    Original cheesecake

Bake code has a variety of cheese tarts, cakes, and croissants to choose from. We tried their blueberry cake, mango mouse cake, original twice baked cheese tart, and mango cheese tart. My preferred option of the four was the mango mouse cake, and between the two cheese tarts preferred the slightly less cheesey mango flavour. Service is friendly, and you will be able to see displays of pastries lined up to choose from.

I've tried their different croissants before so I decided to try something new. I chose their ube coconut mochi crookie and the burnt bisque cheesecake along with the chatime bubble tea that's also offered at this location. The burnt cheesecake tasted like a cross over between a New York cheese cake and Japanese spongy type (think uncle tetsu) cheesecake. It was moist and just sweet enough. It did collapse once you pull the paper apart so it get ready to get messy. I enjoyed the different textures of the ube mochi crookie. Sweet layer of ube cookie melted on top of a crunchie croissant with chewy mochi center and ube paste in the center with a hint of coconut flavour. I liked that neither of the flavours overpowered each other and you get the sandwiched crunch, chewy sweetness in every bite. Will definitely return to try the other crookie flavours. As for the chatime bubble tea, they don't honor most of the promotions which are ongoing on other stores even though there's a signage but that's probably because this is inside a Bakecode shared store. (3 stars for that)

I have been wanting to try this place since a long time after seeing the viral reels on instagram but finally got to visit a couple days back and it was so worth it! Their collection of croissants and sweet baked treats are amazing and a lot of the flavour changes with season. I tried their pistachio, strawberry and almond croissants and all of them were SO good! Crisp and flaky from the outside and a generous amount of filling on the inside - all the croissants I tried were perfect! We also tried their Japanese cheesecake which was obviously not the best choice so we were disappointed with it but I'm eager to try out the other pastries that they had! The service is also nice and friendly and bonus is that they have a chatime inside the store so you can also order your favourite drinks from there! Not a lot of seating area though.

The pastries are really good. The service was prompt. There are a lot pastry options to choose from. They need a bigger seating area though.

I came here because my friend saw that they sold special flavored moon cakes, so I decided to check it out. I came on a Thursday evening and by the time I got here, they only had two flavors left; I ended up getting the black sesame flavored moon cake. It was a bit pricey, so I was honestly expecting to really like it since I do typically like traditional moon cakes. I bit into it and it was really try and I did taste the black sesame flavor, but it wasn't what I was expecting. The texture was really doughy and mushy. I was also expecting an egg inside, as most traditional mooncakes do contain the egg, but this one didn't. I was really disappointed in that. Overall, it was okay. The mooncake packaging, if I were to buy more, would have came in a cute box. But since I only bought one, I didn't get any special packaging which is fair. They sold other pastries and drinks here too, and there were some indoor sitting, but I got mine to go. The store wasn't busy when I got there, so I was in and out pretty quick. Staff was also friendly!

I can tell you everytime I go to this store I am far from disappointed! I ordered a vanilla dipped lemon curd croissant, and a variety of other things to try, and each one was surprisingly delicious. My guests also enjoyed what they had as well. The apple marzipan danish was also a hit, I loved this one, but I really can't wait to try the rest of their flavours!

The aroma drew me in as I walked by. The shop is very tidy and soft music is blasted through the speaker. I selected the Viet Coffee Croissant. The taste is spot on and I love that it includes a condensed milk shot. I'm certain it would have been pure blissful had it been warmed, but the server was pushy and I felt rushed.

You might love it, you might hate it. I LOVED IT SO MUCH. Fresh charcoal croissant with creamy mentaiko(salted pollack roe) filling & a touch of WASABI($5.20 tax in) from was a bomb. It can be easily one of my top 5 Bake Code croissants. It is one of April exclusive items. I believe they have this on the menu once in a while though. So if you miss this month, it will come back( hopefully) again. If you like Asian twist of French bakery stuff, go and try them. Also grabed another celebration box ($29) for a gift. I just love their celebration box so much. A perfect gift for your friends, coworkers that will not break the bank.

There is so many types of croissants here. It would take me several visits to try them all. They also have cakes, macarons, moon cakes and drinks. I've came here twice already. Everything looks so good. There is no indoor dining due to COVID-19 and they do not accept cash. They sell a box of 6 croissants for $25 which I think is a great deal. It would make a great gift for a foodie lover like myself. The croissants would be best eaten the same day. Or reheated in an air fryer. I did find the carrying box was hard to open and could improve.

I've never had croissants quite like this before. They are all freshly made each day and they have a variety of different Asian flavors/fillings inside! Also, the croissants were crispy & flakey which reminded me of the croissants in Paris. I got here on a Sunday morning at 11AM right when they opened. However, all of the croissants were not ready yet so I came back at 1:30PM when they had all of the flavors available. I ordered 6 different flavors and they came in a nicely packaged box. I decided on the Matcha Charcoal, Salted Egg, Viet Coffee, Honey Butter, Yuzu & Roasted Milk Tea. They were all so good but my favorite would have to be the Roasted Milk Tea and Viet Coffee. Total came out to be $25 and they even gave me a free macaron as well for the purchase of 6.

