Came here after lunch on a weekday to get some work done and there were quite a few others here with their laptops as well. There is a 2 hour seating limit and they have free wifi with paying customers. Got an iced tea and it was refreshing and the perfect pick me up after lunch. Parking is a little tricky since it's street parking right outside of the cafe, which is green P and has to be paid for. Overall, it was a cute environment and had a great selection of drinks and sweets to choose from. Check them out if you're in the area. read more

A cute and quaint coffee shop right off Yonge St. I've only visited once but I enjoyed my time. The space is small, with small tables and chairs. It has great natural light and a ton of cool plants scattered throughout. The wifi was strong, but there was a two hour limit for hanging out inside. I grabbed an iced latte to sip on while I worked and it was tasty. The service was very friendly. There's street parking out front but it is limited, so keep that in mind when heading there. I lucked out and got the only spot available at around 2pm. Overall, I would keep this coffee shop on my rotation if I lived near by and I would totally come back to try their adorable macarons. read more

Cafe Inside is decent to do work if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to spend time here. It isn't particularly aesthetic in comparison to Coffee Lunar just north on Yonge Street, and the drinks aren't anything special. The flower macarons are cute and tasty, but also nothing I would visit for specifically (I particularly enjoyed the matcha pretzel, the pecan, and the earl grey chocolate). The service was decent, and I did appreciate that they brought a little plastic knife when they noticed that the macarons were being shared. It's fairly empty and open until late, so it's not a bad option to visit if you just want to stay in one place and work with soft piano music playing. read more

Popped by for an afternoon caffeine fix! This little cafe nestled on a side street near Yonge & Sheppard can be easily missed if you aren't looking for it, but the espresso roast was lovely! The espresso was mellow, balanced, and perfectly complemented the sweet blue syrup & milk in the latte (also, how aesthetic was this?!). It was busier than expected even for a weekday, so I'd recommend it as a cafe for meet ups rather than to work (tables aren't that large). read more

Dropped by Cafe Inside on a Sunday afternoon and it was bustling! They are located a bit north of Sheppard-Yonge on a small street so easy to get to. The cafe is a bit quaint and has 20 or so seats so was happy we found a seat. We ordered a Einspanner (which only comes iced) and an Iced Vanilla Latte. They gave us a buzzer and we found a seat. Drinks were made really quickly which was nice! The Einspanner tasted like an iced coffee with a sweet cream cold foam on top. If was good and quite a large cup, but I prefer the einspanner from Forest Cafe more as it has a nice strong hazelnut taste. The iced vanilla latte was textbook, and perfect amount of sweetness. Staff were friendly and not intrusive at all. Solid cafe to add to rotation in the North York area! read more

Came here from a friend's recommendation to try the macarons. The macarons here were hands down some of the best I've ever had! Not only are they cutely shaped, but they are so flavourful. The standouts for me were the coffee and pistachio flavoured macarons. I also tried the blue ocean latte, which was pretty good. The coffee had a distinct taste and honestly tasted better than Starbucks in my humble opinion. Inside it is a bit small and crowded, so keep that in mind if you're planning to sit inside. read more

Cafe Inside was on my list for a while so I was happy to try it finally! I got the sweet potato latte and tried the earl grey chocolate macaron. The weet potato latte was okay, they used the yellow sweet potato (compared to usually purple) which was a nice touch. There were chunks of sweet potato and good flavour but for $6.50 it wasn't anything special. The macaron was also A-OK as it was chewy though a bit dry. I do appreciate the aesthetics of this cafe and the beautiful work space inside. A lot of people were talking and working on their laptop so this place is definitely popping! read more

Café Inside is a cute and cozy Korean cafe located at Yonge & Sheppard! They serve various drinks and desserts such as cute flower macarons. I ordered their blue ocean latté and it was perfectly balanced! I also got their black sesame flower macaron and it was delicious!! You can really taste the black sesame and love the thick filling! I would highly suggest visiting this cafe if you are in the area or looking for a place to chill & study!! It is very spacious and they have so many cute plants around the store. read more

Quiet cafe in North York. Easy to find a spot to sit and do some work during the workday. Their macarons are such an eye candy and a nice treat on top of a latte. I don't know why they didn't decide to turn on the white noise machine until much later, as our conversation likely carried throughout the room. I visited Cafe Inside and enjoyed a good cup of coffee in a cozy setting. The cafe has a rather unassuming exterior, with black and white signs showing the name of the restaurant. The large window outside didn't help people see inside as there was a curtain blocking the view. It was cozy inside, with enough space to move around. Reading the menu was tricky because it was in fine print and positioned well below eye level at the ordering counter. For those who need to review the menu, I suggest checking the one printed on the wall on the way to the counter. Iced Americano: The drink was well made, with none of the unpleasant bitterness often found in coffee. I also personally loved that they had plastic straws available for sipping. The overall ambiance of the cafe was calm and peaceful, and I enjoyed my stay here. I would not mind visiting again to try some of their other drinks and enjoy a lazy afternoon with my friends. read more

