Maple Landing is the sort of place that you will love or hate; there is no in between. Love Field provides the inspiration for the funky interior design with a wall of clocks in different time zones and a section of fuselage from a 737. There are three dining areas and, somehow, two kitchens allowing for either tasty American foods or craft pizza. The full bar offers a good selection of national and local beers to go with solid cocktail options. Outdoor dining is available on a covered patio when the weather is nice and the party room has pool tables and games available. I've been there twice and been pleased with the quality of the food and the service. It's a great place to get good food, good drinks, and the people watching options from the eclectic neighborhood is first rate. read more

First let me say Trisha was a great server, very warm and inviting! Ok on to the food, my Fiance and I both ordered burgers. He got the chili burger with homemade potato chips and I got the avocado bacon burger with home style fried. Trisha asked if we wanted pink or no pink and we both chose no pink. I even said no mooing very well done! His came out nicely, mine came out bubble gum pink. Disappointing. Trisha handled it by having a new burger made. It was still pink but much more eatable. Sadly their way of flavoring the frozen patties is to throw things on it like chili cause there was nooo flavor on mine. Overall way too much money for frozen patties and flavorless burgers. read more

Friendly service, casual sports bar with interesting menu. I would give 5 star, but I got the Ahi-tuna salad, and the tuna was a bit tough and the flavor wasn't quite rite. However the greens portion was interesting full of fun ingredients and the dressing was delicious. I added a side of sweet potato fries for some carbs it is a perfect amount as a side read more

We had an appointment at UT Southwestern and decided to see what kind of restaurants were close by when this one popped up. It had a patio ... so EVEN BETTER! We waited a little bit for our waiter to come over, but that gave us some time to look at the menu and not feel rushed. We aren't really into craft beer and lucky for us they had Michelob Ultra. We got the sliced brisket sandwich and the brisket melt with house made fries. We both asked for our brisket to be chopped, but I guess they forgot. They were both amazing sandwiches. The fries were really good, but after seeing the sweet potato fries come out we had wished we had ordered them instead. Oh well... next time! Definitely give them a try if you are in the area. read more

Really great food and drinks - ham & cheese was so good and the brunch item chicken & biscuits (with potatoes, egg, and gravyyyy) yum!!! Blue mojito too- we will definitely be back and bring more people with us! Service was great and even great ambiance for young families at brunch read more

I got my Texas BBQ fix thanks to Maple Landing in Dallas!!! I got the half sausage half brisket plate. The portions weren't excessive which I enjoyed. I do wish the brisket was more fatty but it was still good quality and tender meat. The sausage was good too. I also appreciated that they give you cornbread and a biscuit with the dish instead of just one. The pickle bonus stole my heart though lolllll.... Anyways my favorite side dish was the mac and cheese. I could taste the variety of cheeses; both dry and fresh cheeses. I was not a fan of the brussel sprouts because they were drenched in the sauce, which was too sweet for my liking. Definitely recommend this BBQ restaurant when in Dallas!!! read more

I've been to Maple Landing a number of times with my friends. It's a regular brunch spot for us on Sundays. In my experience the restaurant has always delivered with food. The service has for the most part always been solid. Though we've had a hiccup before it's never happened again. They have plenty of space, with indoor, outdoor and larger table seating in the back. It's a great place to host larger groups. If I'm hungry, I normally get their burgers with confidence I'd walk out full. If I'm looking for something light I pick the bacon and eggs. Always recommend their queso starter, they normally serve with tortillas chips and potato chips and hits the spot every time. I rarely get a drink besides coffee, but their beer and drink selection is expansive. They have some solid options. Highly recommend for casual lunch, brunch, or even a larger gathering. read more

Amazing service and great food! Visiting from out of town and finding this spot was perfect. We decided on the biscuits and gravy with a side of their delicious brisket, and it was soooo good! To top it off we tried the bread pudding and it did not disappoint!! Service was top tier with Kia helping us choose great options and being so helpful. We definitely recommend and will be back when we are in Dallas again!! read more

