Love coming back here. The drip coffee has an amazing blend that makes me coming back! Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the Yonge and Sheppard area. . Parking is limited but it is really close by the subway station. Definitely come during the day when it's a bit more slower paced. read more

Walking into Another Land Coffee feels like being transported to an elegant English tea house. The aesthetic is beautiful, featuring shelves filled with unique tea cups available for purchase that give the space such a sophisticated vibe. They have a great menu ranging from fancy toasts to croissant sandwiches. I ordered the fresh scones with clotted butter and jam and the osmanthus latte. The scone came out perfectly warm--the butter and jam combo was a total "chef's kiss." Note for dairy-free fans: They currently only offer almond milk as an alternative, but it tasted delicious in my latte! read more

Cute cozy Japanese cafe in north York. The place is nice and neat. Staff is very friendly. I got a hojicha latte with a little bit of sugar. The hojicha is strong which I like. Very delicate taste of tea. Also no tipping here influenced by Japanese culture! read more

A really cute cafe with very yummy small bites like egg tarts, cookies, croissants and more. We got their iced Matcha tiramisu and yuzu cofftail. We enjoyed the matcha more because it was so creamy. However the yuzu is prefect for a hot day when you're trying to cool off. They're currently doing a pop-up special $1.5 egg tarts and cookies. Tried both and they were both delicious. The sea salt on top of the cookie added a nice little kick to it. Also tried the ham and cheese croissant for $6 which was pretty good as well. The staff was very kind and bought the drinks to our table. Only downside is the café is a bit small So might be hard to find seating on weekends. Definitely recommend trying them! read more

A lot of options for latte. I picked Osmanthus latte for its peculiar name and I was genuinely curious about it. They have flower drizzled on top! It's so cool! The people were also helpful since I wasnt sure what to try. They were patient on us when we ask questions about what kind of coffee are in their signature. The shop is in the avondale and yonge street. It's not as developed as the other spots in the area. This is in the 2nd floor so if you wanna try it, just look up to the 2nd floor of the old building where Burrito Boyz. The cafe interior has touches of trinkets which is really cute. It's super clean and you could see how they maintain the cleanliness and order of the cafe. Taste of coffee: Seriously, it's really good they also sell beans! I will be coming back to try other flavour :) read more

Super expensive place for a small one size takeout cup. It's the size of a small Tim's cup but price after taxes was $8.19. Mins you, I got a specialty latte - a hot tiramisu latte but still, size matters. Espresso tasted good but it's still over priced and while not overly sweet, there's not so much flavour since the tiramisu is actually pieces of the dessert put i to the cake and not syrup based. Texture was a little weird finding cake in your latte but it was okay. Overall not impressed especially given the price point. read more

This cafe definitely stands out from others in appearance. The interior is decorated very uniquely with artistically mismatched furniture, decor, and coffee merchandise. As other reviews point out, the cafe is on the 2nd floor and can be accessed via stairs beside the chicken restaurant. Be warned parking in the plaza is quite limited. We ordered a flat white, iced matcha latte, and the salmon croissant-wich. The milk in the flat white was nicely steamed and frothed, however the espresso shot seemed to be underextracted a smidge. The iced matcha latte was very textbook and plesant to drink. The salmon croissant sandwich was to our surprise very flaky and flavourful. There is also plenty of small local businesses that advertise in the cafe (jewelry, artwork) which adds to the unique localized nature of the cafe. They also have a large variety of coffee beans and other coffee products (chemex, kettles, karafe, grinders, cups) and I picked up a bag of beans myself. Overall, it's a lovely quaint place with pretty nice staff that changes up the pace and feeling of a cafe amidst the hustle and bussle of North York / Yonge Street. read more

I came across this cafe by accident and was happy for it! The place was nice and cozy. It is located on the second floor and there are some seats on the balcony. What made this little cafe feels more special is the nonuniformity of the chairs and tables while still keeping with the pastel color theme. The coffee itself was okay. At that time, what was available was single origin guatemalan beans. the flavor profile was citrusy, not really my style however I can see how it could be pleasant for those who prefer it. I also picked up some mochis which are supplied by Sasaki pastry. The flavors i got were strawberry (not in picture since I ate it :D), Hojicha, Matcha, Black sesame, Mango, and Peach. The mochis' texture in general was soft and chewy, even after being kept in refrigerator overnight. It didn't also dry out. I was able to taste all the flavors aside from the peach, I couldn't taste any in it. The mango flavored mochi was my favorite! read more

