A smallish coffee shop but the decor is so warm and inviting I visited in the afternoon and there was a number of individuals in there who were working remotely there's not too many tables so I would imagine it gets filled up quickly. I ordered an ice a latte and the server was extremely nice note that they don't take cash. The Latte was smooth it wasn't bitter I did ask for some simple syrup but I said less than what you normally would put in a latte so that I can still taste the coffee. I truly enjoyed it even on the rainy day that it was

Finally got to stop by and check out this spot. It gets busy during peak hours. The quality of the coffee is great here. It's furnished in a chic sophisticated style. Prices are average and it's great to be here for a short stay. I'd say check it out during a slower time of the day. There is outdoor seating as well however it is limited. Definitely a place to add to your coffee shop Bucket list in Toronto!

Very cute cafe with such lovely owners! (I think they were the owners, if not then barista!!) one asked me how my coffee was and if I needed anything after I sat down. I came here just before 1 on a Saturday and got the last seat available. They have 8 seats with a few being single seats. Now the coffee! I loved my flat white!! The beans they use are really nice and mix well with the frothed milk. They also have a few options for milk alternatives, and they have a dark chocolate syrup for mochas (which I like more as it is richer and less sweet!!). Overall great atmosphere and people. Will come back for sure when I am next in the area!

I love Shy Coffee for the ambiance, the great tasting coffee, and the no fuss service. There's plenty of places to sit (seats do fill up though!) and during warmer seasons they add seating outside too. The pastries are not always the freshest, the cookies are great, but the coffee is what I come for. It's always busy with people ordering coffee to-go or regulars hanging out, conversing, or bringing their laptops to work. If you're in the area I definitely recommend Shy Coffee. The interior is lovely, calm, peaceful. The light wood accents with the cozy warm whites create a beautiful and comfortable atmosphere. There are large windows that pull in all the natural light. It's a great place to visit. There's also a clean bathroom on site. Little tip, there are some wooden games, at the front where you pay, that you can borrow to pass some time with a friend. Check it out!

Cute spot on King St. Good vibes, friendly staff and good coffee. Had an iced Americano - really clean flavour and priced fairly too (3.50). Will be back when I'm in the area

Long story short: A beautiful and inviting cafe with a European feel to get your coffee fix! Long story long: I came here to focus on some work and it worked! Got my coffee fix at the same time: an almond milk lavender latte. Delicious, smooth and slightly sweet. They also have a small selection of pastries to choose from, which I didn't indulge in, but the pain au chocolat looked good! I've been curious about this place because of the welcoming storefront, and it did not disappoint. The inside is so beautiful! Chestnut leather seats, marble tables, greenery... Very cozy and quiet. I also noticed how clean everything was. No dirty dishes sitting in the designated tray, the table I sat at was already wiped clean. The place looked and felt new. The barista was very kind and accommodating. I liked the playlist playing too! Overall, great coffee and a great place to sit with a friend or get some work done without distractions.

Shy Coffee Co. is at the intersection of King St. W/Tecumseh. The coffee shop has all your coffee needs and sells pastries as well. The wood walls/floor and marble tables make it feel trendy yet warm. There are around 10 tables in the shop and free wifi is available. I stopped by Shy Coffee Co. on a Wednesday night at around 5pm to grab a coffee after work. Service was friendly and my Americano was great. Overall, great new addition to the King/Bathurst area if you're looking for a good coffee shop to work in or meet up with friends!

New in the neighbourhood, best looking and very mid century modern vibes in terms of interiors! Coffee is never less when compared and one of the best.. They kind of have a Victorian door which makes it look even more interesting.. and not to forget that this place has a couple of board games on two tables. Also, very instagrammable photos can be taken here as everything looks so new and shiny! Definitely will be going back here for their coffee along with friends next time!!

Decaf Americano and a lovely spot to do some reading.

