I'm so glad i finally made it out to visit them. Their croissants are so delicious, authentic, layered and crispy. We also tried their chocolate Ryusei and it was great! Just wish they were closer to us but it's worth it to get some tasty French treats!

Showing up at 8:00 in the morning guarantees that when you get your croissants, they are still warm. The only thing that makes getting tasty treats from this location difficult are the hours. Open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., it can be challenging to work around any work schedule. That said, Wednesday to friday, it makes a great place to stop on your way in. And, there is always the weekend. A large chocolate croissant, flaky and delicious, for only three and a quarter? How can that possibly be! 3.25 is an amazing bargain, the likes of which I haven't seen since 2005!

Delicious croissants!! Almond ones are sweet, crunchy, buttery and with filling. So good. Make sure to order before you come because they get sold out quick! The macarons are so pillowy! Light and airy filling and a sweet exterior with a slight chew. Yum!

I've driven on Jane St. in the past and noticed a line up on Jane and Annete. I've wondered the reason people were lining up, but never put much effort in finding out the reason for it. When looking for a patisserie in the area, I found out that Patisserie 27 was the reason for the line ups I'd witnessed in the past. Mystery solved! They offer a lovely variety of desserts, macarons, cookies, viennoiserie and breads. The pain au chocolat and almond croissant are nice; the pain au chocolat could have a bit more chocolat, the almond one tasted fine. For desserts, I've tried Kurumi, Kabocha and Hana. I found the Kurumi (almond meringue with caramel butter cream and caramelized walnuts) on the dry side; the caramelized walnuts at the top were a nice touch. The Kabocha (flourless almond sponge with white chocolate pumpkin mousse) had a very subtle delicate flavor; I was expecting a bit more flavor. Hana (almond sponge with pineapple mousse and toasted coconut) was absolutely lovely, moist and with wonderful pineapple pieces in the silky mousse. On their website, they have instructions on how to pre-order and avoid the line-up on Saturdays and Sundays. Service is friendly and pleasant. Limited street parking in the surrounding area. TTC routes 35 and 55 serve the area. TLDR; nice selection of unique sweets and pastries in the neighborhood

So delicious. The guy in front of us ordered three lemon tarts so I change my game plan and picked one of those because I figured they must be good! And they were, so tart and lemony. I got two Macarons, both were fantastic and I'm very particular. The almond croissant was unlike anyone I've had before, it was caramelized and somehow warm even though I don't think it was freshly baked. Definitely wish I lived closer but will make a special trip out again

My review is based on the food as I never actually been to Patisserie 27. My coworker brought in croissants from here and I had a chance to try one. By far one of the best I've had! The croissant was crispy and flaky, the perfect shape, airy and soft on the inside. Highly recommend their croissants, will need to visit again and try the other offerings!

I thought I explored most of the good bakeries in Toronto and then someone peaked my interest on a bakery out in the far west end. The clue was seeing the pictures of entrement and beautiful layered pastries. When I finally arrived at the non-descript storefront, the line up was at least 10 people deep. I have come to the right spot. The name give you any hints but it's an French bakery with strong Asian influences... I love the type of these bakeries which uses classic techniques with new burst of flavours to give you wonderful and enjoyable dessert. Though there is at least 4 people working the store, it is slow to go through the line up. They make coffee here and that takes a huge chunk of time. They also dont take any credit cards ... only cash and debit cards. Just have some patience... the baked good are totally worth it. The store is mostly for take out as it is quite small and there is only 2 tables made for 2 people each. It is clean and cute with a country folk seasonal decorations thrown in. Almond Croissant - My first bite of Patisserie 27 was of the croissant and I knew this place could compete with the best in Toronto. Buttery, flakey, and light... this croissant brought all the right qualities without having the almond paste being too sweet or syrupy to mash and dampen the layers. Solid croissant. I still think Tempered Room has a better dough flavour but Patisserie has the golden beautiful layers that are envious. 5/5 Mixed Berry Turnover - bright soft berries are cradled in soft beautifully layered layers. I found the turnover not as butter flavoured or as flakey but every bite is still delicious. They often rotate the fillings so you can try different ones on different days. 4/5 Vanilla Flan - Creamy and soft flan that has a light vanilla flavour inside a shortbread butter crust. This one is good.. it almost as good as my favourite from Tempered Room. This one is much more shallower so theres more crust to the flan. I happen to love the flan so I like the larger flan one from Tempered Room. 4.5/5 Kombucha White Chocolate Pistachio Entrement - A wonderful example of the Asian influences combined with traditional technique. I loved how it was well balanced so the vegetal and nutty notes shine through. It was just the right amount of sweetness and the texture was just gloriously creamy. It's an awesome Thanksgiving alternative to the traditional pumpkin pie. 5/5 This is a great bakery to try good french viennoiserie but also new Asian influenced desserts that you cannot find in other places.