Great food, service and area. Very cool set up inside. Can hear the planes take off. Stevie behind the bar was amazing. She truly knows her stuff and makes every effort to make your visit an experience. The wings were so darn delicious. The brisket and sausage were also tasty. The sweet potato fries were the best. Waffle sweet potatoes!! Like when done correctly, amazing. The slaw was a vinegar base. It was perfect. I now will make sure to go back for more wings and then get the pork sandwich with slaw. The burgers I saw looked amazing. Also the piece of cornbread was very good also. I was thinking of dessert till I had that. Go support this place, it is a gem. Can't wait to be back read more

I was here on a recent trip to Dallas for a conference. I've been to Dallas many times over the years and until my colleagues said they wanted Brisket I realized I've never gone to a restaurant in Dallas for Brisket. I've always had it at a friend's. So the pressure is on to find a decent BBQ place. We ate outside since the weather had finally cooled that evening. Attentive service We all ordered the brisket and sausage platter. Loved the sausage and the brisket was fine. For me the selling point for me was their whiskey and scotch selection. They had an extensive selection with some of my favorites eg WhistlePig, Angels Envy, Basil Hayden, and Balvenie to name a few. Even their $6 selection was solid and varied read more

Really really good! Loved the food and service here. So much of it to share too. Definitely give this place a shot

Walked in expecting a good meal and ended up hanging around way longer than planned. The place has plenty of energy without being loud or chaotic, and the atmosphere makes it easy to kick back and enjoy yourself. Food was on point, drinks were made right, and the staff stayed ahead of everything without hovering over the table. Nothing felt forced or overdone--it was just a solid night from beginning to end. Definitely the kind of spot I'd hit again. read more

Food was good. Service was phenomenal. The dessert was angelic. The bread pudding is definitely a must have.

Visiting Dallas for business. Stoped in at Maple Landing for dinner. I was welcomed and promptly seated. I ordered a cocktail and chose the 1 meat combination. Food was great a but little messy but amazing I love the kimchi. Service was quick and clean.

This was the first BBQ place I tried on my trip to Dallas and I feel like every other place was playing catch-up. I got a three meat combo with brisket, sausage, and turkey and chased it with a sweet tea. This feels like it's the BBQ starter pack. My server and the bartender were both amazing (shame on me for not getting there name) and were dead on with their drink suggestions. Definitely worth your time, can't wait to come back read more

Went there this past week for lunch and we had the Brisket melt, bacon cheeseburger and Brisket platter. The melt was awesome however the brisket platter was a little dry and the flavor was just ok however it was very tender. Cheeseburger was great. For sides we had the Mac and cheese, Chipotle potato salad, sweet potato fries, brussel sprouts and regular fries. All were good except the sweet potato fries which were fried to hard and we sent then back and they prepared another batch which were just great. read more

Stopped by this gem for lunch before heading to the airport. There's ample patio seating and depending on the weather, they'll open the garage style doors for an even better ambiance if you're sitting at the bar. The Silver Bowl "The Classic" salad was interesting, but tasty. It's marketed with spicy chicken but it tasted more teriyaki in flavor with no spice. The mix of two dressings + the fruit was well balanced, but the chicken flavor is questionable for me. Overall would still recommend and would likely revisit to explore more of the menu. read more

Service is a bit slow but friendly. It's a laid back atmosphere, with a fun airplane and bourbon theme, and there's a heated patio if you don't want the music or the crowd. We ordered the brisket and sausage plate (me) and an avocado burger (the husband). We also appreciated the chance to try a bourbon we hadn't purchased yet (Weller 12 year is lovely, by the way). The food was just greasy and filling and just what my marathon runner needed after a race. Now for the negatives. We were overcharged for the bourbon by almost $10, and the manager resisted when we pointed out the menu price. The BBQ sauce is rather forgettable, and the brisket and sausage plate comes with a small serving of brisket, but the flavor is very good. The bacon +avocado burger needed a dash of salt. In all, this wouldn't be our first choice, but we wouldn't necessarily be opposed to another visit. Just be sure you check the prices. read more

Maple Landing always hits the spot. I visit whenever I'm in Dallas and have brought colleagues there for a brisket potato or a pint of beer from their selection of microbrews. Stopped by on a Saturday and the service was amazing. The waiter and the staff were great. Waiter was very attentive and quick to take our order and help us. I don't even want to show the food. It was that bad and to top it off. Probably some of the worst service with an attitude I've experienced in a while. Not because of anything else than that just seems to be the vibe there. read more

Good Food and great service. We met here for an informal work meeting and dinner and had a really good time.