Charming. From the baristas warm greeting, to the storefront, outstanding interior design and offerings... all charming. As a coffee lover who cannot drink caffeinated coffee I am always on the search for a decent cup of decaf. A large decaffeinated Americano, with cream, is my usual go to. This cup was light and fruity unlike the bitter, astringent cup I recently encountered elsewhere. Though I long for a different kind of café culture than what we have here in Toronto, the kind where friends meet and talk instead of looking at their phones or plugging in to work, Shy Coffee Co. offers both elegant respite while providing the contemporary requisites. Lots of natural light to read by and a truly lovely, intimate space. The friendly, knowledgeable staff are efficient, good-humoured and make the place what it is.

I am so overjoyed to have discovered Shy Coffee Co.! I am not normally in this area but I have been taking a course all week long and our trainer recommended this spot to us. I loved it so much that I have come by every day this week. Plus, the decor is very LA meets Toronto, which I loved. ;) What can I say? It's just so rare to find outstanding customer service in Toronto anymore and Shy Coffee totally delivers! Whether I was ordering in-store or breezing through to pick up a Ritual order, every person I interacted with there stopped to say hello or say thank you with a bright smile on their face. They also steamed my oat milk for free and made personal recommendations on their variety of tasty baked goods! They have vegan and gluten-free options and carry *all of the milks* for anyone with a dietary restriction. Plus, one day, some of my fellow students and I wanted to stay there to study in the evening, but we got there just as they were closing. They offered to stay open another hour for us to stay and work! Isn't that so nice? We ended up going elsewhere cause we knew we'd be awhile, but I thought it was so sweet that they offered to stay open for us. Take my money, Shy!

I love this coffee spot! Service is always super friendly and their pastry and treat options are amazing!! They bake fresh croissants in house daily, sometimes they will even let you know when the next fresh batch will be ready! Their espresso based drinks are super well done, and they are always eager to create something to suit your tastes. Also they have a super cute little patio out front, giving very much European cafe vibes.

Mocha, chocolate energy balls and espresso

This is a great addition to the area. The interior feels very airy and French. The cafe fits about 20+patio space. I found 2 electrical power outlets and the Wi-Fi tested at 83/28. A pretty good Wifi speed. Makes for a good place for working. It's very busy which is a good sign of quality. I tried a couple of the energy balls - chocolate and mocha. Both pretty good. Large variety of pastries for the size of the cafe - sourced from great Toronto vendors - Sweetheart Kitchen, Circles + Squares, Delysees, Earth + City, Rawcology. Worth a visit.

Absolutely love this cafe! Decor is beautiful and is great for artsy photos. Lots of coffee and pastry options are available. They also have other milk options available which was great to hear. My family and I ordered cappuccinos and a matcha latte. The cappucino was great, however the matcha latte was lacking flavour and tasted very grainy (due to excess matcha powder). I would definitely return, however, I would probably order something other than the matcha latte.

There are four glass-top tables (with vintage books displayed within them) that can accommodate 3-4 people. There are also a couple of benches against the wall in the order pick-up area. Opposite to that is the neat window seating / bench area where I was able to make myself comfortable by sitting cross-legged on the seating cushion. °³ Overhead Venting: Sitting directly under the ceiling vents provided a welcome, cooling AC breeze in the tight space. °″ Basement Contrast: The clean and delicate aesthetic of the upper level sharply contrasts with the dingy, dungeon-like basement and stinky washroom. The stairway separating the two levels functions as an "inter-resting" transition zone--literally residing between the two tiers--featuring an installation wall where a megaphone, briefcase satchel, and a canteen are mounted directly onto a wooden display board. *To be fair, the actual seating area in the basement was aesthetically furnished similar to the upstairs but felt quite cramped. 댄스고 ======== For more content, follow @daenseugo

We were sucked in by the delectable looking strawberry roll cake in the display counter for an early dessert! The cake was light, fluffy, and not overly sweet, balanced with just the right amount of strawberry & whipped cream filling. We also shared a hot, unsweetened matcha latte. The bitterness of the matcha, creaminess of the frothed milk & whipped cream, and sweetness of the cake were a perfect culinary match :) Would definitely come back for another visit!
