Back again for another visit after a little while! They've partnered with LSDR for a fun new refresher drink I was interested in trying. Confirming it was fun and it was tasty. I love ginger beverages- it wasn't overpowering here, I mostly tasted the kiwi and sparkling lemonade. It was busy in there but we still got our orders and drinks quickly, I appreciate how fast the service was. My friend got one of their banana bread drinks - if you like the taste of hojicha, this was particularly strong which I personally enjoyed! Love how the store also has sections where it is like a little market selling local goods and always fun to see the dogs that are sitting outside. The prices are a little expensive (my refresher before tax was $7.5) but typical for what you'd pay in Toronto for a fun drink, from what I've seen. read more

I think this is one of the cutest coffee shops in Toronto with a cozy, artsy atmosphere. It does get busy every time I visit, but there's actually a good amount of seating inside if you're able to snag a spot. I'd absolutely come here to get some work done if I was able to get a seat. One thing I really love is that they sell handmade goods from local artists and host craft nights, it feels very community driven and adds such a fun, unique touch to the café. Drinks I tried: Maple Goguma Latte - Slightly nutty, lightly sweet, and super comforting. I added a shot of espresso, which made it perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Dalgona Latte - A really fun drink with great texture. Just make sure to stir it well since the sweetness settles at the bottom. They're known for their creative, seasonal drink menu, and I'm already excited to come back to try what they release next season. I think I've just stepped into a fairytale I stopped by this morning for a quick pick-me-up and I'm honestly obsessed with the vibe here. Viral for their banana bread matcha latte and the reason I came to check it out for myself! Upon arriving around 2PM, there was a huge line in the store that looped all the way to the back already. I still waited to check it out and it was about a 30 minute wait time from the door. The space is small so it was very crammed with everyone lining up there - hardly able to pass by if you're trying to get to the back seating area. Got the banana bread matcha latte that's made with ceremonial grade matcha topped with vanilla sweet cream and comes in one size only. The drink was good and tasted exactly like a banana bread with a hint of matcha. My friend loved it since she loves banana bread. I liked it too since I also like banana bread but it's not something I'd love to have as a drink often. This is something that is worth a try to see what the hype is about. Came here this morning after a workout class. Cute spot, right on the corner. On the smaller side. However, there are two tables to sit at outside, smaller tables inside and two other rooms to sit and enjoy your coffee. A friend recommended this Korean cafe and I loved it! They have basic coffee options (lattes, americanos, etc) and specialties like dalgona latte, hojicha latte, and non-caffeinated drinks. The inside is clean and decorated with plants and charming accessories. There's a couch in the furthest room back where you can catch up with friends, and other smaller tables in the front and middle rooms. I tried the iced hojicha latte (50% sweetened) and it was perfect. If you haven't had hojicha before, it's a roasted Japanese green tea with a distinct flavor. I find it's less "Earthy" than most other types of green tea. I also had a Nutella croissant, which was as good as it sounds. I really liked this cafe and am glad I was able to visit! read more

Such a cute and aesthetic little cafe! Lots of fun Korean inspired drinks on the menu like dalgona latte, and they have caffeine free options too. They also offer yummy looking pastries and desserts. I got an iced black sesame latte (caffeine free) and it was so yummy! Asked for it to be sweetened and it's the perfect amount of sweet without being too much. Recommend with regular milk as well. It was a perfect refreshing drink for a warm sunny day. The service here is amazing and the staff are so friendly, and they are super quick with making the drinks as well - they make it right in front of you which is fun to watch. The space inside is so lovely and would be perfect for working. They sell adorable trinkets and mugs inside too. There are two small tables for sitting outside as well. It's good but the instagram influencers overhyped it and you can't really taste the matcha. food: 5/5 coffee here is so so good... I always get the iced dalgona latte when I come here and it hits every single time. The soy milk here pairs very well with it and honestly tastes most similar to real milk...I highly recommend it over oat or almond for my non dairy drinkers. They do have some yummy pastry options but they're usually out of a lot by the afternoons. service: 5/5 very friendly but fast service! The staff here really brings the cafe culture to life but at the same time prioritize speed and efficiency. Atmosphere: 3/5 super cute spot and they have a lot more seating than you would expect. It definitely feels very tight and cramped and not all the seats are very comfortable to study in. Grabbing a spot is also quite competitive depending the time of day and there are limited outlets to charge devices. So here's my breakdown: Coffee - 5/5 Seating - 4/5 WiFi - 3/5 I got the dalgona coffee and it was amazing, a lot of places tend to skimp on the coffee by giving you more milk instead, but not this place! One of my favourite laptop cafes in the city. We have to support and protect places like these as they are more than just businesses but a part of our communities. Coffee and matcha is really good here, drinks are very customizable milk and flavor wise. They have decent snacks, that's definitely an area of improvement but they are good enough for fuel to get you through a study sesh. Employees are very nice and do good latte art. They have a little shop of jewlery and home goods which is nice to look at. They have some tables as well as couches at the Adelaide location which is a good mix. The ambience is nice and quiet but not too quiet. Wi-Fi is good, if you need a place to park, it's a good alternative if Jimmy's is full. read more

I randomly stumbled into this café when I was walking around the neighborhood, and to be honest, I loved the vibe of the outside already. Literally a house that was renovated to turn into a café style. When I walked inside, I was instantly greeted by the café staff, and I loved the vibe of the little café already. The menu was small, but they have a good selection of what to do with your espresso. I ordered their simple Vanilla Cream Cold brew, and it was efficiently made. I was happy it was done so quick, as I see them just pour the cream on to the cold brew, it was just satisfying to watch. I took my brew and just sat down at one of little seating spots in a room to the side and the place was just relaxing and comfy vibes were just flowing. I pulled out my ipad and just started to create art at that moment. It was the perfect spot to just get away from the busy city of Toronto and relax. I literally sat that for an hour without realizing it, and I went to grab a cup of water and throw away my garbage and left the café. It was the perfect respite, and I was charged and ready for the rest of the day. If I have a chance to come back to Forget me Not, anytime would be a good time. Would recommend. read more

Love this cute coffee spot in town! I didn't go all the way in to the back, but I heard it's pretty spacious. It allows customers to work/study, which you'll see pretty much everyone has their laptop on. So no pressure on the time limit. I asked for my coffee to stay, so it's served in a ceramic cup. Lovely cafe to grab a drink, get some work done, and explore some small businesses. The cafe is in a long, narrow space, but there was more room than I expected. The walls are lined with cute plants and products from local sellers. It was pretty busy the entire time we were there on a Sunday afternoon, with 2 or 3 baristas. Forget Me Not has a lot of asian flavours - we tried their black sesame latte and rose almond tea latte. Wasn't the most impressed by these drinks (I think I would've preferred a sweeter drink). You will also find an assortment of items for sale by local artists (ie. hair clips, earrings, etc) by the front of the shop. There are larger community tables at the front and back of the cafe with smaller bar/1 person seating available as well. I would sit at the community table if you plan to be there for a long period of time as the small tables are shorter and I find that my neck/back hurts after a few hours. No bitter after taste or graininess. It was a very smooth matcha that wasn't too overpowering, and paired nicely with the creaminess of the oat milk. They also sell a bunch of jewelleries and other small items made by small local businesses! The staff is also very friendly. The vibe is nice and cozy, feels like you're in a house! There's a 'living room' area with a couch, as well as a separate room with more tables and chairs. It's not very big, so make sure to get there early if you want a seat.
