    Cinnabon cheesecake
    Ian N.

Great place to pick up a Cheesecake Factory cake in markham. Located near woodbine and highway 7. We picked up a 10am hour Cinnabon cheesecake. It was very good. They don't have the huge selection like they used to carry. The gave cupcakes and other deserts as well. A lot cheaper than driving to a Cheesecake Factory. Enjoy.

I'm so glad I came across Chris C's review of the Bake House, for I no longer need to cross the border to get Cheesecake Factory cheesecake! Not to mention this location is close to where I live! The Bake House is a wholesaler for Cheesecake Factory Cheesecakes and Dream Factory cupcakes (affiliated with Cheesecake Factory). They are located in the industrial area behind Dragon Legend restaurant near the Markham Costco. The products are frozen. You cannot buy individual slices of cheesecake. They sell whole cheesecakes, cupcakes, and fresh daily-made macarons prepared on site (they distribute their macarons to Loblaws and other downtown purveyors). You can buy a 6" cheesecake for $15-$18. They have their "Grand Selection" which includes 4 different pre-selected flavours of cake slices, which sells for $20. Larger 10" cheesecakes are available for $45. I came on a Monday and was looking for the Crazy Red Velvet cheesecake but they were out . I was told they get regular shipments during the week, and if you give them 1-2 days advanced notice, they will have your desired cake flavour on hand. I came away with a 10 pack of mini red velvet cupcakes for $10, a 6" white chocolate raspberry cheesecake for $18, and one dozen macarons (an assortment of pistachio, salted caramel, & hazelnut) for $20. The brother and sister owners even gave me samples of their cinnamon heart macaron and their chocolate mint macaron. I inhaled these samples when I got home. The macarons have the right chewiness and and crispy shell exterior. And for the wholesale price of $1.66 per macaron, this will be my new go-to place to satisfy any macaron cravings. The Bake House has been open for 2 years as an exclusively wholesale location, but in Autumn 2015 they started advertising and opening their doors to the public. They are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. (4/100)

Located in an area which looks like warehouses/offices. This is no dessert sit down place. Its more of a dessert business which caters to people making orders for parties or just people who want to purchase for wholesale. You can however come in and purchase items for personal consumption like I did :) They DO NOT sell individual slices of cake. You have to purchase the whole cake. They sell Cheese Cake Factory cheese cake and The Dream Factory cupcakes which are shipped from the US. I think the only things they make in-house are the macarons which sell by the dozen for $20 tax in. No option for purchasing individually. For macarons this is a pretty decent price since they only come to $1.67 each. Other places sell them for $2 to $3 each. The only thing I purchased were the macrons and I would have to say they were inconsistent in quality but above average for the most part. Some were overly moist and soft but then again some were done to perfection. The ones that were done right had a light outer shell with the perfect amount of chewiness in the middle. I tried most of the flavours but my personal favourites were vanilla and salted caramel. Overall, better than most places in terms of quality and price is on the lower side which is always good. Refer to my pics for the full listing of items and prices.

Grand Selections Cake -Four of their most popular flavours

While driving around the area, I noticed a sign for The Bake House saying that they are distributors for the Cheesecake Factory. I have always wanted to try some of their famous cheese cakes but never wanted to go all the way to Buffalo to indulge in it. What to do to? Go to The Bake House of course! Located in an industrial area, The Bake House is a wholesaler that is now open to the public. They supply Cheesecake Factory cakes to restaurants in the area as well as Dream Factory cupcakes, daily baked in store macaroons and some other specialty baked goods. This review is for the cheesecakes only. The Cheesecake Factory cakes come in 6 inch, and 10 inches sizes as well as a mixed flavoured combination cake. You can only buy whole cakes and not individual slices. The cakes are shipped and stored frozen in a freezer so just keep then there till you need to thaw it out. The 6 inch cakes are not pre-cut so you have thaw the entire cake at once. The 10 inch and mixed selection cakes are pre-cut and individually wrapped so they can be removed and thawed individually. Do note, the slices are not the size of the restaurant slices but more of the traditional sized slices which is a good thing:) If you never had a Cheesecake Factory cheesecake then I definitely would recommend the "Grand Selections" which is 2 slices each of the most popular flavours (White Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Mousse, Snickers Bar Chunks and Strawberry topped Original). I am very curious to come back some and try some of the other flavours as well as the cupcakes and in-store baked macaroons. The owners of the store are very pleasant to deal with and talk to. So sorry Buffalo, NY.. but I think I'll be visiting you a lot less these days...found another way to get my Cheesecake Factory fix!

