Great place to relax, sip good supplies, and hear music. The only issue I had was with the wait service. My card was run incorrectly and was overcharged by a lot of money. However, after discovering the charge on my account I went and spoke with Aaron, the manager. He did due-diligence and called me later to let me know he'd take care of it! He was so professional and super friendly. In todays world that means a lot!

I've always had an affinity for hotel bars so I was excited to check this place out. This bar is located in the basement of The Armory hotel in downtown Bozeman which made it convenient to stop by for my nightcap. To get to the bar walk into the hotel and then take the elevator to the basement. My first drink was the sun dogs ($14) which is slightly sweet and the St. Germain elderflower is the big flavor I taste. My second drink was the blackhole sun ($16) which is slightly sweet and bitter from the averna. Given the average price for cocktails in the Bozeman area all their cocktails are slightly on the pricier side but the cocktails themselves were good and unique. They also have live music occasionally although I missed seeing it as I stopped by at 11pm. Overall the vibe of the bar was great and I definitely loved the lounge feel. It's a great place to hang out and listen to some music even if you're not staying at the hotel.

After hearing that this was the spot for live jazz on Wednesdays we arrived a little after 8 and caught the last 20 minutes of some extremely talented singer songwriters doing a special party for the Gibson team. We were able to get a table with a great view of the band and the musicians were very good. Grace, our server was fantastic, the drinks were on point. We closed the joint and took an Uber back to the Sapphire Motel. The falling snow made for a spectacular end to a perfect evening.

So many great cocktails

Our party of 4 ate here for our first meal in Montana. The place is much bigger inside than how it…read morelooked outside. When we came in at around 4pm, there seemed to be plenty of tables available but after an hour, the place quickly filled up. Vibes/Service: Parking lot in the back and it seemed there was some street parking available as well. Many, many tables available with bar seating as well. It can certainly fit a larger group. Great service from our server. Checked on us often and filled up our waters. Food: Because it was our first meal here, we wanted to try out their staple dishes. -Bison Potstickers ($16): 5 pieces topped with mango and garlic chili sauce and served with some coleslaw. Rich and filling, paired well with the sauce. Would order this again! -Bison Patty Melt ($22): it was my first time eating Bison, the waiter suggested medium rare. It looked more red than I usually like but it actually was juicy and tasty-- I guess this is the difference between a regular beef patty. I'd also order this again. -Served with pepper parmesan fries which was so uniquely food. Fries were fresh. -Huckleberry Cream Ale ($8/pint) paired well with my meal.

Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite of what I expected. We were seated quickly on a Monday evening, and our server let us know she was new, which we completely understood since we both work in the service industry. Ordering was simple--my friend mentioned an apple allergy, and we each made straightforward requests. There was a slightly odd moment where the server said she couldn't ring in my friend's order a certain way because the kitchen would "make fun of her," but we brushed it off. Things really went downhill when the food arrived. Both meals were completely wrong. When the food was dropped off (by someone other than our server), there was a snarky comment referencing the apple allergy, which was uncomfortable. We sent the food back, expecting a quick fix--but it came out wrong again. And then a third time. At that point, we were honestly shocked. I've never had an order come out incorrectly three times in a row. Eventually, a manager brought the food out correctly, but there was no real apology for the repeated mistakes. Our server explained it was the kitchen's fault, but it was frustrating that no one double-checked the orders before bringing them out each time. The whole experience ended up taking over two hours, which felt excessive given how simple the order was. We also felt that, given the circumstances, some kind of comp or acknowledgment would have been appropriate, but nothing was offered. Overall, it was a really disappointing and honestly embarrassing experience--especially after talking the place up so much beforehand.

He sat at the bar since we were only going to get some appetizers and drinks. I really did love the decor. It was gothy but overwhelming. I did like that they had some non-alcoholic options. However, the most appealing one had strawberries in it, and they were out of them. They were also out of the tacos, which was a little surprising since we got there an hour after they opened. We ended up having the nachos and the oysters. The oysters were good. The nachos were OK. The drinks were also very underwhelming. My son had a Paloma and I have tasted way way better. Service was good. Everyone was friendly and answered all of our questions. This is a really cool place to come and hang out with some friends, but it's more about the atmosphere than it is really the food and drinks.

The Devil's Toboggan EXCEEDED our expectations. We found this "randomly" and decided to go because of the prohibition vibes. The second you walk into the Toboggan, you step back in time. We were immediately greeted and sat at the bar. We ordered an old fashion and Huckleberry Lemon Drop (recommend both). Honestly, I don't think it matters what you order...it's going to be good. Let's talk about the customer service. A+ ladies and gents! We ended up having a great conversation with the bar back and other patrons which topped off the experience. P.S. if you like deviled eggs, get them. They are delicious, especially if they still have the ones with the sausage. #drool
