Still on a macaron quest for the best, I decided to drop by on a Tuesday earlier this month, a day before heading to the office for the last time in 2024. The parking lot is behind the bakery. I had no problem backing into an available spot and walking over to the bakery. You can smell the butter as you approach the main entrance. I was excited to check it out. It has buns with various fillings. I completely ignored this section when I saw macaron sets in the display case. I wanted to get it for my friend and colleague. I also got six molten cheese tarts. They looked so good. I thought that it would be perfect to share with my small team. The woman behind the counter was so patient and friendly. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. I then carried my goodies to my car. My friend was happy to get the macarons. I haven't asked him how they were. I will when we are both back in the office. I'll need to get a set for me to enjoy. The molten cheese tarts were a hit. My friend and I loved how delicious and smooth the cheese tart filling was. It had a slight saltiness with the buttery crust that worked so well with the filling. My friend had two. I had two. I offered my manager one. He didn't hesitate. He took his first bite and was sucked into the heavenly goodness of this magical tart. I'm not kidding. It's amazing. I don't recall who ate the last one. I just know that it was gone and I had nothing to bring home. I will return and get some buns. The design is interesting to look at. The cake itself is not bad - not light nor heavy, just the right cake consistency. The black sesame cream has a hint of black sesame in it and adds moisture. The most controversial part of the cake is the little black sesame cubes on the top of the cake. These undeniably have more black sesame flavor but lean towards the drier side. I wish they were a bit more moist but still the black sesame flavor is nice. Price: I do find cakes here on the pricier side and while the flavors are unique, there's a lot of competition with other Asian bakeries where you can get a pretty similar flavor profile for cheaper.

Service: I made the order but the lady at the counter couldn't seem to understand me. I asked for 2 macaroons of each flavour.
