They only sell Italian croissants and macaron shells for the TooGood ToGo program. They croissants are really good if lucky enough to catch this grab on TGTG. They only bake the croissants that are imperfect and flavours can range from pistachio, raspberry, plain, chocolate. You can taste the difference they are made out of Canada, it's a much flakier, tighter rolled and lighter than the best ones here. The program also sells the broken macaron on shells, great to snack on!

They also have assorted (8 slices) in a box available. Absolutely addictive! All cheesecakes are frozen up for good storage in freezers. Leaving it overnight in the upper fridge, or leave it for 1 hour at room temperature before tasting it. So smooth, so creamy. Irresistibly delicious. Unquestionably the real deal. Other items include Macaroons (6pk for $12.99, 12pk for $24), Portuguese tarts, and Tiramisu. I only have a medium-sized stomach. So, will come back and try them later on. LOL.

This review is only on general experience and the macarons…read more Happened upon Maka Paka recently because of their cute macaron poster on their window. It's a small cozy restaurant, only a couple tables for dine in, but due to the limited parking spaces in the area, it seems more popular for takeout/uber/fantuan orders. We were greeted warmly, and informed that luckily there were a few flavours left, as it was already quite late in the day and most would have been sold out already. We got one of each flavour, as listed: Lemon Pikachu, Pineapple Bulbasaur, Sea Salt Caramel Squirtle. The Pikachu had a good balance of sweet and tart. The Squirtle didn't taste like salted caramel, it tasted like sweetened butter. I didn't get to try the Bulbasaur, so can't speak on the flavour of that. Based on the poster, Bulbasaur wasn't coloured correctly, but it was still cute. Priced higher than other places and reasonably so, as you can tell they really spend time to perfect the cute designs. I just wish they worked on the filling a little bit more to have a product that's not only cute but tastes awesome, too. They also offer Asian dishes like braised beef noodles and pork chop, the aroma smells wonderful and something we will definitely be back to try. Based on the two issues (Squirtle flavour and Bulbasaur colour), I would rate this 3*, but overall experience was pleasant, so increasing to 4*.

The space is bright but on the smaller side with only a few tables for dine-in. The staff helping me explained they recently opened (about a month ago if I remember correctly) and they're still working on printing out signs so I didn't know what flavors each macaron/cake was but he patiently walked me through every single one. What I got: - Kuromi Macaron (Salted Oreo) - Pikachu Macaron (Lemon) - Squirtle Macaron (Salted Caramel) - Bunny cake My Favs: - The bunny cake was super light and not too sweet. I don't remember exactly what flavor it was, perhaps apricot, but a great treat overall. - Lemon pikachu macaron was my favourite of the three as I love citrus flavors. This was super lemony but not too tart. Final thoughts: The macarons not only look amazing but tasted great too! I love a macaron that has a bit of chew to the shell which these do and each one was super flavorful. They are definitely on the pricer side, but the craftsmanship that goes into the designs and the strong flavors make this a 5 star for me. I'll be back to try some of their food menu and more of their desserts!

I'm not sure if you could choose what cupcakes came or if they had prepared boxes to choose from, but mine had 6 pairs of unique cupcakes (see picture for details). The cupcakes were not too sweet, which was nice as I sometimes feel I'm just eating sugar and nothing else (they were still sweet of course....just not SUPER sweet). The cream part seemed to be made of buttercream, and the dough part was also light. I liked the variety of options they had, and the cream part was designed very prettily with a flower motif. I haven't dealt with the customer service or looked at the costs, so I'm not sure how comparable it is to other places (my friends did all that...I just ate it :P) But if you like cupcakes, I would say to try it out.

I decided to get a Ferrero rocher macaron and a vanilla cupcake. I usually get a vanilla macaron as a tester but the Ferrero rocher flavour was interesting to me. The macaron was really good. Unfortunately I didn't get to fully enjoy it, as I was eating it outside in the heat and the chocolate and filling were melting rapidly. Even still, it was delicious. I definitely want to go back to try more flavours. The vanilla cupcake was good but not the best I've ever had. The cake was a little too dense for my liking but it wasn't horrible. I will come back to try the red velvet as that's the second flavour I usually try to judge a place on their cupcakes. Can't wait to come back! Wish they had later hours!
