Edit: unfortunately have now tried the macarons, and had to drop my rating from 4 to 3.5. Very cute but everything we tried have severely muted flavours. The flavours were all very muted, except for the lemon, which was a nice sour. Takes "not too sweet" too seriously to the point where almost all the flavours are unrecognizable. My daughter kept asking me what each flavour was, and after trying a piece of each, I wasnt able to confidently identify the flavours except the lemon. Original review: Very cute and pretty selections. We got a panda raspberry cheesecake and the Butter Bear series macarons. The macarons came frozen and sealed in a box, we haven't tried them yet. The panda was ok, it came with a fork. The cheesecake was light but sour, not enough sugar. The raspberry filling didn't make it taste sweeter. I have a major sweet tooth and didn't like it much, but for those who don't like too sweet, you may enjoy it.

Stopped by Pablo Cheese Tart and tried their Earl Grey Basque Cheesecake and the Strawberry Matcha Soft Serve. The cheesecake was rich and creamy with a smooth texture. The soft serve was a fun combo: matcha ice cream topped with strawberry sauce and strawberry-flavoured crunch pieces. The matcha was smooth and creamy with a mild bitterness, the strawberry sauce added a sweet-tart contrast, and the crunchy bits gave a nice texture. Both items were solid, and I'd definitely come back to try more of their seasonal specials or one of their classic cheese tarts next time.

It's definitely nice to have a dessert shop with cheese cake around this area. It's located in a plaza next to Suntea and a sushi shop which is really convenient. If you want to grab drinks, sushi and dessert - they have it all at one plaza. They have a variety of flavors to choose from. They are also doing some promotions during certain days of the week. Mini tarts are $2.99 each, no tax if you get 6 or more - love this promo! I picked up 6 as it works out to be cheaper. I got the flavors originals x2, mango, tiramisu, purple yam and matcha. The person that worked there provided great service. He was very patient while I needed some time to pick out the flavors. So far I tried the tiramisu, rich in flavor, very smooth and delicious. Can't wait to try the other flavors! Highly recommend this place and I'll definitely be returning.

Nice little Japanese bakery located in a small plaza on 16th and Markham Rd. The bakery specializes in Japanese cheese tarts and cakes. There are a variety of flavours to choose from and you can get combo boxes for a small discount. If you pay cash, theres an additional 2 10% off. I loved the presentation of the take away box and it was really easy to transport without ruining the structure of the tarts. The flavours I got for the mini tarts were: pistachio, chestnut, strawberry mochi, purple yam, mango and tiramisu. I've only had the pistachio flavour so far and its not bad. The texture of the cheese filling is nice and fluffy and not too sweet. The only disappointing thing was that the filling has no pistachio flavour, but the decorative cream on top does. If all the other tarts are like this then it would be a bit disappointing as I didnt get much pistachio flavour from just the topping itself. Good to try but not sure if I'll return!

Kinda new to Markham! I'm not a huge fan of cheese cake but these cheese tarts aren't bad! Nice flavours not too cheesey. They make them in house so if any flavours are out of stock, ask! The original is my fave next to the pistachio. My only callout us the price but...hey...it's what it is.

Went there on their first opening this Friday (before it closes at 8pm), not many people are there. We picked up a few mini tarts to try - strawberry mochi, mango and chocolate flavors. We also tried the ube soft serve ice cream, it's really good, highly recommend! Since I live very close by, I'll definitely go again

Love their cheese tarts! And glad I don't need to venture downtown for them anymore. My go to is the strawberry cheese tart. It not only tasted great but also comes with a tasty mochi. Their matcha cheese tart is creamy with prominent matcha flavor but not to a point where it tastes bitter. Not a fan of red beans but the little bits of mochis inside was delightful! Their mango soft serve was a good size but I'd prefer a heavier mango profile. It was pretty light but refreshing. The dried mango slice is a nice touch. Came back again on their Canada's day promo which was 50% on all their items. Spent $24 for 3 mini tarts, 1 regular tart and a soft serve!

Walking by this cute little Japanese bakery and cafe, they are offering various of cheese tarts and macaroons, and combo as well.ordered a soft serve strawberry and sesame twist in a cone, it tastes great! Smooth and fruity, cone is crunchy and tasty too, will come back to try other items. Price wise is a bit pricey though.

It's nice there is a Pablo near my area so i don't have to travel all the way Downtown to try these popular Japanese based snacks. The large signature cheese tart is what they are primarily known for so I had to try one. It tastes almost like a cheesecake, with a thin layer of fruit jelly on top and tart crust. I also got to try some of their mini tarts, which were my preferred snack since these bite-sized desserts had really good creaminess to it and flavour. Note i went around 4PM, and by then a lot of items were sold out, so plan your trip accordingly.

