Amazing!!! My husband and I ended up going here twice in our 5 day trip because we loved it so much. The Midas crush is the best beer my husband has ever had and he is devastated we can't find a way to ship it to CA. I tried a few of the beers and I liked them all. The fried chicken sandwich was delicious, so were the pulled pork sliders, and the brat. The cut of the fries and large flake kosher salt were also perfect. I seriously can't say enough good things about the super friendly and helpful staff, the great food, and the amazing beer. Definitely a must go to place! Oh! We had a couple of hours to waste before our flight and I'm glad we came here. The view was beautiful and the beer was great! I got a flight to try as many as I could and I liked ALL of my beers! That rarely happens. They really had a wide variety to please anyone. I also got lunch and was pretty happy with the chicken sandwich. Sam was incredible!! The whole experience was so pleasant but Sam really made the visit worthwhile. The beers were tasty (Midas crush being the best). This was a recommendation from a family friend for a dog friendly spot. Dogs aren't allowed on the patio but are on the grass next to the patio, so that's something. Also seemed strange that food and drink are different ordering stations, but aside from having 2 separate receipts there's no issue. Beers were great. We came here on a recommendation from a friend. We had never been to Bozeman, MT, but after our trip, we are considering moving there! The brewery itself was beautiful...everything about this place is beautiful! The building, the patio that overlooks a little lake/pond, and the decor! They used an online reservation system that worked wonderfully. I was able to see how many groups were before me and it was updated as tables were seated. The service was wonderful. During our seating our server changed, which was not a problem. The server did make a mistake and forgot to put in our appetizer, but told us after ordering our main course. She comped our appetizer, which is WONDERFUL customer service and does not always happen. The beer was refreshing and delicious! I would go back in a heartbeat! read more

Out of town and stopped by; we we're thoroughly impressed. We frequent breweries and MAP certainly compares favorably to the best. This was a great visit for our last night in Bozeman. The beer was good and not all that expensive. The food was very, very good for a brewery. I had the BBQ sandwich and my wife had a salad. The BBQ was excellent and the salad was extremely fresh and quite large! You can tell they take pride in both food and drink. What prevented a 5-star review was the service. Though the brewery was busy, there were a few basic items that we needed to ask for such as napkins, then utensils, then refills on water. These are the basic items that should be standard. That being said, we would definitely come back. The views from the building, and especially, the outside patio, are gorgeous. The atmosphere was lively, yet low-key. read more

We were staying in town for the night during our vacation travels... And being lovers of craft beer, were delighted to find a local brewery that served a variety of food that even our 12yo would enjoy. While the state law on service closing by 8 was a bit odd to us, that was okay since we really needed to get some sleep and hit the road fairly early the next morning again. The location could not be much better. The view is off the hook and just pulls you outside. Loved the grassy area and watching kids playing. I wish I could have given this place a higher rating, but for us, the beer was just okay. Nothing to write home about - but that view... That would be worth returning for. read more

I came here after about 8 miles total of hiking on nearby trails. I definitely had earned a beer (or two). I had my dog with me, and the patio had a few dogs (and then some tied up outside the drinking area). The dogs were VERY well behaved and did not shake all over people or go into the water, as someone had suggested. Perhaps I was there on a good day, or perhaps she was there on bad day - who knows. But all the dogs were awesome. The beer was great, the patrons were wonderful, and the service was a little slow (but it was busy out there and there was only one girl). I did not try any food, but it looked and smelled wonderful. I had such an awesome time meeting new people and drinking beer, if I hadn't have had to drive, I could have gotten pretty juiced and stuffed at this place! Would DEFINITELY return next time I hit Bozeman. read more

Deck Dining is fun. We enjoyed the view of Bridger and a Lagoon while sipping craft beer and having lunch outside on the deck. Inside is spacious with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the deck, lagoon and Bridger. Ordering beer and lunch is a little strange. One set of wait staff will come to your table to take your order and deliver craft beers. For lunch, one needs to go inside the building to a different location to place an order. A different set of wait staff delivers food to your table. You make separate payments for lunch and separate payments for beer. We enjoyed the place and it's a good place to check out the locals. read more

Would have given 5 stars but when I called to ask if they were dog friendly I was just told no they were not allowed because they serve food. Upon arriving many owners had dogs outside of the patio area. It would have been nice if the staff relayed that that was allowed and supported by the establishment. read more

