best donut shop in Campbell, BAR NONE. I sometimes wake up at 3:00 in the morning just to get here at 4 in the morning when they open to buy their freshly made donuts and the older Caucasian gentleman who works there ( I think he is the owner, he drives a REALLY old car ) is a class act and always has the donuts I like ready. The Vietnamese girls who work there are REALLY, REALLY nice too and they always serve you with a SMILE, HOW COOL IS THAT??? :) I usually get at least half a dozen donuts and eat them in my car as I'm driving home. I also get a pint of Orange juice to wash them down, so I REALLY like this place! They also double as a kind of " diner " type shop where they will fix you some sandwiches if you'd like, breakfast sandwiches on croissants and stuff like that but I really don't care for their sandwiches cos I think they're kinda substandard. As a donut shop they EXCEL, I MEAN THAT. I really can't recommend that you buy any specific donut cos it is regular old donut shop and they pretty much have all the donuts you would find at any other donut shop but they are fresh throughout the morning and they are sold at a reasonable price ( usually 95 cents per donut ). Classic mom and pop (or mom and daughter?) donut shop. Great breakfast sandwiches. Must try #16: sausage, bacon, egg, and cheese on your choice of bagel. Donuts are good but nothing special. As one Yelper pointed out already, they're just not quite gooey enough. Had an apple fritter the other day that left a bad taste in my mouth. Their doughnuts are on the more affordable side ($.75 each). When I came in one afternoon craving a maple bar, they didn't have any left, but there were plenty of chocolate bars. This could either mean that their maple bars are off the hook popular, or they just don't have that many. read more

I've come here a few times now with my husband and despite the ordinary-looking place, I've found that the donuts are some of the best I've had. They have perfected the dough of their regular doughnuts to be on the light side, a little chewy, and moist but not at all greasy- which is exactly how I like them. The review below is right, if you like donuts oozing with grease and syrupy glaze then this is not your place. If you love a clean and solid donut that doesn't make you feel disgusting afterwards then you should try them out. I usually get their chocolate-glazed "rosette" donut and my husband gets their regular maple-glazed ones. I really like the fact that they open early (5 am!) and are cheap as far as donuts go. It's a bonus knowing that my money's going to support a mom and pop establishment. read more
