Nice Macarons, nice flavours and good variety.. I found them a little too sweet, but the flavours are definitely there, it's not only sugar I tried the pistachio, chocolate hazelnut, strawberry, cotton candy and vanilla. Prices are not bad, about 2.85 or something a piece, and they sell them in bulks, in a nice white rectangle box.. Good place, local in the area, great variety

Pictured: lemon cake, dulce de leche, birthday cake and rose champagne. Not pictured (in my stomach): salted caramel and pistachio.

I have not been to Vaughan Mills for ages (I seriously cannot remember the last time - maybe like three/four years ago?) so I was pleasantly surprised to see this little macaron kiosk set up there. At $2.55 per macaron, I would say that these macarons are definitely on the cheaper side (and more reasonable Based on appearances alone, the shells were very well made - no lumps, very even baking. The shells are just the right amount of crispiness and had were slightly chewy when I had two of those bad boys. There could be a tiny bit more buttercream IMO, but that is just my preference. I've purchased the following flavours: 1. Rose champagne. I like the hint of the rose champagne in the shells. Would be better if they made the buttercream rose champagne flavour too, since I mostly tasted buttercream after biting into it. 2. Salted caramel. Very good upon the first bite, but this artificial sugary taste lingers after eating it. 3. Pistachio. Flavourful upon eating but you can't really savour much of it afterwards. The pistachio taste is just gone after your two bites. 4. Birthday cake. Not that memorable of a flavour. Tbh, I only taste the buttercream. 5. Lemon cake. Very subtle lemon flavour. Flavour could be stronger to contrast with the sweetness of the buttercream. 6. Dulche de leche. The buttercream for this one was actually flavoured and tasted like coffee. This one was the most flavourful of all of them (and therefore the best one). Based on the ones that I've ordered, I think overall, the macarons are just okay - they aren't the best in terms of taste but they do have very well made shells and look like the macarons from Nadège or Butter Avenue. I think they'd be better if the buttercream fillings were all different flavours instead of being just plain old buttercream. If you're really craving some macarons and are in the area, I would give it a try. They are a bargain and would definitely help to satisfy sugar cravings. They're not as flavourful as other macarons, but if you want something cheap, I'd say these macarons are worth considering.

Ela's Macarons located in Vaughn Mills is a go to bakery vendor for those that are French macarons fans. And who also are fans of Cheese cake factory cakes slices at a lower price. I walked into to the mall, saw the macarons advertisement. I have a weakness for these delectable sweet treats. So I approached the vendor and I joked by saying why are you nearby by the entrance? Now I have no choice but to purchase 6 of your macrons for $13.99 plus tax. I couldn't wait home so I ate one, and it was delicious, not overly sweet. Later on I walked around the mall( it's Huge) for 45 mins. Then I stopped by the other side of Ela's Macarons, and I noticed that they also sell Cheese Cake Factory slices. I settled on their peanut butter cheesecake, and I was not disappointed. When I got home, I ate & savored the bursting flavor of peanut butter & cheese cake flavor. My recommendation when you con visit Vaughn Mills, come with a empty stomach, and try 1st Ela's Macarons. You won't be disappointed

I recently came across this kiosk at Vaughan Mills. What had brought me to have a look was the sigh for Cheesecake Factory cakes. So we went up to the lady and asked about the food and found out they actually serve them here. My friend and I both got the Strawberry and Creme Cheesecake. The Cheesecake was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect slice. I was so in love with the cake we decided to get some for our parents. The Cheesecake was amazing! The lady also told us about the option to order the cheesecake in advance depending on the favor you want. All we have to do is place an order two days before so she can get it for you. This is the best for birthdays and other parties. Fresh cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory!