I finally have a weekday off and come here to pick up cheesecakes. Then I learn that they are now opening saturday as well but limited hours, 10am to 3pm. They sell frozen Cheesecake factory cheesecakes and frozen cupcakes. They bake fresh macaroons daily on-site, $20 for one dozen of macaroons, you can mix and match the different flavours. I'm so excited to finally find a shop that carries different varieties of cheesecake factory cheesecakes.

The downside is that it doesn't make any drinks, unlike its Yonge and Eglinton location. I also recently found out that the Palgong Tea on Highway 7 in Richmond Hill offers The Social Blend macarons. You don't get the same extensive selection, but they are equally as creative and delicious. When I do visit the STC location, I park by Cineplex. It's by the main mall entrance next to Old Navy. I believe that it's entrance 2. It still has some construction happening. If you walk straight ahead from this entrance when you're in the mall, you'll see the back of The Social Blend. The name of the store is easy to spot. It's by Chick-fil-A. Staff here are always helpful and nice. I tend to have questions and they are great answering them. As usual, choosing macarons can be touch. I want all of them! I have had the following: - Watermelon - Green grape coconut - Raspberry - Tiramisu They were all super cute and yummy! You get a a lot of filling. It's not too sweet, which I like. The shell is crispy and chewy. The filling tends to be subtle, but yummy. So good! This store does not make drinks like its store on Eglinton does. However, it does have canned drinks. The Mulligan sparkling lemon black tea is excellent! I am happy that I have options to get The Social Blend macarons without hitting uptown Toronto. My experiences have been consistent. I'll be back soon. (385)

It's a great spot to grab a sweet snack and a warm drink. They have a full selection of flavors. The Korean macarons are nice since there is more filling. The whole pastry isn't sweet, which is always a good thing. They look so pretty and is perfect as a gift or to bring to a party. The smallest box set they have is 5 pieces. They also released specialty macaron sets as well, I've ordered the pokemon one last year.

Togo Cafe - Cross-section of my tiramisu macaron

I placed my order for these items: - Peach coconut milk latte - Tiramisu macaron I got a message saying that it would take ten minutes to prepare my takeout order. It was enough time for me to drive there from my home. This cafe is located at Skycity Shopping Centre. It's bubble tea places galore in this plaza, with bubble tea joints likely in the double digits. I found a parking spot steps away from the door. I backed into it and went inside. It was busy at around 6 pm on a Tuesday evening. There were four people inside the store. There were two couples I was the only one who didn't have a couple, unless you count my imaginary friend... haha I didn't know where to stand at first. I stood in front of the order area. A man came over. He was handling everything by himself. I let him know that I had a Fantuan order and rattled off the last three digits of the order. He found it and handed it over to me in a bag. The pickup area was where the couple of couples were. I thanked him and left. My peach coconut milk latte looked pretty. It kind of looked like neapolitan ice cream in drink form, minus the vanilla. I wasn't able to select the type of milk that I wanted. I assumed that it was regular milk that I got. I know that you can also get oat beverage here. I could taste the coffee and coconut flavours. It's the peach that I barely tasted. It was still a yummy drink. I was happy that it was flavoured, as I am not a regular coffee drinker. I was pleased to see that this place has macarons. I ordered a tiramisu macaron, which went for $6. It must be good for that price! I can say that it was awesome. It's this gigantic macaron with large shells and a ton of tiramisu filling with a bit of chocolate cake inside. If you ever want a crazy macaron experience, you need to get one here. I savoured it. It tasted like tiramisu, but I was eating a mini sandwich that was heavenly and delightful! It was such a special macaron. I'd treat myself to a gigantic macaron again. Me time. Macaron time. I'll be back to try a tea and another macaron. (343)
