This is a nice little bakery and coffee shop right off Yonge and centre. The folks that run the place are super nice, friendly and patient with questions. I liked that the pastries are not overly sweet but full of flavour. Will buy again and try some other stuff. The inside is very comfortable with seating and tables. I would recommend giving them a try. It will be a change of pace for sure from the run of the mill stuff that's available out there. We enjoy Ted the espresso and green team tiny puffs the most.

Their main location is in Mississauga, and they expanded to North York a few years ago. Service is nice and cheerful, making you feel quite welcome. I like their drink selection that has some interesting things like black sesame latte, tiramisu latte, and grapefruit tea. Their dessert select is good too, with things big and small. Their rolls and cakes are excellent, with plenty of cream, not too sweet. The cakes are beautifully glazed and decorated. The sweet potato cake is fluffy and light. The mont blanc has a nice chestnutty flavour, but is a bit too sweet for my liking. At the moment, they are selling Korean dubai chewy cookies, but we'll see how long this fad lasts...

But she was right LOL. It was really good, and it was even better than the desserts at the restaurant we had dinner at that night. We cut the 6" cheesecake into 12 small pieces, and it was perfect for a sweet little treat at the end of our meal :) The staff were courteous and ready to help. It was quite busy even on a Saturday evening around 6pm. There are also tables inside the shop for dining in. Other than whole cakes, they do have slices of cakes available and other mini desserts + a lot of macarons! We did request the shop to write HBD on the cake, but the staff said they are unable to do it at this location (not sure why, maybe don't have the proper tools?). We also tried asking for a candle; we ended up having to buy a pack of 6 candles at the shop :\

This French patisserie is mind-blowing, and reminiscent of the best patisseries in Montréal and Paris. We ordered the chocolatines, the cheesecake and the spanakopita. The service is consistently warm, and the pastry case is hard to resist. We've tried many of their cakes, and the blackcurrant queen cake is hands down our favorite--tart, elegant, and just sweet enough. Their salted caramel croissant is beautifully laminated and filled with just the right amount of caramel. In fact, their croissants across the board are solid--flaky, tender, and buttery without being greasy. The sourdough bread is excellent, and the espresso drinks are reliably strong and well-crafted. It may look like Paris inside, but don't let that inspire your inner Francophile--the staff are lovely, but no one's following your French. Still, this is the kind of place that keeps regulars coming back. We're definitely among them.

It was $2.20 each or $6.50 for 3. The staff spoke Cantonese to me and was very friendly. The inside was like your typical Chinese bakery. They didn't have any seating but it's right next to the food court in Centerpoint mall. I felt like the black sesame mochi was just decent. I prefer a softer mochi and these were definitely more firm and was kind of lacking in filling. The first and last bite had no filling at all. I'm not sure if I would come back again for these but if I am in the area, I will come try the mango mochi. They also sell other Chinese desserts and buns but none of it looked too interesting to me except their fresh mango cake. It looked quite decent. Also they take credit card which is nice.

Service is always quick, and the ladies working are very enthusiastic about their products. (I was almost persuaded to buy all the mochi flavours today -- the lady made them sound so good! "Fresh mango!") I used to come here often before the pandemic but haven't been that much recently. Guess it really has been a while, since when I dropped by, I realized how great the prices are here! Looking back at past reviews from others, there are complaints about prices, but look where inflation has brought us... Most buns, even the quite large ones, are under $3. And the usual buy-6-no-tax. They take credit cards. I do really like their mochis, especially the black sesame one. And their garlic bun is also good too. Haven't tried any of the cakes, as I don't like cream that much. Some of the meat-filled buns are not very filled, but I think about okay for the price point.

There's a couple seating and cute decor located on the same floor. There's additional seating upstairs, with board games and books for you to enjoy.