I'm so happy they opened a Macaroon place in Vaughan Mills! Whoever opened it is a genius...probably Ela...LOL. The display of the macaroons was visually enticing and got me over to check it out. I ended up buying 6 because the employee made it sound like a deal than if u were to buy them single. She said it in a way where "each is $2.25 but if you buy 6, it's $13.50". We later realized while happily eat the macaroons that our 6 we bought was still each $2.25 LOL so don't be fooled and don't feel tempted to buy 6 of them if you really just want a few. I usually get macaroons gifted to me but I do think they're usually around the 2.00 range, so these were a bit pricier. Nonetheless, they were tasty and very enjoyable to eat while shopping. Some of my favourite flavours were the chocolate velvet, vanilla bean and pistachio!

Was at Vaughan Mills and came across a kiosk stall named Ela's Macarons! They also sold cupcakes and cookies as well. I decided to get a box of 6 Macarons. Flavours I chose were: Birthday Cake, Salted Caramel, Red Velvet, Matcha Green Tea, Toasted Coconut, & Lemon. Their macaron shells were made well. Nice crisp exterior and slight chew inside. The filling wasn't overly sweet, but I notice their filling was mostly buttercream, which was ok. But most of the flavours didn't really stand out much. The one that stood out most was the Matcha.

I had never heard of it, but apparently they're an established chain. The store is large, bright and cheery. The smell hooks you immediately. It's basically a gourmet doughnut holes shop, with plenty of fancy coffees and cold beverages to accompany. I wanna say, think Tim's crossed with Starbucks, with the emphasis on the Puffs. The puffs are made to order, with so many flavours to choose from. You can purchase half dozen, dozen, and up, and mix the flavours for each half dozen. We bought a combo box of Oreo and Nutella. You can watch the staff preparing the dough in the kitchen, and while they add your toppings at the counter. Idk if they somehow learned about it being a birthday visit, or this is usual, but we got a baker's dozen. I'll take that puff instead of a cherry on top for sure, because they were delicious. They are on the sweet side. Our drinks were also on the sweet side but delicious. The coffee is freshly ground on order and everything tasted fresh. We both opted for coffee based cold drinks but they have slushees, fruity and I think some tea options. The coffee was nice and strong without tasting bitter. The seating was a little odd, cute little stools in line with the honeycomb decor as opposed to chairs. The space felt really open, like your conversation can be heard all around. It was clean and very spacious. The staff on our visit were great. I would definitely return if it were closer to me, and I will totally check out other locations.

The service is consistently warm, and the pastry case is hard to resist. We've tried many of their cakes, and the blackcurrant queen cake is hands down our favorite--tart, elegant, and just sweet enough. Their salted caramel croissant is beautifully laminated and filled with just the right amount of caramel. In fact, their croissants across the board are solid--flaky, tender, and buttery without being greasy. The sourdough bread is excellent, and the espresso drinks are reliably strong and well-crafted. It may look like Paris inside, but don't let that inspire your inner Francophile--the staff are lovely, but no one's following your French. Still, this is the kind of place that keeps regulars coming back. We're definitely among them.

We shared the cream & crumb cheesecake (simple, classic, and incredibly creamy!) and tiramichoux (think a tiramisu profiterole - such a fun twist!). Looking forward to my next visit already :)

The only fruit they had was mango and strawberries. We opted for a Mango Bingsu, based on the photos displayed and we enjoy the sweetness and softness of mango. The bingsu we received was topped with what can ONLY be described as FROZEN mango and still not yet defrosted. Never in my wildest imagination did I ever think that it would be served with frozen mango which is usually used for blending smoothies!! My partner did not want to return the barely edible bingsu. The favourite on the dessert was the single small scoop of green tea ice-cream which formed the "leaf" of the strawberry decoration. I truly do recommend getting your bingsu fix elsewhere. I won't be returning. The store is located in the eatery section of H Mart, with ample parking outside in the plaza. PS on further reflection of my review, perhaps I was expecting fresh mango and nowhere on the menu did it specify that the Mango Bingsu is served with fresh mango. Lesson learned.
