I was very disappoited with my order of Sweet and Sour Shrimp and Crabmeat Rangoon. Neither were these like anything I had ever gotten before at any other chinese resturaunt. The so-called, sweet and sour shrimp was disgusting. There were about six shrimp that where heavily battered and way over cooked that had no flavor sitting on top of a bed of fried rice, what the Hell ? All other chinese locations, and I'm talking about dozens at least, have ten to twelve boiled shrimp mixed with various vegetables in a wonderful sweet and sour sauce poured over a bed of pork fried rice, much like sweet and sour beef, or pork, very delicious, but not here. Madarin Wok's was so bad I ended peeling the hard brown coating off the shrimp, and eating them and the fried rice only. I will never visit this place again. The way I see it, they owe me a refund of $13 for that combo meal since the egg roll was way overcooked also, and very chewy and tasteless, and $8 for the lousy crabmeat rangoon. As far as the Crabmeat Rangoon goes, it was the worst & strangest, I have ever had. It did not resemble any I had been served at any of the other dozens of chinese resturaunts I have frequented. They were totally undercooked and way over filled with cream cheese that was extremely tasteless. A total rip-off for $8. I spent a total of $39 for two of us to eat and it sucked badly. Never again ! There are too many other chinese places in the Savannah that are excellent. Unfortunately, at the time I was on Skidaway Island, and this place was very conveniently located, so I went there. I am angry that they advertise and sell dishes that they have no idea how to prepare and cheat customers like me out of our money. Do yourselves a favor, drive a little further to get some good chinese food and get your monies worth. read more

Just getting into town and decided we needed some takeout. Stopped by the store and saw this spot. We ordered egg rolls, hot and sour soup, and beef and chicken Hunan. Definitely a take out only place. Limited seating. The hot and sour soup was very good. Lots of tofu and finely diced veggies. The egg rolls were good. I liked the beef Hunan better than the chicken. A lot of meat with both orders and vegetables. Pretty good food and quick service on the takeout. read more

A small, take out place with moderate prices and great Mandarin and other styles of Chinese Food. Generous portions, the freshest broccoli always. They didn't survive the pandemic and more for no reason. The Mrs.' English isn't as good as her husband's and can come across abrupt, even rude sometimes. She is actually very nice and appreciative. If you ever have a problem with the food, just let them know. They'll make it right. Be sure to specify what size order you want if there is a choice. Most orders are ready in 10 minutes. Enjoy! Went to this place and the owner was cleaning the back wall of the kitchen using a wok filled with hot water as he dipped a brush into the wok. Looked kinda odd, I should have walked out, but decided to order some food since it was late. Well, to my surprise I don't know how the place is open, bland food yuk. This was not a good experience for us. The place was not air conditioned and it was at least 100 degrees inside. Food was bland and very tasteless, inedible. Sticky floor and walls. So sorry to say not recommended. We were so disappointed, as on vacation. A food inspector needs to investigate, as the most recent inspection was back in 2015. read more

Having moved to Savannah in late 2018 from the Northeast we have been seeking out good Chinese food. Well, we feel we finally landed a great take-out! For starters the WonTon soup had a rich broth, 6 wontons, match stick slices of pork and chinese cabbage. We both ordered the General Tsao's Chicken that was perfectly cooked, ample sauce, fresh broccoli and well seasoned rice. I would give 0 stars if I could. This was the worst Chinese food we have EVER had. We are not that picky but we found most of the food inedible. The fried wontons had a very strange flavor (both the meat and the wrapper), the sweet and sour pork was tough inside a doughy wrapper, the beef and pea pods was very bland and tasteless, as was the vegetable lo mein. They gave us some free crab Rangoon which was filled with a pudding-like texture. Ugh... $25 down the drain. And did I mention the floor was very sticky and the walls dirty. I came here in search of some good Chinese food since all of the buffets nearby have turned to crap, and honestly, this place has been awesome. Just a small pick-up place in a strip mall, but the food has been great. The prices seem a bit high, but the portions are generous and I can get several meals from just one or two items, so I think it's on par with anywhere else as far as cost. They are fast and never get my order wrong, which is usually many different things. They are very close to my house, so that's an added bonus for me.
