We used to come here a lot before they got "big" and it used to be amazing. Great food, great people, great vibes. We went last night and all of a sudden they have started doing $10 cover charges for people to get in, wouldn't accept cash for a cover charge. It used to be a fantastic hookah bar but it's not my style anymore. I am pretty disappointed about the cover charge just because if you're going to already pay for food, drink, cigars, hookah, and other miscellaneous things I feel like a cover charge is over the top and extreme. The people running the counter and changing out the coals for the hookah were great and very attentive. The security guards were definitely a little weird. Unfortunately we will be looking for other hookah bars to frequent that don't have weird security guards, or cover charges- which sucks because we used to really love coming to mangos and supporting the business. read more

So this is my go to for hookah bars. So they have an outdoor area, the general area and then an area in the back which is more personal. They offer chargers at all the table areas located by the wall so you can charge your devices which is pretty cool. The wait time to receive your hookah is pretty fast around 10mins. They offer food, drinks and dessert. There house tea is amazing. I ordered a pot of it after they offered a glass on the house (free.) it was so good I had to buy more. Ever since getting a liquor license they have been closing at 1am. However, they will still allow patrons to come in and get hookahs around 12:50 then kick them out right at 1. I should have looked at their updated hours as they have to adhere to the laws. But I have been coming here for the past 10 years and was still treated like trash. Also, do not get cocktails, they are way diluted. Stick to beer. read more

It has been many years since I patroned a hookah bar. After having a great night my friend Aly and I decided to visit this place to check it out since it was super close to High Street Brewing where we'd just had a great meal and some brews. Upon entering, we were telling the two gals at the front a story, and we didn't know what we wanted After maybe 5 minutes of talking the man in charge comes out and starts belittling the gals we had been chatting with telling them two serve people and to get the line moving. Mind you, there was probably over 70% of the bar vacant at this point and when we had gotten in line there was no one in line with us. So we turn to look behind us and there were two people who we told to go ahead because we didn't know what we wanted to order. One girl cops an attitude with my friend and starts yelling, to which her friend says oh no it's okay you guys are fine you can go ahead. So the man then rudely says move out of line or order something. We look back and say we don't know what we want and the man again rudely tells us to hurry up and move out of the way. So we both get pissed and are just like this is some BS. May have had some choice words for that A-Hole, but definitely was not a good experience. 5 minutes later as were discussing this experience outside, the two gals who were in the hookah bar behind us in line come out yelling something as well. Clearly that guy does not know how to keep customers (at all) happy. Lol read more

Encouraged by promising words by the business owner I once again tried the hookah place on Tuesday. I am very sorry to write again a bad review. I understand it was a weekday but if the place says its open till 4 am all week it is supposed to serve customers properly all week till 4 am and its not only weekends. I was there at close to 1 am and they said they don't have tea coz its closing time!! Again inexperienced staff. I asked them about the flavor which is strong and once again the only thing they answer is double apple. I told them I have had them before and would try anything new. I have tried a bit of hookah in the past, but what made Mango's great was how well the management and staff just made us feel welcome. We came with returning friends as our first time. Had our hookah and relaxed. Two hours into the time the manager came our, greeted us, and made the night amazing Lyle told us about a combination that he recommended for the future and then brought us out some complimentary mint tea. Along with the tea he brought out a $30 hookah setup with a Lotus, the combination he recommended, and all as compliments of the house. Visited for the first time with a bachelorette party recently. Great hookah, great customer service, and a good vibe. The indoor and outdoor space has music, but it's soft enough to be able to easily hear the people you're with, which is really appreciated. The outdoor patio was clean, and has a lot of cell phone chargers for androids and iPhones, which I was impressed by! The bathrooms were very clean. The hookah was about $18 for the five of us, and came with individual mouthpieces. They accept all major credit cards. I think food is available, but we didn't order any. I do wish complimentary water would have been offered, but I'd definitely visit Mango's again. read more