We fancied some desserts tonight so we went to Pablo, this was our first visit and the experience was good. This is a nice little cake shop, it's clean and the layout is good to showcase their products. The only male shop staff was attentive, and he answered our questions politely. The cake varieties are good and the price points are so much better than Duo and Ruelo, but with competitive qualities. I'll definitely patronise again in future.

At was a few minutes away from Markville mall but I think the drive was worth it. They weren't lying that you could smell the cheese tarts right as you walk in. They also have soft serve and you could choose for a cone, cup, or even a custard filled croissant as the cone! There was also a nice collection of macarons from the social blend. The time I went (afternoon) was quite empty in the store. The cashier was very kind and patient with us too. Tiramisu mini cheese tart: 7/10 Presentation was nice and yummy but didn't taste much like a Tirumisu Original mini cheese tart: 9/10 It's was very creamy inside and the crust was crunchy yet not too hard Matcha mini cheese tart: 8.5:10 It's was a very strong matcha flavour which some might like or dislike Strawberry daifuku mini cheese tart: 9/10 The daifuku was such a nice touch to cheese tart, nice creamy strawberry cream in the cheese tart Crème brûlée mini cheese tart: 9/10 There was a nice crunch to the top when you bit into the tart, a custard was very creamy and flowed. Chocolate mini cheese tart: 8/10 It tasted good but there are chocolate cheese tarts better than this I have tasted Overall: Would come again! I have ent even tried half of what they offer like the macarons or their basque cake or their croissant soft serve!

I was so happy to see a Pablo in Markham - I drive by everyday on my way to work and used to love going to the downtown store. Their mini cheese tarts are amazing and they have so many varieties. My favourite is the apple cinnamon tart! They have buy 5 get one free!

The tray of pork floss buns hits the perfect sweet, salty, and fragrant balance. The fried chicken bun was a standout. Crispy juicy chicken with mayo inside a slightly sweet bakery bun is an unstoppable combo. The Garlic Hot Dog was pretty average since I couldn't taste any garlic at all. The curry bun could use more filling, but the pastry itself was flaky and flavorful. The cheese chicken bun was huge and super satisfying. We got it fresh so the outside was crisp and the cheese stayed gooey. We also grabbed their famous egg tarts. They kept selling out and the kitchen was scrambling to keep up, so we pre-ordered and came back thirty minutes later to pickup. Totally worth it. The crust is flaky and buttery and the filling is silky and creamy. In our opinion, these are the best egg tarts in the city.

Coconut bun which was soft, fluffy, and not overly sweet. Egg tart was also really good. Crust is very buttery crust with a silky custard center. The wagyu curry bun had a rich and flavorful filling with just a hint of spice. Spam egg pineapple bun was also really gooood and the egg salad bun too. Also got a hotdog bun because I like hotdog. The buns were all excellent. Prices are fair for the quality, and the staff is kind and welcoming. Definitely a new go-to spot when I'm craving pastries and buns!

Below are all the items I have tried so far, what I would rate them, and why: -[Minced Ham & Cheddar Cheese Stick]: 7/10 - wish it had more ham and more cheese but a solid bun overall. Not very filling so could consider making it better by adding more cheese/ham myself or actual sandwich ingredients -[Lava MT (milk tea) Mochi]: 10/10 - very flavorful but super hard to photograph -[Matcha Red Bean Mochi]: 10/10 - red bean paste filling is creamy and tasty. Green tea mochi compliments it very well too -[Ham & Egg Bun]: 10/10 - didn't get a photo of it but the egg is so silky that it looks likr a giant rectangular prism of pudding instead of egg. Adding cheese before toasting would make it even better -[Bonito Flakes & Crab Meat Bun w/Okonomiyaki Sauce]: 10/10 - get at least two of these next time. Only wish it were a little more filling -[Ham & Italian Cheese Bun]: 10/10 - has TONS of ham in it aka worth it -[Smoked Bacon & Swiss Cheese Roll]: 10/10 extremely flavorful -[Chicken Sausage & Cheese Bun]: 9/10 - has a bit of a tangy sauce on it as well. Good flavor combination -[Long Wiener Bun]: 10/10 - tastes like a dressed hot dog -[Ham & Cheese bun]: 10/10 - lots of cheese and ham -[Egg Salad Croissant]: 10/10 - has cheese and fried onions in it as well and a heaping amount of egg salad. Croissant is also extremely flaky -[Curry Beef Donut]: 3/10 - curry is on the sweeter side and the amount of filling is quite sad -[Mango Mochi] 10/10 - super sweet and juicy mango on the inside
