We recently revisited Laduree after almost 5 + years. My oldest had, (love the sound of that!) a tree nut allergy and almonds in our home were a hard no. I had to bring her here for a taste of the best macarons for her first try. These still taste incredible, amazing and of fine quality. Just as they were on our last trip to Paris! We ordered a variety. I would be lying if I said we slowly enjoyed these - they were devoured by the 4 of us as soon as the box was opened. The flavours and textures are still exceptional and still remain my fav for macarons.

I wanted to visit Laduree Paris Yorkdale Shopping Centre location for a long time but it is always full house on the weekend. Finally, I have a chance to visit this place when they first open on a Friday morning. I ordered the same items as I did at the Laduree Paris location more than a decade ago and the following are my experience. - The café is nice and quiet on a Friday morning. Therefore, I can peacefully enjoy all this treats. - Service is good for café standard but nothing fancy. - The Ladurée Viennese Hot Chocolate and Ispahan tasted similar to the Paris location. - Their toast is special, there are nothing that I am aware that tasted / texture similar in other cafes. - The Ladurée Omelette is overcook compare to the Paris location. Overall Laduree Paris Yorkdale Shopping Centre is a nice place to enjoy a morning brunch with your love ones but I will try to avoid the weekend crowd.

Such a cute place to get together for some afternoon tea; the pink background was a perfect photo opportunity for pictures in our Barbie move outfits. The food was even a little more than enough for each of us, with a good variety of set and choice items. The service was solid and timely; we had no trouble getting everything we needed. Overall, a lovely experience.

The pros: this place is sooo cute and feels like you're transported to Europe. You get a whole lot of food, though some of the food is delicious and other food is meh. Personally, I didn't love the sandwiches and the salad was just berries. Their baked goods, both sweet and savoury, are delicious, especially their macarons. And you get their line of teas to choose from. The cons: no scones and afternoon tea feels incomplete without them. The sandwiches. The price is on par with most other afternoon teas so expensive but average when compared. Service was fine - friendly enough.

It was my first time trying Ladurée macarons, I knew there was a hype for this store and have always wanted to try them. I really liked the store it was so extremely cute! I saw that half the store was also a cafe, maybe they offer high tea? They had many macron flavours to pick from and I purchased the 8 piece box ($28.00) which I think is average price for macrons. These macrons were very tasty perfectly chewy, crunchy and not to sweet. Would I come back again? Maybe if I wanted to buy the brand but I feel like I still prefer macrons from Daango Cake Lab more.

I've been a Laduree fan for many many years and have been ordering from the Toronto branch ever since they opened up in the city. I love Laduree for their flavours, quality, and service. I've also been ordering sets of 24 for delivery out of GTA and they've always arrived in perfect condition. but I want to highlight the stark difference between Laduree macarons and other macarons in the market that I've noticed recently. a week ago, I forgot that I had another box of macarons I hadn't eaten in the fridge that I was supposed to finish already (due to freshness). I don't often leave them uneaten for more than a week, but I was more preoccupied than usual and I had just gotten to them. when I say I was surprised by the freshness/quality of the macarons is an understatement. the taste was still the same. the softness, the crunch, the texture... though not exactly the same as first day batches, still wowed me. other macarons I've had (from other businesses) after a few days were not as soft and delicious as Laduree macarons and I think this is a testament of why I'm still a fan until today. safe to say that I'll be ordering again next month. and the next. my favourites are rose, birthday cake (might have been seasonal/limited edition), and marie antoinette.

I came here to get some Macarons to go so I bought eight for around $30 there was only one flavour that was sold out when I went around noon. The Macarons had a really delicate texture and also some greens which I really enjoy when it comes to eating Macarons. I got the pistachio, hazelnut, vanilla, Rose, Marie Antoinette which is a black Tea leaf flavour, Orange blossom. I gifted most of my Macarons away but I really enjoyed the vanilla and I thought the roses also really nice considering how most rose flavoured items are very overpowering but this one had a very nice to you like finish to it very light and refreshing. The one thing I would caution people with a peanut allergy is there is cross-contamination I believe every single one had traces of peanuts in it.

