I made reservations before going to afternoon tea today. It's quite small so be sure to make reservations! As soon as you enter, you will see all the cute and delicious looking desserts they offer like macarons, cookies, mini donuts, and macaron ice cream sandwiches. The three of us chose the $30 high tea menu for today. I ordered the Sloan heavenly cream tea which was definitely heavenly and creamy. My friends got the peaches and cream and jasmine pink lemonade tea's. Everyone enjoyed their chosen tea. When the savoury and sweet stand came out, we all had to take photos first since the camera eats first ;). All the food that we had were delicious! I think it's the best out of the other high tea places I've been to. We finished off by having the desserts which were disappointing compared to the food. The pink macaron I had was overly sweet and the shell was dense. I also didn't like the mini donut as it was overly sweet. My friends tried the truffles and it didn't seem like they really liked it. Overall, the experience, atmosphere, and food were great! Dessert was not that great. We didn't buy any desserts at the front of the shop so not sure if they would be good or overly sweet like the ones in the high tea menu. read more

I had ordered a custom cake for my boyfriend's birthday, and it came out absolutely fantastic! I had placed and paid for my cake online through their website and picked it up about two weeks later. My cake was even ready for pick-up about an hour or so ahead of schedule, and once I picked it up it was exactly to my specifications I had requested the Vanilla buttercream frosting with a chocolate cake base, in pastel yellow. I also added a couple Macarons and a 'Happy Birthday' edible topper for the occasion. IT WAS SO CUTE! I wish I had a better photo of the pastel yellow color, because it was just lovely (the daylight really washed out the color in my photos, it was much brighter in person!). The taste was even better, the frosting was delectable and not over-powering, and the cake was very moist. When I was picking it up, the ladies at the shop were so sweet and friendly. I also saw their Easter treats in the display and now I will be coming back in April just for those! All in all, I am glad Brampton has a wonderful Bakery/Patisserie like Macaron Z! Macarons in colour of rainbows.... Hot Pink? Turquoise? Peach? Dark Green? Deep Violet? Sexy Red? The funny thing is some of the colors has no direct coordination to the flavours..... The macarons at $2 each though not the best I had but the flavours are quite intense! Love the real pieces of pistachio in the butter cream filling! The set up though a little awkward, not too welcoming for staying in. I would wait for my Yelp friend do a review on the $3.95 peanut butter tart... at that price, it better be good? read more

Second year in a row I ordered my girlfriend's cake from MacaronZ. She absolutely loved her birthday cake from this year. I got compliments from many people about the cake and wanting to know where I got her cake. A chocolate cake covered in beautiful icing art, melted white chocolate top and little Macarons decor. Since I live in USA I could not visit my niece on her birthday so I decided to order online a dozen assorted macarons as well as 6 various mini donuts. Their website was easy to use. I emailed plus called them with a couple questions and their customer service was excellent too. My family all enjoyed the desserts, wish I could try it :( I also liked that they added a detailed card with the various flavors of macarons and donuts. Macarons were really tasty. A bit too sweet for my taste, but overall they were delicious! My friend and I bought half a dozen each, but when they opened their box they saw that they were missing a macaron. We went back to the store and the staff there were very accommodating. They apologized and gave her an extra 2 macarons, free of charge. Great service! If I'm ever in the area, I'll definitely be stopping by here to try out some more of their flavours. read more

I get so confused every time I walk in and see macarons with different colors, and different flavors. It's so hilarious because I expect a certain flavor to have a certain color so now we all know that our eyes play silly tricks on us! In a quaint little storefront that is easy to miss - a very small gem of a shop is located not even steps away from the Brampton Library. MacronZ is definitely a cute little place with a big heart. As you walk in, the whiff of fresh macarons hits you in the face, and as you stare at the board to the left of you, your heart fills with desire as you see the flavors they have in stock, as well as the seasonal ones too! My absolute favorite would have to be the pistachio, cookies and cream, and ube flavoured macarons! Not only did these score serious brownie points, but the designs, oh the designs were absolutely amazing! So much love and care goes into making these delectable desserts that if you were to just have one bite, you'd be hooked! One thing I will mention, however, is that they only take credit or cash so if you go to check them out, make sure you bring either or along with you! I promise you won't be disappointed! read more

