Manon is one of the newest Thai eateries in OC and is now in soft opening. To get here, you are going to want to look for the Wood Cafe Thai Cuisine sign and that is where Manon is setting up shop. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Wifey and I stopped by today for lunch with some friends and there was no wait time. Inside, they have a nice charming ambiance with about 7-8 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a great selection of different appetizers, salads, soups, curries, noodles, and rice dishes. We opted to try the Crab Fried Rice, Roasted Duck Curry, and Pad Thai with Chicken. Everything that we had tasted authentic, comforting, and delicious! Overall, I can tell that this spot will definitely become a favorite in the Fullerton area for many people. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Came across this place in one of my Yelp emails and decided to check them out. They just opened January 1st. I came on the last day of their BOGO promo where you order an entree and get one free. Such a great deal and opportunity to try their dishes. I called and ordered their pad see ewe, Tom Ka Kai, pineapple fried rice and Panama curry. Wait time was longer than I thought for take out but understandable since it was the last day for their promo. Place was simple, open space, and warm. Food: my family enjoyed the pineapple fried rice the most. Packed with 3 proteins and flavor. The pad see ewe was decent but I would have preferred it with beef. They currently do not serve any beef dishes. The Tom ka kai was not as sour as I had hoped and a bit too sweet. Panama curry was delicious. What we ordered for 2 people, and it was plenty! -Clear Noodle Salad with shrimp and ground chicken - I was very confused that this dish was warm noodles because I was looking forward to it being a cold refreshing salad to balance out the dishes we ordered. It's a bit strong flavor wise, but very good. Cold leftovers the next day tasted even better. -Duck Curry was very unique. The duck itself was thinly sliced and was not overcooked. The pineapple chunks are HUGE and wished that they gave more curry to the dish to even out the amount of topping in this dish. -Chinese broccoli kept well with the sauce, but the sauce was a bit too saucy and salty, and I love me some sauceeeee. Overall, the flavors of the food were strong for me (personal opinion!), but the concept of the dishes was executed very well! I love how the dishes are pleasing to the eye and there are so many variety of additions to each dish. They have creative things on the menu that I've never heard before and many dishes I've heard or tried at other thai spots. If I'm ever back in the area, I would love to try a few other dishes. Highly recommend if you're look for some authentic flavorful Thai food!!! Located between Carls Jr and Autozone, there is ample parking in the lot. The decor inside is gorgeous and all the severs are so warm and welcoming (including the owner!) I love Thai food and we've tried tons of places. Manon is definitely one of my top choices!! Lots of fresh Thai spices in all the dishes so you know it's legit!! The drunken noodle is a must try with their whole peppercorn. We also really enjoyed the Phuket Thai Tea and papaya salad. The seafood tom yum soup had ample amounts of seafood including fish filet which was a nice surprise. Most places are not as generous. This used to be another Thai restaurant I've been to before but now it's changed. I like the new decor and the menu options Manon has is better because they have more variety and explain it very well. I came to try out the Thai tea flight since I never really saw one before. I didn't know there were that many Thai tea variants and I was so glad to be able to try the flight for a taste of each making it so worth it. Every tea tastes different but delicious. I also ordered a khao soi to try because I love having khao soi. The soup is very flavorful and it tastes perfect but the noodles are on the thicker side. I prefer thinner noodles and I think it would've made the dish better if it was slightly thinner. It could also use some more chicken but overall not a bad take. I think I found one of my new favorite Thai places - new local gem that showed up. From the moment you walk in, you get the feeling you're in an authentic Thai place - it's so comfy and the setting is so pretty! I wish I took a picture of my food, but I got a stir fried glass noodles filled with veggies and it was yummy! Then the mango sticky rice, my friend even said she hasn't had a sweet mango like that in a while! Lastly, and obviously most importantly, our server, Kenna, was helpful and made us feel at home. Noticed this new Thai spot on my Yelp feed. The restaurant is quite close to CSU Fullerton and plenty of parking for customers. The inside has a minimalist, classy aesthetic paired along with some Thai decorations and the friendlt staff. My sister and I opted for their Chicken Pad Thai, Khao Soi, Phuket Thai Tea, Bangkok Thai Tea, and Crying Tiger. The Pad Thai was nothing really special. However, the Khao Soi, Phuket Thai Tea, and Crying Tiger blew me away. The food had great flavor and texture, while the drinks had a great tea intensity. Tried this new Thai restaurant. They were pretty packed and busy. Luckily we had a reservation. Ordered two different types of Papaya salad (Lao and Thai), the Thai tea flight, chicken pad Thai, Thai fried rice, Thom Kha soup, and fried fish. Each dish was delicious but the star was the soup. Nice coconut flavors mixed with large shrimps! We all preferred the Thai papaya salad over the Lao. The Laos one tasted a little more sour and fishy than the Thai. The only negative was that they were so busy that they forgot one of our salads until the very end and they kept asking if we were finished using the spice tray because they only had three available. read more

Enjoyed a hearty Thai lunch starting with the grilled pork jowl appetizer (delicious by itself and also with the spicy dipping sauce), and the Mama noodle hot pot and duck curry for the mains. The hot pot had lots of sea food and a tangy lemon grass broth. The duck curry was really yummy! The Thai tea flight has 4 of their varieties of tea, two more traditional Thai tea and two flavored with fruit. The Phuket tea was the most striking to me with a deep roasted tea flavor. The staff is incredibly attentive and made sure we were well-attended to. The restaurant is popular and lively but not too loud to be distracting. Will definitely be back! read more

I'm a big fan of egg rolls so we figured we'd try them out here. We usually don't get appetizers at restaurants but I'm glad we did this time. They were yummy and the sauce was nice and sweet too (not overly). My husband got the pad see ew. He loved it and finished it all. I got the pad thai and daaaamn that was delicious. Seemed very lightly fried but not enough flavor for me. The hotpot is good to share. I wouldnt recommend ordering it solely for yourself as it is pretty big. Me and my friend have try this place multiple times. I usually go during lunch so there's often no wait time. The food is delicious this is my favorite Thai spot, I don't have a picture of the Khao Soi but I highly recommend trying it out. It is creamy and fatty flavour. I have tried other Khap Soi at different places but this is still the best one. The coconut ice cream is also top-notch not too sweet and has a strong coconut flavor to it. My family of 30 was in town for a baptism celebration, and I was feeling pretty stressed trying to find a restaurant--especially an Asian one--that could accommodate such a large group on a weekend. My husband mentioned that Manon had just opened, so I stopped by on a Saturday evening to pick up a to-go menu. The restaurant was packed, and the food looked absolutely delicious! The space is super charming--modern, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The next day, I contacted them and spoke with Kevin, one of the owners. He was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions. He even followed up a few days before our event to make sure everything was on track and to see if I needed anything else. On the day of the celebration, we arrived an hour early, and they still managed to seat us right away. And let me tell you--for being in a "soft opening" phase, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and truly on top of everything. My family couldn't stop raving about how delicious the food was. Every dish tasted fresh, full of flavor, and incredibly authentic--easily one of the best Thai dining experiences we've had! We all left with full hearts and even fuller stomachs.