Astronuat Space Cowboy Millionare is the latest in a seemingly neverending line of fantastic beers Map Brewing continues to crank out. This NE style IPA IMHO may surpass the STrange Cattle in that category. Midas Crush has become the gold standard for west coast IPA in the Gallatin Valley, cheers Doug! This brewery instantly became a local's favorite, and for good reason. The location is top-notch with killer views, an awesome building, local art, and great food. As mentioned above the high quality and innovative beer they produce alone would be enough to keep folks coming back. Their commitment to local causes is readily apparent with every visit. Whether hosting artists and musicians, fundraising for the local foodbank, organizing raffles for non-profits, or helping to keep public lands accessible, these guys are clearly entrenched in benefiting our local community. We just went there for lunch off a recommendation from a few of our tour guides in Big Sky. I would never recommend this place (we love beer and love trying new breweries). The bar tender took a locals order before ours (even though we were ahead of them) because they knew their order and we didn't. We had a party of 4. We sat down upstairs after enjoying our time on the patio during a 25 minute wait. We ordered right away. Never once were we offered water. Our food came after 20 minutes which wasn't bad. My burger was overcooked to the point that I didn't want to eat it. The kids chicken strips were over cooked too. No one checked in with us the entire hour we were there. We had to get up and get our own napkins and silverware to eat our lunch because we had no utensils. No one checked in with us after the food was served to ask how it was. We were very discouraged and wanted to get the check to leave. Our male server walked by us several times as we made eye contact. We had a hard time even getting the check. Then we were given the wrong check. It was awful service and overcooked food. I even called and talked to Caitlyn (a manager on duty) after we left. She didn't offer to do anything for us. We aren't from the area and it seems if you aren't a local you don't get great service. If you are driving through Bozeman, go elsewhere. I have no idea why this place has 4.5 stars. Me and the hubby went here for a date night because I know he loves to try new beer! He got the sampler to start, which I recommend getting when you first go there because for 10 bucks you get to sample the beer and find your favorite! He said they have the best oatmeal stout he has tried yet! Then we ordered food from the little grill attached to the brewery, and then you can eat in the brewery. Prices were good, we just shared the meat and cheese platter with some French fries. The meat and cheese selection was good but Cody had to get more bread to finish the spread which isn't that big of a deal. The other food around me looked really tasty! Five stars!!! Very cool local brewery. Absolutely beautiful decor inside. Giant fireplace, amazing rustic chandeliers. Just a really cool spot to hang out in. Walked outside to the patio and BOOM! The most killer views imaginable of wide open spaces, a pristine lake, and gorgeous mountains. It was a perfect day outside too and we just really enjoyed this place. They had a specialty strawberry beer on tap that was very unique and delicious. My partner had a traditional IPA, which they truly mastered. I loved it so much I bought a shirt. 11/10 would go back. read more

What a great little treat to have discovered this wonderful brewery and overall hang-out place when we were in Bozeman last week. We sat outside and looked out over the little lake and loved seeing the variety of ages of the people on the patio. Service was good, food was good for Food Truck food and we didnt mind at all the fact that the beer and food were from different businesses. Hubby and I both really enjoyed the IPA we ordered - forgot the name now but one of their more popular places. To be honest, after spending a few hours here, we were ready to move to Bozeman! read more

Been back to MAP because the beer is outstanding. I really wish their wait staff learns Bozeman kindness. The reply saying that the new seating was made for wait staff to reach you outside is not true- rarely do we get lucky enough for someone to bring us a beer. On the bright side- the view and the beer make it easy to ignore the rude staff. Also- you can get MAP beer all over town- such as the tap room where the wait staff treat you like they actually want you to be there! read more

This is a fun place. On the water, with a back outside patio. Lots of people having beer and food with their dogs, which is delightful. Inside is roomy and open. There's a big table for community style eating and some small tables and a large bar. You order your food, get stand with a number to put on your table and they bring the food to you. It's not a huge menu but the food has flair. I had a burger that was wonderful. It's a microbrewery and I don't drink beer (not gluten free) so I didn't get to have any of that. But lemme just say I was really tempted to forget I needed to be gluten free just for the night. Love that they have suggestions for what brew goes with what burger. read more

I Loved this brewery from the minute we walked in. I had spent the afternoon trying to do stand up paddle boarding for the first time on the lake. It was super windy and everyone I was with got wet struggling to make it around while people at the brewery watched. After we were done we decided we needed a beer. The bathrooms were right near the entrance and had like clothes hooks in the stalls so you could change! What?! So convenient! I loved the vibe of the bar and the decor was really cool. I got the Thunder Monkey which was really yummy. You could absolutely taste the banana right off the top but it wasn't like a gross artificial candy flavor. Very Mellow and flavorful. My boyfriend got the Manley oatmeal stout which I enjoyed as well. It was nice and chocolatey with a slight bitter finish. My cousin got the Destination session IPA which was her second time getting it. The food looked fabulous and if we didn't already have dinner plans we may have eaten there.
