The image shows two baked sandwiches with golden-brown crusts and visible fillings, along with sausage rolls in the background, all in cardboard containers.

Beautiful little corner coffee shop with lots of foot traffic from offices in the area. Parking is $20 max per day (Service Canada building parking lot) We shared the following: - Mortadella Sandwich - Sausage Roll - Pistachio Croissant - Matcha Latte The sandwich was actually quite ginormous! It was very nice of them to cut it in half for us without even asking. Thank you ^^ Everything was very yummy, especially the Mortadella Sandwich (it was so loaded!)

Slow Bite Bakery located right at Sheppard and Doris on the ground level of a big office building is a cafe that is currently in soft opening. They only open from Monday to Friday at 8am right now and are closed during the weekends. They offer a variety of caffeinated and non-caffeinated beverages as well as a variety of croissants, danishes, sandwiches, and baked items throughout the day, which are made in house. I stopped by Slow Bite on a Friday morning around opening time. The place wasn't busy and the pastry display wasn't fully stocked yet but I grabbed a cortado and a ham and cheese danish. The space is clean and minimalistic, where there is some seating to enjoy your items. The space reminded me a little bit of another coffee shop in Toronto. In terms of the coffee, it was made well. My danish tasted great - I loved that even though it was a simple ham and cheese danish, there was actually some tomato sauce which made it taste like a pizza. Service wise, the staff were friendly and eager to answer any questions I had. My coffee was made at a reasonable time. Overall, cute new place for coffee and pastries in the neighbourhood! Definitely will be returning for more!! Hope that they will open on the weekends in the future as well.

Second time coming back, and honestly, it was even better than the first. The croissant was super flaky and buttery--exactly how it should be. The atmosphere is great too; not overly loud, so you can actually get some work or studying done if you want. I ordered a strawberry matcha latte and totally forgot to ask for oat milk. I went back up to the counter to see if they could remake it and told them I'd pay for the new one. Ed was the one who helped me, and he remade it without charging me. I was shocked! He was so generous and accommodating! The drink turned out really smooth and not overly sweet, just perfect. Overall, a great experience. The only downfall is that there's no free parking! Boo hoo! Other than that, I'll definitely be back!

A great coffee shop to work from, grab a drink or have a full meal with wine!…read more Came on a weekday to snag a table to do some work and it was quiet but had a few other tables also with laptops. There aren't a lot of tables with plugs so be aware of that before coming. I got the pistachio latte which was recommended by the staff here and they were onto something! It's delicious, creamy, and nutty all in one, while also still giving me that caffeine hit. Staff here were friendly. Ambiance was beautiful. Love that they are a half cafe vibe but also serve a full menu of food and even have wine and cocktails. Parking is a bit tricky, I didn't know where to park since it was on a main road and had nowhere to turn into when you're facing the restaurant. Would love to try their other items someday. Saw that they have delicious looking and sounding sandwiches, pizzas, salads, pastas and more. Definitely check this spot out!

The interior is sleek and modern and the staff are friendly but as other reviews mentioned can be a little forgetful ... sometimes we had to remind them more than once of a drink or a small request. However the staff are very sweet and always seem to be excited about their food and drinks and love talking about anything new on their menu ... really enjoyed the croissants that comes with pistachio, chocolate, and I believe Nutella, and that they can make immediately for you if they've run out of a certain flavor. They have pastries, wine, a big coffee menu, sandwiches, and pasta. There's some street parking and if you don't mind walking across the street there's plenty of spots at Bayview Mall. They also have free underground parking but it's a bit of a guessing game to get to the first time ... if you go behind their building parallel to Sheppard is Thomas Clark Way. If you're facing north towards their building on Thomas Clark Way then the parking driveway is part of the building to the left of the church, the parking garage door is actually perpendicular to Thomas Clark Way. There's a few parking areas on that road so it's hard to find the first time but once you get it then it's really convenient especially in the winter - the restaurant is right there. Highly recommended for the great staff and casual yet elegant vibe.
