This place was a gem I wish I could have stayed and had a drink but my kids were not letting us do anything so my husband stayed in the car while I went in to get some bottles. I love their coffee liqueur it's the best I've ever had. Haven't tried the other spirits we bought but I'm sure they'll be great got some goodies I can't wait to mix with when I get home.

    As expected! lol

Great little place to stop for a drink. LOTS of specialty cocktails (like my Ol Smokey Old Fashioned) at reasonable rices. Bought a bottle of Jim Bridger to take with us on our travels.

Fantastic place to grab a drink and sample local spirits. We tried flights of agave & bourbon/whiskey which were fun to try! My favorites were bobcat and the bourbon cream, and I also enjoyed the hot today with cinnamon with cinnamon whiskey.

Outstanding drinks and service! We returned during our visit just because we enjoyed it so much! Definitely recommend a visit or two!

I got a tasting flight which I really enjoyed, trying all the different spirits they make. Then got a Bloody Mary. Like the best Bloody Mary EVER! They make their own mix and put a bunch of pickled veggies in. It was so good. Only problem is, couldn't order a second one because of the two drink limit! Bozeman liquor laws. Next time I will not get the flight so I can get two Bloody Mary's. SO GOOD. The Huckleberry vodka is really good that they distill here, bought some to bring home. They do all the distilling on site so it is kind of fun to check out the operation.

Best place ever for a drink and a good long visit with friends! Stop at this place every time we come to Bozo...

This is a good place for a couple drinks although you can only have a maximum of two per day here. This distillery produces multiple types of vodka, multiple whiskeys, gin, and rum so there's a huge variety of cocktails that use those spirits here. This is located right on Main Street so it's perfectly situated in the downtown area. My first drink was the huckleberry press ($8) which was refreshing. It has actual muddled huckleberries in the drink however it does make it harder to drink through the straw if a berry gets stuck. My second drink was the lavender lady old fashioned ($9) which is a lot more spirit forward than the first drink but still very easy to drink from the sweetness of the muddled orange and the lavender. They also serve flights if you prefer those over cocktails to taste the individual spirits.

Super friendly staff! There is a 2 drink limit per person per day but that's ok in my opinion!! Drinks were very flavorful (had the Painkiller and the Huckleberry Lemondrop). Drinks are very well priced and my group thought their mojitos were delish! Will definitely come back!

We ended up having the nachos and the oysters. The oysters were good. The nachos were OK. The drinks were also very underwhelming. My son had a Paloma and I have tasted way way better. Service was good. Everyone was friendly and answered all of our questions. I usually don't haunt hotel bars but I had a F&B credit and I read really good reviews about this place, so we decided to come in and check it out. We sat at the bar and that was a great idea. The bartender was friendly and made us laugh a lot. She was also very good at her job and made us some excellent cocktails. We ordered from the cocktail menu, but she was ready to make whatever you wanted, except for a Captain and Mountain Dew because unfortunately they don't have Mountain Dew at the hotel. And don't worry, it wasn't me ordering that. Not that I'd shame anyone for their cocktail choices but the gentleman and lady next to us had some interesting combinations they wanted to order. We also ordered the carrot cake pops. Man those were good too. We contemplated coming in the next day for some more. We liked them that much. The ambiance of this rooftop bar is also fantastic. It's large and decorated really well but the piece de resistance was the outside and the views of Downtown Bozeman. The cozy fire pits and comfy seating were very appealing. I only wish we didn't stroll in from our hotel room and wore more clothes so we could have sat out there the whole time. Oh well, there's always next time.

