    Mango matcha

The matcha is absolutely delicious. There's a wide variety of fresh desserts. The atmosphere of the renovated space is super cute and relaxing.

Came here on Saturday morning before a hair appointment. The service was so friendly and welcoming. I ordered an iced white mocha espresso and a crookie. I did come back later and in the afternoon and I got a pistachio croissant as well as a biscoff eclair. The staff remembered me from the morning and it was a nice touch that they remembered me. Pastries are delicious. Coffee is delicious. Literally no complaints.

I heard of this place and I heard good things so I had to try to. We got the tiramisu croissant and pistachio wheel crossaint. You have to get here early because a line starts forming really quickly, the croissants are super light and crispy on the outside and the filling is so good and what I like about it is not too sweet. The pistachio croissant was my favourite, the filling was incredible and the pastry was super light. I can come back to Kensington just for this place I don't like sweet desserts and this place hits the spot.

I got the matcha tiramisu latte and a pistachio croissant. The matcha tiramisu latte is one of their more popular drinks accordingly to the barista who took my order. It comes with a lady finger on top which was nice to dip into the drink. Under the foam layer, it seemed like there was like a thicker cold foam/whip. The pistachio croissant was heavily topped with nuts and was filled with pistachio cream - very strong pistachio flavour all around! There are 2 bar seats at the window facing the street and there are a few steps that lead to another level with a few more bar seats.

Finally made our way to Little Pebbles downtown yesterday. We thought their pastries were a bit pricey but quite delicious! Our favorite was their match cream cube - you could really taste the freshness. The only disappointment was their black sesame latte; it was quite bland and could have used a tad bit more black sesame. Service was also good, there was a line up when we arrived and moved at a moderate pace.

Kensington has many great places to grab food, but where to go for a nice warm cup of Matcha? I was drawn to Little Pebbles because of the cute name and the pastries to match. There were not many places to sit, but the counter person was kind and welcoming on this cold afternoon. I ordered a Vanilla Matcha latte and an almost too-pretty-to-eat pistachio croissant. Both were delicious; I would love to return and try more of their delicious treats. BB

Great matcha spot! They hand whisk their matcha per order so you know it's legit. It's right next to a Jamaican patty spot. Small interior, not really meant to do work but a great spot to get good matcha!

Drink Quality: N/A Drink Selection: 5/5 Pastry Quality: 4/5 Pastry Selection: 4/5 Price: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 3.5/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Location: 3.5/5 This café offers plenty of indoor seating as well as a patio. The drink selection is diverse, including coffee, smoothies, and even alcoholic beverages. Bagels are a standout, and the menu features a variety of tasty sandwich options. Fancy croissants--such as matcha and tiramisu--are available for $6. The indoor space features vibrant, floral-themed décor, though the overall design could be more cohesive. There is no air conditioning, so it can get stuffy on hot summer days. Service is friendly but quick and transactional, with limited interaction beyond taking orders. A ramp at the entrance makes the café wheelchair accessible, enhancing its overall inclusivity.

Came here for their viral tiramisu latte and it did not disappoint. It's a small cozy and warm cafe, with friendly staff. They have a great selection of fresh bakery items, and coffee selection of course, something for everybody. The tiramisu latte was smooth, creamy, rich, sweet, and deeply satisfying. It came with a ladyfinger, which was perfect for dipping into that cream. It felt like a dessert in a cup, but coffee. Perfect for when you want a treat and a caffeine kick. I've had a lot of tiramisu lattes, and this one is definitely at the top. I would 100% recommend.

This tiny cafe in Kensington has become one of my regular spots. It's very small--seating is limited--but the cozy vibe adds to its charm. I keep coming back for their matcha latte, coffees, latte, and the Basque burnt cheesecake. They usually hit the spot and leave me happy every time. The drinks are consistently well-made, and the cheesecake is rich and delicious--most of the time. There was one visit where the cheesecake was still partially frozen, which wasn't great, but that's been the only off experience. Overall, it's a great little spot for a treat or a quiet coffee break if you can snag a seat.

I really love this place; cozy and small café with creative menu options and helpful staff. Depending on the time of the day you arrive here, they might have different options to choose from. So far, I have tried their matcha tiramisu and cube croissants. And loved both of them. The cakes and pastries are fresh and tasty. You can also use cube croissants as a birthday cake. Lol

Croissants stuffed with filling that was indescribably delicious.

The pastries here are -- amazing! There's about six seats in the whole place, in a bizarre layout, and the queue management is a bit difficult while waiting for orders, and the coffee was meh, but the croissants-cum-fancy-pastries are sui generis and worth the visit all by themselves. The decor inside was actually very funky and cute, and if we'd been able to linger without feeling guilty we were occupying some precious seats, we would have.

Super cute coffee shop in Kensington Market! I tried the tiramisu latte and almond chocolate croissant. My latte was super creamy and delicious. A little heavy on the cream. The croissant was just ok. The inside space is very small with limited seating.

So the bear itself in the affogato was a solid icy chunk of milk (coz we chose the milk flavour) that just frozen. We added the affogato on top of it and while it looked aesthetic, the dessert didn't make sense at all. We were unable to break the frozen chunk or be able to mix it with the coffee and the coffee mixed with that frozen chunk submerged tasted really bad. Paying $16 for that wasn't worth it at all. The bingsu was good though. We got the mango bingsu bowl and it came loaded with mangoes and a marshmallow and an oreo cookie to make it look pretty! I don't think I'd come back to try anything else here. Was a little disappointed.

I requested to be lighter on the chocolate but there was still a LOT of chocolate on our waffle. The mango smoothie was refreshing and sweet. I started going to Holy Choco when they first opened and their service was really good from some of the owner. Super attentive and caring staff. Unfortunately, it's since gone downhill since they've hired new staff and we had a number of small problems when visiting this time (dirty tables, dirty cutlery, requested if our food could be put in to go containers because they didn't want to do dishes, unfriendly, etc.) I hope they improve upon these staffing issues soon. The interior is nicely decorated with a cute angel photo op in the back, and window bar seats and couches to choose from. Great spot for 2-4 people. I stopped by Kream after seeing all the hype on Instagram about the famous Korean "Dubai…read morechocolate." When I saw the price was $9.90 per chocolate, I was honestly a little surprised, bc it's sold under 7 per chocolate in Korea. But they were running a promotion until the 15th -- 5 for $30 -- which made it much more reasonable. I've never had the original version sold in Korea, so I can't compare it directly, but from what I've seen and heard, it seems pretty similar to what's trending there. Korean reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and people say it tastes just like the viral version. The texture is definitely chewy, just like the name suggests, and it's very sweet. Personally, it was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's just my preference. That being said, I gave some as gifts and they absolutely loved it. So if you enjoy rich, sweet desserts -- or you're looking for something trendy and fun to share -- this would be a great choice. The shop itself is small and cozy, but very welcoming. The staff were friendly and made the experience pleasant. Overall, even though it's not exactly my personal favorite flavor-wise, I can understand the hype. It's a fun treat to try at least once, especially if you've been curious about the viral Korean Dubai chocolate trend. I'd recommend stopping by and taking advantage of the promo while it lasts!