Prices are on par with or even a bit cheaper than what I'm used to paying at surrounding hookah lounges depending on the menu item. Went here for the first time tonight. Very impressed with the price. Got watermelon hookah, soda, and a snack for less than 15, counting a refill they didn't seem to charge us for. Atmosphere is nothing fancy, but it wasn't sketchy like some similar establishments. They also offer a reward card - 10 hookahs, get a free one! I was visiting a friend in Ohio and the topic of having hookah came up. Apparently this being his favorite spot: I found myself here on a Friday night. The service? Wonderful, fast, and most helpful. The staff including the owner takes their time to recommend flavors, and most importantly to make sure your experience is a great one. The hookah is good, I have had terrible hookah before and this is not even close to those experiences. A pleasant surprise. Lastly the ambience? It's decent. Def not a place designed to appeal aesthetically -- its not a "pretty" place -- but for functionality which is fine. But the couches are cozy. I like this place. Many PLUSES: Much more room compared to other hookah lounges I have been to. I like that the lighting is a not too dim - I also didn't think it was "bright". Obviously not Gypsys-Cafe-dark. I went with a group of friends, but arrived about 10 minutes after them, thus they had already order the hookah. Looking back, the price was reasonable, considering the good service and quality of the tabacco. It being a Saturday night, around 11:30, they were able to get a table in the back, additional, room. The hookah (I can't remember the flavor - it had a menthal, cool taste to it), was great, and I actually felt the effects of this (as opposed to other establishments around Columbus I have been to). I was told their smoothies are very good, thus I tried their mango. Verdict: Satisfying. Not overly sugared, could taste the true mango sweetness, yet a hint of under-ripeness/tang. The gentleman that came around to change our coals was polite. And the MUSIC! It was Indian pop/dance music - I enjoyed the tunes! The volume was high enough to hear the words/beats, but perfect so no one had to raise their voice or yell to their neighbor. I really wanted to like it more here, but I think there are other spots I like better. With that said, I think the prices are really good compared to other places. With that being said though, I don't understand their parking lot situation or who they share a lot with, but people were literally being towed left and right. Having lived and worked in/around campus since 2009, I'm used to parking being somewhat sketchy and terrifying because even if you park in the correct area, you still might come back and find that your car is missing even if you thought you could park in that area. So. I had a bad feeling and told my friend I felt like we should go even though I thought I was parked correctly in their lot. It was good timing because I came out as the car next to mine was being towed. I think there needs to be more signage and clarification on what will and will not get you towed. I know it wasn't Mangos having people towed, but someone was having them towed and I'm not sure why. I have never had a good experience at this hookah place! I have been several times and have found just about everything lacking. They have a 3 coal limit, which is not nearly enough if the bowl is packed correctly and the coals are properly taken care of. But maybe it's appropriate for this establishment because they either way overpack or don't put nearly enough tobacco in their bowls. Then to add insult to injury I have actively watched the staff coming out with new coals for customers and have yet to have mine replaced unprompted, I've always had to walk to the counter to ask. I will however say i love their cheese pies, they're quite delicious. And they are the only hookah bar I know in Columbus that has outlets readily available everywhere for the customers. But it's not worth it to spend your money there. read more

I've been to most of the hookah bars in Columbus, and Mangos is definitely my favorite. Good hookah, clean pipes, good (reasonably priced) food, and most of all excellent customer service. Between the couches and the tables you can go to relax, work, or play games! They consistently play good club music and have a great ambience. But the service ultimately is the reason I will always come back. The owners are nice, personable, and genuinely interested in making personal connections with their guests. He has a wide assortment, some of which have LED lights. Once my friends and I ordered a flavor that none of us liked (who knew that Double Apple would be licorice flavored?) and he kindly replaced our hookah flavor free of charge for the misunderstanding. If you are a hookah lover like me, this is a great place to come and just chill. With many varieties of flavors and different sized hookahs to choose from you are in for a night of relaxing with friends or focusing on some Fracebook browsing. Inside the environment is awesome with great decorative hookahs and a really cool hookah fountain. For $25 I was able to pick up a hookah, Raspberry Mint flavor, a "4 cup pot" of Sage tea (held easily 15 cups), a plate of hummus with pita and a bowl of mixed nuts. GREAT deal!!! On the hookah side it was great because you can mix and match flavors and the waiters came around to frequently change your coal to keep your going for as long as your flavor lasts. Hummus was great ($3) for a personal sized plate of hummus with some pita bread. The hummus was HEAVY and thick which is not my favorite but the flavor was on point. The pita was way to thick and dense for my liking as well, but for $3 as a nice snack with my hookah, i'm cool with it! read more

Tried going to this place because some of my colleagues had referred me. The place didn't seem sanitary. Kind of looks outdated. Compared to newer modern hookah places I'm used to. The staff is basically white trash girls... it was okay. If you are looking for hookah, this place has really good options, but the only problem was they were really light and its hard to get the flavour. We tried the peach and the paan. The best part is the crowd, the desserts and the tea that they serve. All this adds on to the great experience. We enjoyed our time expect in between when some guy from the street came to our table and sat next to us and took our hookah.