Ladurée Located in Yorkdale Mall This boutique and tea salon is known for their French macarons with such a large range of exquisite flavours. We were recommended to dine in and try out their tea salon as they serve afternoon tea sets. The tea salon has a special menu that is only available for dine-in that consist of classic French dishes and Parisian afternoon sets. We had to try their Afternoon Tea! This set consisted of a mini 3-layered tower, a seasonal fruit salad and a choice of hot drink. Starting off with the bottom layer, the savoury items included the assortment of 3 savoury tartlets with the choice of two finger sandwiches. For our finger sandwiches, we chose the smoked salmon and avocado & piquillo. We found these items mediocre. The tartlets were a little hard in texture, and the sandwiches were mainly bread. The second layer contained more sweet rather than savoury treats, and had 4 different items. Madelines Mini Vanilla Choux Mini Tartlette Passion Framboise Mini Temptation Cake Finally the top layer consisted of 3 macarons of your choice. We opted for marie-antoniette, raspberry and passionfruit flavours. These macarons can never go wrong, and were crunchy and soft. On the sides of this set came a seasonal fruit salad, and a drink. The seasonal fruit salad was super refreshing from all the sweets and treats on the tower. As for our drink, we had the option of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We chose to try their hot chocolate, and it did not disappoint. The hot chocolate was super rich and thick, and we loved it!

What's not to love! Afternoon tea? Cakes? Macarons! Cucumber sammiches.. all neatly packed/ baked/ serve. It's always a feast for the eyes. And tastebuds too but mostly for my eyes. Their afternoon tea was a great way to try their sandwiches. I love the tea! And naturally, their macarons, gorgeous cakes. Pistachio being my favorite. The macarons takeout/ boxes are great for gifts too and ya don't have to fly to Charles de Gaulle for it. It's a win win.

We love Ladurée and were so glad to find a location inside Yorkdale Shopping Centre. Indoor seating is available. Restrooms are in the back and clean. Employees are friendly, helpful, patient, and wrapped our goodies neatly. This is still by far some of my favorite macarons. It's pricey, but I appreciate the quality ingredients and flavor. Slightly crisp outer shell and soft within. The filling is also cool, creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet. Tried their Lemon Cake and Langues de chat and both were well prepared. So fresh and flavorful. Glad we got a chance to visit this location.

I came for Afternoon Tea with a friend, and was pretty underwhelmed from the experience. The food was tasty, but the portions were extremely small for what you pay for ($75 with taxes). The service was also very slow despite there being several waitresses walking around.

So I've had macarons at plenty of places including in and around Europe and Paris. These are on point! They are the perfect consistency of the right crispy and moistness. The flavors are amazing! I got pistachio and the Marie Antoinette (from recommendation of the employee), but flavors were made to perfection. My only regret is I wish I had gotten more macarons. They even had cute Lunar New Year stamped macarons, but those had to be special ordered to get them. I wish they had some in the display case they were so darn cute. There was also macaron gelato that I wished I would have gotten, but just had dinner and was far too full. They have a cute little sitting area for their tea room, but when I went it was late in the evening and the tea room was already closed. I'm glad I was able to get a few macarons, they were so delicious. I highly recommend going here and I would suggest getting multiple flavors so that you can try them all.

I walk by this store so many times, but never have stepped inside until I realized they actually take reservations on OpenTable, so we decided to give it a try on a weekday when the mall isn't as busy and boy, the place got busy quickly! Our brunch dishes honestly wasn't the best, but maybe we'll come back to try their afternoon tea sets next time! 3 out of 5 stars for the ambience & decor but food needs to be improved. Overall, a pretty place for a nice ladies afternoon tea with insta-worthy macarons!

Perhaps it's because of the colourful display from the moment you step inside, or the seemingly endless list of flavours on the wall staring back at you, or maybe it's because the moment you swing open the door, a friendly storeowner readily appears at your service? Hm... what will I have today? Pro tip: as the store owner would tell you, wait a few min for the ice cream sandwich to thaw before biting in. About 5 min is good and enough time to take Yelp pics. The only unfortunate thing for me is that they're downtown and I'm uptown! Regardless, I always make an effort to drop by whenever I can. Their opening hours are not too friendly though... But I guess you can say that adds to their appeal. This little shop could really use more publicity. I believe we have to get more people eating macaron ice cream sandwiches this summer.