It's a cute little place however I think they would have done better at Square One. The macarons are ok, I've had better. With all the hard work and headaches involved in making macarons I can see why they are $2 each. If you are looking for something sweet and special to give as a gift and are tired of giving out chocolate, this would be a nice option. They also have cupcakes which I think have a lot of sugar and egg whites in them as the texture reminds a bit of macarons. If they were closer I'd probably visit again but will not drive there just for the macrons alone. Oh, and speaking of gift giving they do have a small stand with some very simple but interesting jewelry from Paris. Again, it's a cute little place. You must go there see for yourself. read more

I've had their macarons before but I went to their high tea for the first time with my friend. We couldn't stop gushing at how cute everything was, from the decor to the food items. We loved most of the items on their menu and everything tasted fresh and was well made while portions were great too. Definitely worth going to. read more

Cute little bake shop in the heart of downtown Brampton. We have booked a Sunday High Tea session for a group of 6. Reservation is needed ahead and they have two sessions (12:45-2:45pm & 3:00-5:00pm). There are only 3 tables in there (one can accommodate a party of 6, another one for about 4 and the last one for a party of 2). The decor is really nice and the high tea experience was great. The owner greeted us and she was really nice. She offered a selection of tea from Sloane Tea (a Toronto base company). I picked the creamy black tea and it was delicious. We each got our own tea pot, and baked good tray which was very nice and pretty (picture worthy for sure, bring your camera) The menu vary but we all got the same that day. 2 mini quiches (Tomato and a Cheese & Herbs) a Cream Scone with Cream & Mrs. V's Preserves, 2 French Macaron (we got the one caramel and one chocolate dipped), a Shortbread Cookie and a Strawberry Profiterole. We paid $20 each but I think they have just raised their prices to $25. This is a great place for a girls date. I would recommend it. read more

This place is incredible! The set up has this adorable Paris theme and there's soooo many flavors to choose from! There's also cupcakes, and chocolates and cute baking utensils. They have macarons according to holidays and macaron cakes too. The recipe's are incredible, especially the pistachio buttercream and the pina colada. The pina colada is delicious! Birthday cake is my favourite:) This place is amazing and the price is definitely worth it. Especially with all the hard work put into them. A few friends and I were going to T By Daniel and we thought that since this macaroon place was close we could go in for a quick macaroon with our tea. We were wrong. The store was very awkward to stay in seeing as they only had one table with two chairs and we had four people. It was a small space not really used to its full potential but it did have a cute Parisian setting going on. There was many different flavours of macaroons, at first we didn't know what to choose, we chose 6 macaroons so it would be tax free. (Peanut butter, birthday cake, lemon raspberry, salted caramel, red velvet, cookies and cream) But when we got it home, we had trouble telling which macaroon was which seeing as some flavours didn't have coordination with the appearance. The macaroons did have a delicious appearance but the macaroon cracked under my fingers immediately. The inside was not very flavourful, it tasted only like almonds although I had asked for the birthday cake flavour. They had some cute displays which didn't really tie in with macaroons. And if you're going here make sure to preorder something so that you're not stuck just buying these macaroons, it's not really worth it. They do a pretty bad job of catering to customers, with only accepting cash payment and not having nut-free choices, they make all their macaroons with almonds which cuts down a pretty large percentage of customers. One of my friends having a nut allergy was pretty upset that she couldn't have any macaroons but when we told her how much we disliked them she didn't seem so bothered anymore. This is a cute place but I don't want to go back here, although it's a specialized store the macaroons weren't very good and it's not somewhere I want to carry cash around for. read more