Grabbed a simple iced vanilla latte to go walking in the neighborhood of yonge and sheppard. Sneakily located on the top floor of a strip of stores, another land coffee is a secret and beautiful coffee shop! The ambience is beautiful and I saw many people camped with their laptops doing work. Nothing too special about the latte, it's just a decently strong spresso, vanilla syrup and milk. Would've like to have more vanilla flavour/syrup in my latte since it is an extra cost vs. the regular iced latte read more

Another Land Coffee and More is located about a 3-5 min walk away from Sheppard and Yonge. This new coffee shop serves a variety of coffee/espresso based drinks as well as has several different toasts. The cafe is on the 2nd floor (above the Smoke's Poutinerie). When you walk up the steps you are transported to a cute and quiet oasis in this part of the city. The coffee shop has plenty of seating and wifi as well. I've been to Another Land Coffee and More several times for their coffee and toasts. The flat whites are done well and they also have feature coffees which you can try. The owner knows her coffee and is always willing to chat with you if you have questions or just simply want to talk about coffee. The toasts are made well where the bread is not hard to cut into. Definitely check this place out if you have the time! Finally a good coffee shop at Sheppard/Yonge!! read more

If you're in the mood for a charming and unique little cafe experience, Another Land Coffee is definitely worth checking out! The decor is eye-catching and delightful, with an artistic style that sets it apart from your average coffee spot. However, I wasn't thrilled with the coffee itself. It seemed to be overextracted, resulting in a bitterness that detracted from the overall taste. That's something I typically expect from Starbucks coffee, but I was hoping for better from Another Land. Overall, it's a decent spot for coffee, but there are definitely better options out there in terms of the actual coffee. read more

TIRAMISU LATTE - Very pretty presentation! - Quality coffee flavour - All the tiramisu flavour comes from the cream/foam on the top so I liked mixing the drink thoroughly so that the whole drink tasted like tiramisu - A little expensive, it was around 10$ for a small drink OVERALL Wanted to grab some coffee in the area and found this highly-rated place on google maps :) I'm very glad I stopped by- it's such a cute little place. Going up the stairs and entering the cafe, it's literally like you're being transported to another (very aesthetically pleasing and calming) land LMAO... The barista greeted us immediately and was super nice! In addition to coffee, the cafe also sells chocolate, natural shampoo, tote bags, and these really cute felt animal brooches. Definitely worth stopping by if you want to try some quality coffee or just something new in the area (since it seems sorta low key!) :) read more

Excellent coffee shop owned by a super warm and friendly owner (Hong). All the staff that work there are very friendly and knowledgeable about coffee and can help you pick something that matches your preference. They just moved to the lower floor making them more easily accessible and a larger floor plan, still equally as cute and atmospheric as their old location. It's also a great place to meet others in the community and is a very community oriented place. Prices for coffee are actually quite reasonable compared to chains like Starbucks. Tipping is not required and it's noted that they do profit sharing with their employees - yay equitable pay! Tip: bring your own reuse-able mug Also - they sell beer! read more

This cafe is obscurely hidden on the 2nd floor. Found this by searching cafes near me and was intrigued as it had 4.7 star reviews on Google. Location-wise it was easy to find, the challenge was looking for the entrance. So we parked at the front facing Yonge St. There were few parking spots, and the one spot on my right had a sign strictly for a different establishment, so I parked beside that spot. We just got out of the car when the pet shop lady came charging like a hyena that reminded me of Ursula from Little Mermaid. She rudely asks, "is this your car? You can't park here." So I apologized and before moving my car, I asked her where the entrance to the cafe is. She said "I don't know but you can't park here!" So I got the hint, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Found a parking spot on the side road, went into the convenience store to ask for the cafe entrance - the owner was kind enough to walk us right through the entryway. Now for the review of the cafe- ordered a pour over and an Iced Americano, a brownie and Tiramisu croissant. Coffee was smooth and not acidic, presentation was cute- served in a dainty cup. Croissant was flakey and not too sweet. Brownie was ok. I wasn't expecting it to be busy, as with the location, but shortly after, there was a line up before we left. Servers were pleasant, cafe decor was cute. They even had a small outdoor seating for today's perfect weather. If not for the limited parking and nasty pet shop lady, I'd definitely be back. read more