We came at the end of someone's set and it wasn't that crowded in the bar but almost every single table was dirty, with empty glasses on them. There seemed to be one bartender and another person helping. That person literally just stood there talking to people instead of cleaning up the tables. The bartender was pretty rude too and didn't seem to be into working here at all. The only clean table was by the door and it kept getting opened while the next band set up so we just moved to a table with dirty glassware on it. The drinks were pretty lackluster (especially compared to the awesome ones upstairs). I don't think it was that the menu was inferior to the other, I just think the bartender didn't care. Both my drinks were watered down and icy. Pretty sad for the price to be honest. It got pretty crowded for the second set being played so we decided to leave to let other people sit. To start, we waited on a Wednesday night for a couple minutes to be sat in a nearly empty restaurant. We ended up sitting at the bar (hoping the service would be best with an attentive bar tender), and began evaluating the menu. This dinner was a business meal with a client. My client ordered the chicken, and I had settled on the steak tartare. I was anticipating to purchase a bottle of wine and located exactly the wine that would pair amazingly, it was a gamay from the Willamette Valley. The waiter told me as I ordered that the steak tartare was small and would be a poor meal choice. After taking his advice, I still desired the gamay and settle for the Rabbit Roulade dish. The server then informed me that he believed that dish was sold out. He returned to tell me that the kitchen was out of that dish, and they had been for some time. Now I was left searching the menu struggling to find an option. I landed on the sweet potato gnocchi. I ordered the Gamay, and the server seemed to have no idea what that wine was. I handed them the menu and pointed it out. The server and bartender stepped away for a couple minutes as they stood at the end of the bar frantically looking in the wine cabinet. They returned to tell me they were also out of the wine I ordered. They then tried to sell me some other wines, but I decided I would rather just do cocktails since that was the only gamay on the menu and there were no burgundy/Beaujolais options. The food came out, and thankfully it was good and had great flavor. This was the only redeeming quality. I immediately asked for an order of cornbread since the sauce was good and demanded a bread to properly clean the plate. I slowed down my eating to enjoy the meal but also to allow the cornbread to come out. It took 25-30min before the server came back, and when I asked about it they went to check. They returned to inform me that the kitchen had made a cornbread but it didn't turn out good, so they were "re-firing" another. At about 40 minutes after the order the cornbread had arrived. My client had finished his meal, an I had finished all but a pool of sauce on my plate. Sadly, due to the time my plate sat idle and the sauce cooled, the sauce separated and split into a mix of butter and oil. This rendered the delivered bread useless for the intended reason for the order. The cornbread tasted okay, but with my meal or within twenty minutes would have been much better. The server and bartender did not check on us besides the aforementioned encounters. Again, the food was good. Based on the times and my own experience as a server, the cornbread I believe was never entered into the computer. The times did not match up for how fast the supposed second order came out in a restaurant with five other patrons in it. Between being out of food, out of wine, and the cornbread fiasco it was not a good business meal or look for an out of state visitor. I tried to be gracious, but again, from my experience as a server left me thinking a drink ($6 beer) or the cornbread may be waived given then totality of the circumstances.... Nothing happened. I was charged for all items and spent $101. I am a 25-30% tipper normally. Tonight I left $10... 10%. That was only because the food flavor was good, and the kitchen deserved that whole tip. If this was a date night, I would have not tipped at all. My 10% tip will be a 0% tip going forward for this establishment, as I will not return again. Order this food takeout, and hope they have what you want or move on. That's my opinion, because service is not good either. I found myself apologizing to my client, and that is an awful place to be. My client even commented, "I'm shocked you tipped and were that kind". When I explained the reason was for food quality he quipped, "yeah but that tip won't go to the kitchen like it should." That is not the conversation I want with a client after a business dinner!

Some parts were better than others though. I'll start with appetizers. We ordered oysters and a baguette. The oysters were good but I found the mignonette lacking flavor. There was nothing special about the baguette. We were given two options for compound butter and asked if we could try both. The sweeter of the two options was better and we were charged for the second. My husband and I both ordered ribeyes with chimichurri for our entrees. Both steaks were overcooked and not at all tender. We've had better at more affordable restaurants. I ordered the "Boss Nova" cocktail, the flavors were okay for the most part but it was severely watered down. My husband ordered the non-alcoholic "Cream Dream" and had the same response. The dessert was definitely the star of the show. We opted for the Banana Tarte Tatin and Kladdkaka. It was definitely the highlight of the entire meal. Food aside, the restaurant was a little noisy, which was to be expected. The part of the experience we primarily found lacking was the service.
