Lots of cocktail options from gin and vodka drinks to classic whiskey cocktails. Deducted one star bc I wasn't impressed with the booze. Flavors weren't anything to write home about. Ask any of my friends, and they'll tell you I love my adult beverages. Beer is normally my game, but I secretly (or maybe not so secretly) enjoy craft spirits almost as much. And Bozeman Spirits really knocked it out of the park. Brought my brother here as part of a bachelor event the day before his wedding, and everyone had a great time. The bartender (owner?) was masterful, handling our large group and then some. He took us all through a tasting of several of their spirits, tailoring the offerings to each person's taste. I'm normally not a flavored vodka fan, but their huckleberry vodka is so unique and well crafted that it was hard to not buy a bottle. What I did buy was their gin, which is so smooth and focused more on the botanicals than the juniper, which I prefer and struggle to find. A really versatile, pleasing gin. The regular vodka and 1889 whiskey were both pleasant too. Equally impressive were the cocktails we had after the tasting. My Huck Smash was well balanced - not too sweet, but not too watery or boozy. Really well crafted. They do several Bloody Marys that people enjoyed as well. Everyone noted how great their drinks were. The bartender wished everyone well and gave some witty advice to my brother. He took a pic of the group, and even gifted a hat to my brother. Really just an all around wonderful experience. Will definitely be back if we're in Bozeman...especially after I drink all my gin. read more

Great staff, casual place to get a drink. I like that the music and sound isn't so out of control that you can't actually have a conversation. Love the Whiskey/Ginger, with candied ginger. I have been going here for years and I've never had a problem. I definitely suggest the huckleberry lemonade. Fun tasting room, so no drinks after 8, but it does open at 10 if you can not wait for a whiskey taste (I am vodka lover, not a whiskey fan, but my husband loves a good old fashioned). Decor is tasteful and there are tables as well as a long bar. It is a fun place to hang out, but there is no food other than a spicy peanut mix to help you enjoy the inspired taste of huckleberry vodka. Try the vodka in a mojito or the press which is loaded with real huckleberries. The vodka, whiskey, and gin are distilled on site, and the whiskey is so good my husband bought a bottle. Amazing!! I seriously can't say enough good things about this place. My husband and I went back several times in our 5 day trip because we loved it so much. Every staff member we met was super friendly and knowledgeable. Every drink we tried was delicious. I think the favorites were the Snowmelt and the Huckleberry Press but really none of them were bad so there's no way to go wrong. Also their merch was awesome- we bought several prints and clothing and mini bottles as gifts. Covid wise, there was hand sanitizer as we walked in and on every table and all of the tables were far apart so we felt really safe. I loved the huckleberries and mint swimming around in the drink because they looked cool... but they weren't cool when they got in the way of my straw trying suck up the booze. I was so excited to check this place out but the staff was mostly awful. I went in around 6:45pm-ish and the whole staff was drunk and hanging out with friends around a table (also loud and drunk). Very rude and seemed annoyed about having patrons. My waitress seemed incredibly irritated and told us immediately that last call was 7:30 and they close at 8. I asked about the speciality liquors and got a "look it up" response to it essentially. The drinks were just ok and on my way out I asked for 2 pours of whiskey and got a heavy sigh followed by shot or sip because I need to know what to pour it in. Bozeman Spirits Distillery is a must-see stop if you are in the area. It is located in Bozeman's historic district. When you step inside the distillery doors you feel like you have stepped into Bozeman's past. The distillery is located in an old saloon that is very welcoming. When we entered two staff members behind the bar gave us the distillery's full story. They were very friendly and informative. At the back of the saloon, you can peer into the production space and see their two stills. An Artisan 300 Gallon Traditional Copper Pot Still, and an Arnold Holstein Copper Pot Still. The Distillery produces Whiskey, Vodka, Gin & Rum with all of the spirits distilled and bottled on site. You can enjoy a signature craft cocktail or a flight of their spirits. We tried a sampling of their spirits. I loved their huckleberry-infused vodka and gin. Their gin was a stand out for me. Very well done. We bought a bottle to take home. Unfortunately, that bottle never made it out of the RV we rented. We forgot it under the seat! I hope someone enjoyed it. Their website says they will be selling in Texas soon. I hope so! There was a live singer when we were in there and the young woman had an amazing voice. The bartender was fantastic and friendly. Overall atmosphere and drinks were great. I haven't written a review on Yelp for years but felt compelled to do so after my last experience at this place. I tried to contact the owners so I could just email them but apparently they are as bad at social media as their bartenders are at customer service. My wife, two friends, and I came in the Friday before Valentines Day. It was packed and the time was 7:35. They close at 8:00. We luckily secured a table and had our drinks ordered by 7:40. After waiting for 10 minutes our waitress comes over and says: "The bartender looked at you guys and she doesn't think you can finish your drinks before 8:00 so she's not going to make them for you. Sorry, but we are about to call 'Last Call'." Excuse me? You won't serve us drinks, however, you are still going to call 'Last Call'? I couldn't even believe it. I don't think I've ever been to a place, especially in Bozeman, that blatantly refused to offer anyone service when it was still in their power to do so. I can understand if we walked in at 7:55 but we had plenty of time to receive our drinks from a competent bartender. I have been here a few times before this and it was always mediocre, but that's the only reason for the extra star.