Still not able to give 5 stars, but the food was enjoyable; which is consistent from my previous experience. Our waiter was a bit all over the place, he was nice but he allowed himself to get distracted. Kept apologizing for the slow pace of things. The tables were all cleaned and ready to go on a Wednesday afternoon. Lots of small groups and prep for an event in the back area. I'll always keep Maple Landing in mind when looking. for good food and drinks. read more

My Husband & I tried Maple landing for dinner (October 2023). The food was "mid" at best. I'm a really optimistic person so I'll often say food was good when it's only ok, but I didn't even finish my plate. I ordered the brisket sandwich and the elote. The elote simply wasn't good, it had a odd taste. The sandwitch was ok, but I didn't finish it either. The prices are really fair though so I wasn't very upset. My husband got the brisket & sausage plate and didn't like his either. However, he loved the bread putting so they have good dessert and they served me the best arnold palmer I've had! The decor/theme is also really cool. The taste was just lacking with everything else. I see their brunch seems to have good reviews so we will try them for brunch, but the dinner isn't worth it in my opinion. read more

Found this restaurant on Yelp after flying, while Starving, into Lovefield. The delightful and sumptuous word "Brisket" caught my eye and it DID NOT disappoint! I asked waitstaff Drew for suggestions as he graciously greeted me and asked if I was dining inside or out. He told me what was . I tried the Brisket Melt, sweet potato fries and the Bourbon Banana Bread Pudding for dessert. He also suggested and snagged me some extra Carmel Sauce as he said that sealed the deal. I ordered at the bar so I cannot speak on the ambiance inside. Bar was okay, but they did not greet me or clean up after their customers quick enough as the area I sat next to had not been wiped clean. read more

I was in the Dallas area for work and this was my favorite place we ate at. I absolutely love the set up with the open dining area, the decor is great. The staff is great, I think our server was named "Eric" (I hope I remembered that correctly) as he was awesome. He gave us great tips for selections and he was absolutely correct. I had the brussel sprouts and they were some of the tastiest I have had. The meats were delicious and the breads were too. This place is doing it right. read more

For the TLdnR crowd: Food: 3 stars Ambiance: 4 stars Service: 3 stars Order accuracy and willingness to make things right: 2 stars Prices and portions: 2.5 stars First, let me begin by saying that I am neither a BBQ nor a brisket fan, so this wouldn't be my first choice of venue. But we had an out-of-town friend visiting, who used to live in Dallas, and this was a place she had enjoyed and wanted to go back. The space is cool, with a variety of "vignette" style areas to choose from. 3 of us arrived around 7pm on a Wednesday evening and there were only about 4 tables with customers, though there may have been more in the back. We seemed to arrive during a shift change as there were few staff and no one seemed to know what to do. We joined our 4th member, who was already at the bar with a water. The manager (?) or perhaps the bartender told us to sit anywhere. We chose to sit at the transition between the indoor space and the patio, which was lovely. The patio set-up is quite clever, with temporary, tent-like partial walls that can be added or removed to act as wind-breaks, offering the perfect balance from the elements. The same man took our drink orders, 3 maple old-fashioneds and an Oak Cliff hefeweizen for me. It's important to know that I was really looking forward to that here, as when I worked downtown I loved the Oak Cliff brewery and that specific beer, but haven't had it in years since I switched jobs. We were left alone for a bit only one of us with water. There did seem to be some confusion about who would serve us and at one point the Hostess(?) came over to let us know drinks were in the works. read more