This is my favourite Asian Croissant place so far. WAY better than hazukido in literally every way. - large Croissants - buttery - cheaper than elsewhere (for what you get) - flavours are very strong (ie. If you did a blind taste test, you can easily tell what flavour you are eating) - so much variety - beautiful packaging that makes for a great gift I tried about 15 different flavours so far and hope to try more. My friends and I really enjoyed them all but my personal favourites are: kinako mochi, black sesame, chestnut, mushroom truffle Cons: - macarons arrived broken - one of my Croissants were wrong. I ordered matcha but got matcha cheesecake - delivery window is too broad. I can't always wait at home from 3-7pm.... The delivery tracking info only shows up 4 minutes before it arrives which is useless if you aren't home. At least 1 hr notice would be ideal.

Yummy croissants and buns! I wanted to buy some fresh snacks to bring home and decided to try out Bake Code. My favourite was the different croissants they have, one being the matcha croissant filled with matcha cream inside. As a matcha lover, this was so satisfying! A bit on the pricier end for pastries but definitely worth trying.

On the hunt for the best flavored croissants in Toronto! Here is what I ordered: - Black Sesame Mochi Croissant (August Exclusive) - Viet Coffee Croissant - Roasted Milk Tea Croissant All these croissants were perfectly flaky and flavorful. All them were so good, it's hard to pick a favorite! They have different special flavors each month!

Amazingly delicious croissants! Lots of flavours to choose from and I enjoyed all of them, but a lot of them are filled with custard inside.

The pastries and mochi breads are absolutely exquisite! I tried the black sesame mochi bread--light, pillowy, and filled with a delightful little white mochi surprise. The crème brûlée almond tart was incredible too, with its thick, eggy custard and a blueberry-almond center. And the Hitotoki matcha tart? Gorgeous and just perfect. It was my first visit, and I discovered the bakery through their 2nd-anniversary IG post. I bought about $20 worth of treats and got to spin their prize wheel--and I actually won the Grand Prize: a limited-edition gold Nespresso & milk frother kit! I literally jumped for joy. Yet another reason to love this incredible bakery!

It was okay. Tried three items:…read more Matcha Lava Tart - The staff said this had the strongest matcha flavour among their matcha items. But there was no "lava" at all... just a layer of cream sitting on a thick tart base. You do get some matcha flavour, but definitely not that rich and flowing matcha sauce I saw in those online reels. Matcha Mont Blanc - Too sweet. The green noodle-shaped topping is actually made from a kind of bean paste - not much matcha taste, but had a strong bean flavour instead. And again, it was too sweet to my liking. Taro Tart - This one was good. Taro-flavoured cream on top, with taro paste underneath, then a layer of custard with mochi at the bottom. Had a rich taro flavour. Still a bit sweet, but not as overwhelming as the Mont Blanc. Overall it was not bad, although TBH I haven't really found great matcha desserts in Toronto so far.

My wife always judges a French Cafe by their Butter Croissant ($3.00) and she liked it! She also noticed all the  staff speak French sp it gives it even more legitimacy.  She also ordered a Flat White ($4.50) which was also good. I ordered a Plum Almond Tart ($7.25) because it was the prettiest. It was super delicious so it was definitely a good choice! Service was courteous and friendly. You place your order at the counter and bring it to your table. Someone will come around to clear the dishes when you are done It is a great place to have a nice casual time eating and socializing. Hopped on my bike and a half hour later I was there. The friendly staff helped me by answering my question regarding eggs and which items did not have any in the recipes. This place was also super poppin' when I got there. It was earlish in the day around 10:30am and it seemed all the tables were pretty much taken. They are adding a dinner menu which is very exciting. Their pastries are phenomenal!!! Picked up a plum and pistachio tart, a chocolate mousse cake and an apple Danish for my mom. Plus a chocolate caramelized croissant. So much butter, and yet so good. Brought my container, which they happily used. The last time I visited this spot back in 2022, I vowed I would come back and take up space in that beautiful bay window seat. Yet I haven't followed through with that yet. One day. They also changed the name, since I was there last it was called Le Conciliabule Lab. Le Conciliabule means, "speak easy", as their website says. It was used back in the day to describe a place where people would come together and talk about everything and nothing. I can definitely say that happens here. What a beautiful concept, "everything and nothing". Now named Bisou, which means kiss. That's actually really simple and sweet. Since every pastry and any food item or beverage enjoyed here is a kiss for your tastebuds. Love it. Keep going team. You are amazing!