I went here with a friend to hang out. The place is nice and cozy with plenty of tables. At the time we went, the cafe was quite busy. Luckily we were able to get a table. I ordered an americano with a medium roast beans while my friend got a green tea latte. We also decided to share a small cake, Dumas cake - thin layer of cake topped with chocolate and white chocolate mousse, enveloped with chocolate glaze. On the outside, there are pistachio and hazelnuts. The cake was too sweet in my opinion. The first couple of bites were okay, but then it became harder to finish. They offer other cakes and macarons which I didn't get to try but did look interesting, and also Bingsu, which is a shaved ice with a variety of topping options. A lovely relaxing Cafe to hang out in and do some work! I particularly like their decor full of plants. The drinks are the standout here. I got a Peach Ade and Iced Lemon. Both were very refreshing with touches of garnish just to brighten your day with some beauty. I will have to come back on a day that isn't as hot to try the coffee. They have a selection of cute pastries and mini cakes if you want a little treat. The macarons are flower shaped and have so much filling! My favorite flavor out of the ones I got was black sesame. Pistachio had a light nutty flavor and Earl Grey tasted mostly of chocolate. Note!!! They have a rule for 1 drink per person dining in. You should also return your tray of glassware/plates back to the front counter. They have a sign for returns there. I'm sure the ladies will still pick up after you if you leave it at the table, but when I see a cafe with signs like that I just respect their preference for helping to keep the place neat. read more

I found the blueberry sauce and the crust a little thick but I just scraped off the extra blueberry sauce :) Other If you're looking for a study spot around the area, I think this is the perfect place. I've passed by a few times and looking in, there's usually not a lot of people sitting inside, so it's definitely quiet enough that you can just take out your laptop, sit for a few hours and get some work done with their free wifi. There's also some patio seating if you prefer sitting outside. Overall, I definitely wanna come back another day and study here while I try more of their food (esp their macarons - they're really pretty and shaped into a flower)! read more

I love this place! It has recently become one of my favourite cafes in North York and that's for many reasons. The main reason is the ambience of the cafe -- it has a very relaxing and easygoing vibe from the moment you step in. I love the plants inside and the artwork along with the huge full-body mirror at the front. I feel that the decor is very wonderfully curated and for that, I have to show my appreciation. I come here to study often and I've shown my friends this cafe as well and I don't know anyone who doesn't love it. Especially for reading a book, having a nice conversation with a friend or just relaxing and studying on your own, it's the perfect place to do all that in! In terms of coffee and food, I've tried their strawberry latte, mixed berry latte, vanilla latte and chai latte. I loved their green tea latte but they don't make it anymore!! However, the vanilla latte is another one of my favourites for the colder seasons whereas the strawberry latte is a must try for the warmer seasons! I found the mixed berry latte too sweet for my liking but the other drinks I tried were incredible! I also got one of their cheesecakes before -- the blueberry cheesecake. It was tasty but I found that the crust was extra thick at some parts rather than a nicely even distribution. I have yet to try their other desserts though so I'm sure I'll find something that I prefer more! The only downside to the place that I can think of is their wi-fi can cut off here and there but for the most part, it has not been a problem. This could be easily fixed by them getting a different router or a higher speed connection but it's not too much of an issue unless there's many people inside at the same time. read more

I have a weak spot for Korean Macarons and I'm so glad that I've found a place to get them in the area. I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my sister after seeing their Instagram page and I know this will soon be my regular hangout. The Café had ample yet spacious seating and upon entry, there was hand sanitizer provided. They also have a small patio space outside. It was a semi- service system where you order and pick up of your own food at the signal of a buzzer provided. I ordered a box of 5 macarons. Some of their flavours came in different shapes which I thought was a cute touch. The lotus cookie macaron was my favourite. They weren't too sweet and paired nicely with my latte. My sister order the Iced Choco Earl Grey. We both absolutely loved it; the Earl Grey foam on top was amazing and I didn't know how much I enjoyed the Chocolate + Earl Grey combination until now. I'll likely be back again to try more of their other desserts and drinks. read more

This place is a go-to for a peaceful study session or just a rest break or pretty much anything! The desserts, while being a bit expensive is very good, especially the macarons and coque flake (which is a great snack to go). The place has a lot of cute plants all around the place. The macarons at this spot are to die for!! Korean macarons are famous for their abundance of fillings and cute shapes and this place has both! Their macarons are not like the other macarons from other places as they are not overly sweet where you don't even know what flavour it is. The flavour options are unique as well as incorporate popular asian flavours! The store is run by a lady in her 20's, I think and it seems like it is just her and her family. It may take long for drinks if it is busy, but are worth the wait. The drinks are not typical drinks you get from other cafes such as their ocean latte, ocean lemonade, and einspanner coffees!
