The egg sandwich is amazing and my cortado was short, hot, strong, and yet milkly. Service very fast and friendly.

Thanks to a bakery x coffee shop partnership between Gateau Ghost x Milly's Coffee, I got to hit two birds with one visit! The Milky storefront at Dundas and Bathurst is tiny but super aesthetic with lots of decorative ceramics and cute niknaks to browse and purchase. Not to mention, service was top-notch. I ordered a couple items to try: HOT CHOCOLATE: Though milkier than I'd prefer, the chocolate notes still came through rather nicely. I enjoyed that it was a semi-sweet beverage and made at the perfect temperature for this cold winter weather. I got it with just regular milk and it was smooth to drink. Overall, not too special so I'll give it a 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. OREO COOKIE: I was very happy to have found an Oreo cookie that isn't paired with cream cheese! Yet, there's big enough cookie chunks for you to taste that flavor profile, coming through nicely, without an overload of sugar. It was chewy, the way I like my cookies and overall, probably the best Oreo cookie I've had (4.9 out of 5.0 stars) BROWN BUTTER RICE KRISPY COOKIE: A unique flavor profile that caught my attention when I heard the name. Same as the Oreo, the chewy consistency was perfect. As you approach more of the center of the cookie, you also get those rice krispy bits which weren't the crunchiest but added an interesting texture to it. This one definitely had a more sweet n' salty balance which was a nice touch. All in all, a very flavorful cookie that I really enjoyed (4.9 out of 5.0 stars). Hot chocolate ($5) Cookies ($3.75 each) Though my drink was a little underwhelming, I'll be visiting again when I get the chance as they do have some more unique offerings that I'd be interesting to have a taste. read more

I was really looking forward to trying the unique drinks I heard about here but was slightly disappointed by the slim number of choices. To go kind of coffee shop simply decorated. Been coming to Milky's for the past few years and I'm always impressed by the quality and taste of the coffee, along with their wonderful service. My go-to is always a warm cappucino. The espresso blend here is so creamy and delicious, and when paired with the warm steamed milk, it is a match made in heaven. Customer service: we had to wait because there was a max capacity of 2 customers at a time which was fine because due to covid this is the new norm. workers were very welcoming and helpful- elaborated on the menu and answered all our questions. i was also vlogging their place and they were friendly about that Drinks: we got the maple milk which had maple spices in expresso and milk. it was perfect for a cold day. i'm a big coffee person and found this to be great. my friend got the cha cha cha which was a matcha latte. this was also tasty. we found the matcha to have a distinct flavor which we're not used to be but we liked that it wasn't too sugary. this also use oat milk which is perfect for those who are lactose or vegan read more

Bright, relaxed café with inventive specialty coffee drinks. The menu was short and sweet, but I imagine they could do anything involving pulled espresso. I ordered one of their seasonal drinks: a "BnT" or banana espresso tonic. Delicate banana fragrance balanced well with the zing of tonic and espresso. Yum! We came here on an architecture adventure since the space was done by designers that formerly worked at Morphosis (also my partner's former employer). Thoroughly appreciated the detail of the space and thoughtful design. The baristas were quick with their service, kept to themselves, and let us enjoy the space for as long as we wished. For most of the time we were the only guests in the café. We felt at ease, happily hopped on their wifi and had a nice, afternoon hang. read more

I stumbled across this place a while ago and wanted to try it! I decided to visit on the weekend afternoon for a coffee. The place was not busy, has minimal sleek decor. There is limited seating place for 2-3 people but it was closed due to COVID. I had Cortado and it was perfect. We also had Oreo Cookie and it was nice. I had their specialty drink, Dirty French, and it was one amazing ice cold latte. It wasn't too sweet and it definitely hit the spot on the cold day. They have these environmentally friendly cups so you don't drink it out from a straw! My friend got the Cha Cha Cha (matcha with horchata and oat milk) which she loved! The barista was really nice and welcoming. The store itself looks very cute (looking from the outside). They have their cashier set up at the doorsteps so you can literally walk, order and leave. This place is kinda strange, but in a true Kensington market kind of way. It's 100% a takeout place, I don't think there was any seating or tables. The decor is modern, the cup lids are eccentrically in their signature pink, and if you want you can also pick up a $70 figurine of what looks like a kids toy made for adults? In case you can't decide in store, they've also got a huge online shop! But enough about that, their specialty drinks are where it's at. Overall 4.5/5 Came here random with my boyfriend after walking past it a few times and got a quick cup of coffee. The menu isn't too big, so we chose a latte to share. The cafe isn't super big but there's seating in the front window area if you're looking to bring a laptop and work at a cafe. It's a very quiet cafe so it's great to just sit here and concentrate on some work yourself. Our latte was pretty good as well, the coffee toast tasted a little on the dark side for me but that's personal preference. I had their specialty summer drink, the Cha Cha Cha made with matcha, horchata with oat milk and it was delicious and refreshing! I've heard so much about their lattes and will return in the cooler months to try this. The interior is beautiful but during this time (COVID-19) they have a table set up right outside where you can walk by and purchase a drink without having to go inside. Recently went to the location on Bathurst by Stackt and ordered an iced latte! It was so good. The coffee is delicious and the people who work there are friendly. I'm so glad they opened this location! You can get so baked goods to which they have. I'll have to try their hot drinks and even their lemonade coffee drink they told me about! I'm so glad I stumbled onto this coffee shop! It's a lovely little place with a beautiful interior. There are 2 small spots by the window that can fit 1-2 people as well as a small table subtly attached to the wall. I ordered a Flat White and it was very reasonably priced at $4. I'm not a coffee expert but it tasted nice and strong, it also came with a small cup of water. They also sell small baked goods, and some cute little ceramics. The drink menu carried some speciality drinks that I will definitely come back to try! read more

Cutest coffee shop on dundas! Very clean and minimalist decor. The coffee is pretty good and the barista is very nice to chat with. They have strapless cups which is a plus. Definitely not cheap coffee however. Worth a try for all coffee lovers! read more
