In Bozeman for a week and tried to find a brewery that sat outdoors due to COVID. Was very pleased there was an outdoor option. My friend and I went on a Thursday right when they opened at noon and there was already a line - good thing we called ahead! I was very happy to see that they were seating huge picnic tables that would normally seat 8-10, with parties as small as two to keep safe. Thank you MAP! All the staff were wearing masks and trying to keep people from coming in through the back. You could take your mask off while outside until you went in to use the bathroom. My friend and I really appreciated the precautions there were taking. The beer was so great - I got the sampler three times so I could try everything. We split the nachos which was enough food for the two of us all afternoon. Would definitely recommend. read more

Food and service were both very poor. The double nachos were gross- extremely overcooked and hard as a rock trying to pull them apart and cold. Don't expect a formal dinning experience here. It's a laid back food service, order in the back at the counter and the go order your beer. Amazing food comming out of the back of this place. There's nothing amazing, nothing off the wall. It's simple, healthy and delicious. The Beers all great. They sell to go options in small and large. Super friendly staff. read more

We very much enjoyed visiting this restaurant. The seating was done with a virtual waitlist which was great. The beer list was long and the two we had were great. I had the turkey sandwich which was good but dry. I wish there had been some kind of dressing on it. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and loved it. Definitely worth a try! read more

I was visiting from out of town and came with some friends. I absolutely loved both the beer and the food! I had the crispy chicken sandwich and it was drool-worthy. The atmosphere is great as well, very trendy/hipster-ish. The staff all seemed incredibly happy- or maybe high... But hey!, it's better than a bunch of grumpy servers! Love the beer, they are one of the best in Montana and the food is great too. Only huge downside is they aren't dog friendly, used to be...not sure what changed. For Bozeman being so dog friendly they actually aren't at all and it's nearly impossible to find a place you can enjoy a cold beer with good food with your four legged friends. read more

Had the Midas crush, it was excellent. I loved the view of the place, we wish they had a little more space as it was hard to find seating (it's self seating). Good views and beer! We ended up having to wait about 35 mins to get a spot at the bar, but we came on a Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful January day, so we walked down to Glen Lake for a little bit to take in some scenery. We ordered a flight and had tried a few beers at another local restaurant and like them. My husband loved the High Country Haze (seasonal) and took a growler home! We had really great service sitting up at the bar as well as from the hostess and great recommendations. Crazy busy when we came, at it was like 2:30 so not peak meal time. Really good beers on tap, and they go fast so get what you can while you can. We ended up buying some six packs to bring home to people. got the poutine, really good, could use a little more cheese curds but still solid. Blue cheese burger was awesome, so what the chicken sandwich, loved both. We sat at the bar because it was the only available seating. This place was fantastic! We walked right in and passed the 15 minute wait for a table inside and sat outside on the patio where we watched locals swim, paddle board, and row in the lake. Beers were excellent! We tried the fries, chips and queso, and a pretzel. The fries and pretzel tasted great. The queso was a bit too thick and clumpy for my taste but the flavor was great. Wow, beautiful view, amazing atmosphere and excellent beer choices. It's a MT taproom so 3 drink minimum. Review is 4 instead of 5 for 2 reasons. 1) getting a second beverage was difficult - repeatedly ignored by staff. And 2) while the food was tasty, $10 for a brat and $12 for a chicken sandwich was a little rough for what you get. Will I go back? Yes. But knowing what to expect will help. read more

Don't miss the food...skip the queso (not Texas) and go for the awesome sliders. The pulled pork slider will stack up against the finest smoked pork anywhere...perfect. The pork belly slider is outstanding too. Served on toasted buns (as they should be). Due to strange Montana beer law you can only consume three pints on premises so grab a six pack (or more...) of the Midas Crush a juicy, flavorful IPA, Strange Cattle a NE IPA or Party, a Mexican styled lager (think Corona elevated). We were only in Montana for a week and visited three times. The staff is friendly but overworked, probably due to labor shortages...tip well! read more

I was ho-hum about going to this Craft Brewery. I was expecting the typical bar food menu. I was very surprised by one of the best chicken sandwiches that I have ever ate. Hats off to the Chef who created this sandwich. It was perfectly crispy and moist on a good brioche bun. The 5 stars go to the chicken sandwich. The Party Lager was actually pretty good and I usually don't like craft beer because of the horrid filtration process. The only complaint is that it closes at 8pm. read more

If you like drinking beer at a beautiful location while listening to live music, this is your place. I love all those things except beer, so I am limited to water or soft drinks since in MT, breweries can not serve other alcohol, alas. My friends and hubby raved about the beer, and the food menu looks good, but we had already eaten. Come early, because they stop serving you your maximum of three beers by 8 pm. Service was pleasant, the interior space is open and airy. Sitting on the patio with the view over the lake is the highlight of hanging out here, and a very popular thing to do. read more

They are the best brewing company in Montana so they are pretty much always packed but that didn't put down how well their service is. I got the fried chicken burger with the comeback sauce and the nacho appetizer. The nachos were huge and so so good but nothing could compete with that burger def recommend if passing through Bozeman read more

Staff was of course friendly, as the entire Montana was. My coworker and I order Wings (thinking you can't mess up wings ‍) we also asked for it to be EXTRA crispy. They were no were near, they were so half way done the wings were so slippery/uncooked they were slipping out of our hands. This place is only good for the beer. read more

I don't drink alcohol so this review is for the food because when I was looking Map's Yelp I noticed a lack and pictures and the food deserves more! My buddies enjoyed the beer. Friendly staff. The fried oyster mushrooms were an amazing app definitely get these. Even a guy who is vehemently against mushrooms tried them and enjoyed. We got the big map burger, pork snitzel, and the the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. The Big Map burger was the clear winner. Delicious burger, pimento cheese on a burger is always a win, recommend adding bacon. The pork snitzel was interesting and different but seemed like it was missing something, kind of dry, needed some kind of unique sauce, maybe something sweet to compliment the pork, still a good and fun sandwich to eat and the pretzel roll was good. The chicken bacon ranch burger paddy was kind of like a pressed brick of who knows what. I know they buy it frozen so not their fault but the low quality patty just didn't match the goodness of the other items. Go try the tempura oyster mushrooms and the big map burger! read more

The beer was good (lots of IPAs), but the view is worth a visit all by itself. Mountains in the distance and ice fishers on a frozen pond was something out of a movie. We had a good time and I'd imagine the spring/summer season would make outdoor seating a priority. I will say it was incredibly busy. We didn't eat but it looked like their food was good. Stopped by MAP on our way through Bozeman. Coming from a city that has been really serious about COVID hygiene, wearing masks, etc we were nervous to eat at a restaurant. MAP really could not have been the better place. We were able to wait in a virtual queue and requested an outdoor table. Every employee was in a mask and guests wore masks until at their table. We watched them clean every table between use very well! And that was just the cleanliness and safety, the food and beer were AMAZING. We both got burgers and loved the crispy buttery buns. The veggie patty was really juicy and held together well. Beers was awesome and we bought two six packs for $10 each! Very well priced and overall perfect experience. The beer was fantastic. I tried three different brew pubs while I was in Bozeman, and this one had the best beer. The food was good, but not as good as the beer. I had the pulled pork sandwich, and it tasted really good, but the pork was dry. Also, the fries seemed like they had been under a heat lamp for too long. Again, they still tasted good.