This is a cute spot for a coffee chat or getting some work done. The decor is girly meets vintage grandma. The music is usually some type of soft rock/country and can be a little too loud at times. The flat white is decent and I like that better than the matcha latte and croissants. read more

Had I known this place earlier, would have definitely been a regular here. Cute little cafe and beautiful ambience despite the covid restrictions could sense the wonderful ambience. Mocha definitely won my heart. Whenever around will be coming here again. It's a small place hence try to check if number of people waiting inside are more. Also have to take the stairs since this is a level up. Highly recommend!! read more

Finally, a good coffee shop opened in North York! I have been waiting for this for so long, so I'm happy that i no longer have to endure Starbuck burnt beans anymore. The place is very nice. There are lots of cute cafes downtown but it seems to me that this was lacking up town in North York. This definitely fulfills that cute coffee shop vibe while serving a legit latte. If you have a chance, try their tasting menu (pick three roasts and get a surprise). The figs & honey and the smoked salmon were well worth it. You can also tell that they love what they are doing and are very knowledgeable on what they serve. Will definitely be back! read more

I started going here a month ago after hearing that they really make good coffee. The shop is located on the second floor of tiny plaza around yonge and Sheppard. At first visit, I ordered a drip coffee and the first sip was fantastic. Very aromatic and vibrant taste. Normally, I don't expect that much from a drip coffee. Go here if you crave for a good cup of coffee. In my opinion, Another Land is one of the top coffee shops in North York. Warning; You may not able to go back to your beloved Tim Horton after this kind of coffee experience. read more

Definitely one of my top 10 cafes in Toronto! Another Land is located on the second floor of a little building, just outside of Sheppard-Yonge station. I was a little confused about where it was located but I was so glad I found it! I went inside and got a matcha latte, the toast tasting menu and a mocha. The toast tasting menu allowed you to choose three roasts from their menu, ranging from savoury to sweet and includes a surprise item. I chose smoked salmon, avocado toast and the honey and fig. The honey and fig was very good - actually my first time having a fresh fig. Very refreshing for the cold weather outside! It really tasted summery and happy. The avocado toast was good, as it was topped with balsamic vinegar which helped the flavours come out. Lastly the smoked salmon toast is one of my favourites I've ever eaten!! It's topped with balsamic vinegar and uses whipped cream cheese. The radish gives it a nice bite to the flavour as well. For the surprise item, we got a yogurt parfait topped with nuts and granola. Pretty nice end to the toast tasting. The matcha latte comes unsweetened and you can choose to add your own sugar in - I did. I'm a bit of a sweet tooth. The mocha was very good as well. Weirdly enough the hot drinks didn't come with a spoon. I think you had to go up and grab it yourself. Lastly the service was AMAZING. The baristas were so nice and they even checked up on us too, even in our little corner. Overall, favourite cafe north of Yonge-Bloor station. You have to check it out!!! 10/10 for sure!! read more

Cute little coffee shop near Yonge and Sheppard. I came on a snowy Monday morning and was the first one there at 10am, though more people started trickling in while I enjoyed my breakfast. I ordered the avocado toast and decaf Mocha. They put a little too much salt on the toast, but it was otherwise very tasty and refreshing. It had avocado, cucumber, radish, and a sweet balsamic dressing which complimented all the flavours. The mocha was not hot enough, but taste was on point and very smooth. I will definitely be back. read more

We had a nice time visiting this little coffee shop oasis. The coffee and food were good, but very expensive. It has very nice decor, and wonderful service. However, if you're looking to work here for a morning (as we were), it could use some help. The tables were small (hard to fit two laptops and drinks), and there is no customer wifi offered. read more

This place is long overdue for the North York corridor!!!! The coffee is excellent, North York has no proper cafes that serve high end coffee....until now. Hatch is a superior local roaster, their quality they could compete on the west coast. The staff here are excellent and well trained. The balcony is charming and if you work at Procter and Gamble it's right across the street read more
