I got the Togo signature latte, the drink was made pretty quick, but the drink itself just tasted a bit more better than an ice coffee it was not anything special. And this is their number one drink. I think there are better bubble tea places out there, it's a good effort but to my liking it was not that good. It tasted exactly like a Tim hortons or McDonalds ice coffee.

    Thick Coconut Milk Latte

My boyfriend and I stopped by ToGo Cafe for drinks and enjoyed the experience. I ordered the Thick Coconut Milk Latte, and he went with the Togo Signature Latte. The presentation of my drink was beautiful, but I found the coffee to be on the lighter side and was expecting a richer, thicker coconut texture from the milk to come through even when drinking, but it tasted and felt quite watered down, but this could have been a one-off experience, as my boyfriend's Togo Signature Latte had a stronger coffee taste and was quite enjoyable. The service was friendly and fairly quick with the ordering and serving of the drinks. The inside had a spacious waiting area making the place feel not too crowded.

We got the Osmanthus milk tea with 70 percent sugar and less ice ( there's no option to get cold but no ice like other locations ). Drink was 10/10! The tea taste was really pronounced and made just right . Sweetness was perfect too.. we usually get less sugar like 30% at other places but this was just right here . This place would have been a 5/5 but Customer service was lacking . It took a few good minutes before I was even acknowledged. She did give me a friendly smile though once she looked over .. followed by telling me to wait a few more minutes lol before she could serve me .

    1L Togo Signature Latte

Ordered 1L of the Togo signature latte. It was way too milky for my likings. Would probably try a smaller size or a different drink next time. Service was pretty quick even though they got pretty busy, which I appreciated. There were no tables and seats inside, mainly for takeout drinks and coffee.

I got the To Go Signature Latte iced. It was simple but good. But at $7.11 for medium, you can get it cheaper at Starbucks.

The downside is that it doesn't make any drinks, unlike its Yonge and Eglinton location. I also recently found out that the Palgong Tea on Highway 7 in Richmond Hill offers The Social Blend macarons. You don't get the same extensive selection, but they are equally as creative and delicious. When I do visit the STC location, I park by Cineplex. It's by the main mall entrance next to Old Navy. I believe that it's entrance 2. It still has some construction happening. If you walk straight ahead from this entrance when you're in the mall, you'll see the back of The Social Blend. The name of the store is easy to spot. It's by Chick-fil-A. Staff here are always helpful and nice. I tend to have questions and they are great answering them. As usual, choosing macarons can be touch. I want all of them! I have had the following: - Watermelon - Green grape coconut - Raspberry - Tiramisu They were all super cute and yummy! You get a a lot of filling. It's not too sweet, which I like. The shell is crispy and chewy. The filling tends to be subtle, but yummy. So good! This store does not make drinks like its store on Eglinton does. However, it does have canned drinks. The Mulligan sparkling lemon black tea is excellent! I am happy that I have options to get The Social Blend macarons without hitting uptown Toronto. My experiences have been consistent. I'll be back soon. (385)

It's a great spot to grab a sweet snack and a warm drink. They have a full selection of flavors. The Korean macarons are nice since there is more filling. The whole pastry isn't sweet, which is always a good thing. They look so pretty and is perfect as a gift or to bring to a party. The smallest box set they have is 5 pieces. They also released specialty macaron sets as well, I've ordered the pokemon one last year.

Went in and found it is a regular Chinese bakery. (Should have checked on yelp first as several others mentioned this in the past.) It's a small bakery, with wear and tear showing its age, but still had a number of offerings. We got six buns (not pictured) including red bean pineapple bun, pork bun, luncheon meat with egg buns, curry beef bun, and hotdog bun. We also got two cakes, chocolate and red bean&white chocolate cake. Total came to under $30. When we got in (around 2:45pm), the lady was on lunch break on the phone. We were already waiting up at the cash, trying to tell her our cake order but she was still on the phone for a while longer. She bagged the buns while on the phone. The cakes were not bad, the chocolate cake being a bit too dark for my daughter's liking. We enjoyed the lighter red bean and white chocolate cake. She did tape the cakes down in the box but they still ended up rolling around anyway, I guess from our drive/handling.

Great price at only around $3 each! Perfect with a cup of tea for an afternoon snack.

I actually wanted to bake one, but my decorating skills are not that advanced! I was intrigued by the good reviews of Sugar Peony, and knowing chestnuts are a family favorite, I went with the 6" French Chestnut cake. I placed the order over the phone with Linda (48 hours is required) and she assured me it would be fresh. I purchased a Groupon for a 6" cake at $28.80 and redeemed it with no problems. It seems the majority of people use a Groupon to purchase the cakes or macarons. I personally could not see myself paying the regular price of $58 + tax, so it was a good deal. I arrived just when the boutique was opening at 12 noon and met with Linda. She explained how she used fresh chestnuts and I was quite surprised because the majority of cakes, even from high-end patisseries uses chestnut puree. Linda said the puree would make the cake too sweet, so I was excited to taste it! The cake was fresh, moist and decorated beautifully. We are not fans of super sweet desserts, so if you are looking for a cake that is very low on the sweetness scale, these types of cakes are perfect. While the chestnut flavor was not predominant, the caramel flavored Callebaut "crispearls" added a nice textural crunch. The other flavors of cakes may be interesting to try next time.

From the sign in large letters outside, to the displays of macaroons by the counter, to the brightly painted interior, it is literally like a shining beacon in the middle of nowhere. The owner herself is also such a lovely lady - I could tell by her patience when I was placing my order (telling me all about the cake flavours, the ingredients, when and how to pick up, etc.) how dedicated she is to what she does. And it clearly showed in the dessert itself. I first chanced upon this store on Yelp, which mentioned a Groupon that offered a heavily discounted price - so of course I had to look into it. Using that (about 50% off) coupon, I ordered a chocolate élysée cake for Mother's Day. The cake came out even more beautifully than I expected, and was an absolute delight to eat. The varying layers of chocolate - the slightly bitter frosting, the richly sweet inside, the chocolate pieces decorating the top and sides - all blended perfectly, as did the textures, smooth and velvety throughout until you get to the wonderfully crunchy bottom. It was a feast for our eyes, too, as my mom commented that it was almost a pity to cut the cake apart - and the packaging is probably one of the prettiest I've seen (or maybe I just like the pink colour. Lol). Why 4 stars (instead of 5)? Well, I did come here on a Groupon...and the original price of $58 for a 6 inch cake is just WAY too much. If ever I need a specialty cake for an occasion, though, this place is on my radar. :)
