Had to come here to try the infamous banana matcha latte to see what all the hype is about! There was a line when I went but it goes by pretty quick. Had high hopes for this drink as I love matcha and banana bread and have to agree that it does live up to the hype. Love the banana flavour in the drink and it's not too overwhelming, and personally thought it wasn't too sweet. It's yummy overall and would probably get again!

Recommended. Cozy cafe with fresh banana breads, my go-to, always reliable! $2.75. Their drinks are super popular too but I go for the foods ;)

Viral for their banana bread matcha latte and the reason I came to check it out for myself! Upon arriving around 2PM, there was a huge line in the store that looped all the way to the back already. I still waited to check it out and it was about a 30 minute wait time from the door. The space is small so it was very crammed with everyone lining up there - hardly able to pass by if you're trying to get to the back seating area. Got the banana bread matcha latte that's made with ceremonial grade matcha topped with vanilla sweet cream and comes in one size only. The drink was good and tasted exactly like a banana bread with a hint of matcha. My friend loved it since she loves banana bread. I liked it too since I also like banana bread but it's not something I'd love to have as a drink often. This is something that is worth a try to see what the hype is about. I wouldn't necessarily come back just to have this though.

Got the famous banana bread matcha just in time since it's leaving the menu end of may. One size, iced only, you can modify the milk option with extra $1. No line and the drink came out within 3 minutes. Was expecting it to be super sweet but it wasn't. Had the banana bread taste, not matcha taste if you mix it. Wouldn't crave it, but glad I tried it.

A charming cafe with Korean/japanese inspired drinks Small cafe with limited seating and various plugs around. Lots of people at all times of the day working and can get fairly loud sometimes. Drinks are tasty although a bit expensive and small but a good place to get takeout. I might prefer the ossington location more. -1 due to a lot of fruit flies

Wanted to get the viral banana matcha latte but they were unfortunately sold out. I got their dalgona latte instead which was I really enjoyed! Cute space inside and more seating inside than I thought

I heard about the viral Banana Bread Matcha drink so I had to try it! The cafe is small but very busy and popular. The barista works fast and makes good quality drinks. The matcha tasted exactly like Banana Bread and was happy with it. It does only come in one size and is a small portion. It cost $7.36 for the matcha.

Came here this morning after a workout class. Cute spot, right on the corner. On the smaller side. However, there are two tables to sit at outside, smaller tables inside and two other rooms to sit and enjoy your coffee. We came around 12:30 and it was fairly busy, didn't have to wait long for drinks. My boyfriend got the double espresso and rated it a 8.5/10! I got the matcha latte with a shot of vanilla and it wasn't the best matcha I've had, but definitely quenched my thirst. We wished there had more bites to eat instead of just pastries. I would definitely come back here to try a coffee drink...

Get the scone.. don't think about it twice. Just get the scone. Pillowy, great flavour and tastes home made! 10/10 Nutella latte was a too sweet for me... 7/10

A friend recommended this Korean cafe and I loved it! They have basic coffee options (lattes, americanos, etc) and specialties like dalgona latte, hojicha latte, and non-caffeinated drinks. The inside is clean and decorated with plants and charming accessories. There's a couch in the furthest room back where you can catch up with friends, and other smaller tables in the front and middle rooms. I tried the iced hojicha latte (50% sweetened) and it was perfect. If you haven't had hojicha before, it's a roasted Japanese green tea with a distinct flavor. I find it's less "Earthy" than most other types of green tea. I also had a Nutella croissant, which was as good as it sounds. I really liked this cafe and am glad I was able to visit!

Such a cute and aesthetic little cafe! Lots of fun Korean inspired drinks on the menu like dalgona latte, and they have caffeine free options too. They also offer yummy looking pastries and desserts. I got an iced black sesame latte (caffeine free) and it was so yummy! Asked for it to be sweetened and it's the perfect amount of sweet without being too much. Recommend with regular milk as well. It was a perfect refreshing drink for a warm sunny day. The service here is amazing and the staff are so friendly, and they are super quick with making the drinks as well - they make it right in front of you which is fun to watch. The space inside is so lovely and would be perfect for working. They sell adorable trinkets and mugs inside too. There are two small tables for sitting outside as well. Definitely recommend for your next coffee run!!

To be honest, the store and decor are so much better than the original store. Maybe because there's usually more traffic in the PATH, so it takes more time for them to keep up? Anyways, the store was cozy and clean and I felt extra welcomed as soon as I stepped in. Checking out this location it's all vibe and super adorable inside. They even have a little back outdoor patio space for you to enjoy your drinks. The only reason that this isn't a 5 star is that their drinks are definitely on the sweet side and this is throughout their locations - think they can scale back on the sugar for sure! Opted for their new seasonal mango sticky rice matcha latte which was really good and loved the bits of sticky rice in my drink. But it was on the sweeter side of things. Would've been perfect if they scaled back on the sugar content. Overall, delicious drinks with a rotating seasonal menu. Worth checking out, especially their new space is great for enjoying your cup of caffeine.

Some reviewers complained about the loudness, but, compared to many other downtown locations, Landwers was a medium level of noise, and we were able to converse. It was not excessively busy, but if you are set on eating here, then make a reservation. I finally tried the Sinia Kebab, and it was tremendously good! It was also huge, and I had to take half of it home with me. The focaccia bread is excellent, and serves as a sort of bowl for this deconstructed kebab. My husband had his usual Cobb Salad, which he thinks is particularly well done at Landwer's. Our other dining companion had schnitzel, which came with some angel hair pasta. He enjoyed it very much. Service is, as I said above, "relaxed". If you are planning to see a concert or show afterwards, then plan ample time to allow the relaxed service to unfold (a.k.a this is not fast food!!) We had a 6:00 reservation, and we were able to make our 7:30 concert time with about 10 minutes to spare. The University location is conveniently located near Thompson Hall, the subway, and Union Station (Via Rail and Go).

This coffee shop is nestled semi-behind a pillar beside the lobby of the Intercontinental hotel Toronto, which adds to its charm for me, in a way. Love finding a good "hole in the wall" :) I love the bright, feminine, beachy decor and coral pink & aqua blue accents. It's not too tropical, but it definitely transports you outside of Canada. Coupled with Aussie staples like vegemite and Noosa magazines (takes me straight back there!), as well as gorgeous ceramic coffee mugs for purchase, the vibes are great here. While it is a smaller shop, there is enough seating for 3 tables, and it's very cozy. Had to go for a flat white, given the Aussie homage here. This one got my approval (and I'm picky about my flat whites) - they used a lighter, more balanced espresso roast, paired with just the right amount of creamy frothed milk.