I was craving a butter croissant and someone in the blood west neighbourhood recommended i venture north to try out this place. What a delight! Walking in, I was reminded of a simple bakery, the kind you will find in parts of Montreal or in France. Unassuming and friendly, this patisserie cafe was just perfect. The butter croissants were perfectly flaky and the butter was light and not overpowering. What a gem!

The pastries and mochi breads are absolutely exquisite! I tried the black sesame mochi bread--light, pillowy, and filled with a delightful little white mochi surprise. The crème brûlée almond tart was incredible too, with its thick, eggy custard and a blueberry-almond center. And the Hitotoki matcha tart? Gorgeous and just perfect. It was my first visit, and I discovered the bakery through their 2nd-anniversary IG post. I bought about $20 worth of treats and got to spin their prize wheel--and I actually won the Grand Prize: a limited-edition gold Nespresso & milk frother kit! I literally jumped for joy. Yet another reason to love this incredible bakery!

It was okay. Tried three items:…read more Matcha Lava Tart - The staff said this had the strongest matcha flavour among their matcha items. But there was no "lava" at all... just a layer of cream sitting on a thick tart base. You do get some matcha flavour, but definitely not that rich and flowing matcha sauce I saw in those online reels. Matcha Mont Blanc - Too sweet. The green noodle-shaped topping is actually made from a kind of bean paste - not much matcha taste, but had a strong bean flavour instead. And again, it was too sweet to my liking. Taro Tart - This one was good. Taro-flavoured cream on top, with taro paste underneath, then a layer of custard with mochi at the bottom. Had a rich taro flavour. Still a bit sweet, but not as overwhelming as the Mont Blanc. Overall it was not bad, although TBH I haven't really found great matcha desserts in Toronto so far.

My wife always judges a French Cafe by their Butter Croissant ($3.00) and she liked it! She also noticed all the  staff speak French sp it gives it even more legitimacy.  She also ordered a Flat White ($4.50) which was also good. I ordered a Plum Almond Tart ($7.25) because it was the prettiest. It was super delicious so it was definitely a good choice! Service was courteous and friendly. You place your order at the counter and bring it to your table. Someone will come around to clear the dishes when you are done It is a great place to have a nice casual time eating and socializing. They make all their food in-house in the basement. There are products for sale such as coffee beans, fruit syrup, maple syrup, smoked sauces, olive oil, scented soap, wine glassware, etc. I will definitely come back again to try other items. Hopped on my bike and a half hour later I was there. The friendly staff helped me by answering my question regarding eggs and which items did not have any in the recipes. This place was also super poppin' when I got there. It was earlish in the day around 10:30am and it seemed all the tables were pretty much taken. They are adding a dinner menu which is very exciting. Their pastries are phenomenal!!! Picked up a plum and pistachio tart, a chocolate mousse cake and an apple Danish for my mom. Plus a chocolate caramelized croissant. So much butter, and yet so good. Brought my container, which they happily used. The last time I visited this spot back in 2022, I vowed I would come back and take up space in that beautiful bay window seat. Yet I haven't followed through with that yet. One day. They also changed the name, since I was there last it was called Le Conciliabule Lab. Le Conciliabule means, "speak easy", as their website says. It was used back in the day to describe a place where people would come together and talk about everything and nothing. I can definitely say that happens here. What a beautiful concept, "everything and nothing". Now named Bisou, which means kiss. That's actually really simple and sweet. Since every pastry and any food item or beverage enjoyed here is a kiss for your tastebuds. Love it. Keep going team. You are amazing!
