My family and I visited sugar hill desserts and we loved everything about this place. The service was great, the desserts were delicious and the ambiance was very family friendly. The menu has a great selection of desserts and ice creams. We opted for the waffle with the nutty professor toppings and my son had the super fudge cake. Both were so delicious and my mouth is water just thinking about the desserts. I love how there are so many ice cream flavors to choose from. I can't wait to come back again.

We went on a Friday , pretty busy . We sat in heated patio, which was good . We ordered Americano, London fog, matcha, . We ordered croffle with chocolate ice cream , waffle with apple crumble with ice cream and pieces of brownie. It was good , but didn't enjoy my Americano because it was not hot and I was looking fr something hot to drink . My friend didn't enjoy her matcha either . London fog was good .

Love this spot. It also is consistent when it comes to the quality of desert. Today I went and it was a bit understaffed but I could tell the employees did the best they could to make us all feel taken care of. It was busy when I got there with various crowds (families, dates, friends just hanging out, etc)

I went here late at night after class and thought the establishment was super cute! The decorations and overall aesthetic made me want to sit down and order a treat. I decided to get the biscoff croffle since I've never tried a croffle before. Apparently it's a cross between a waffle and a croissant. Honestly, it was so delicious. I loved how crispy the croffle was and I thought it went well with the creamy ice cream. I went late at night but service was still pretty up beat so it made for an enjoyable experience.

Nice local dessert place ~ good casual group hang outs My sister & I randomly wanted to go to a 'new to us' dessert place & this one happened to be in the area of where we were (its close to Vaughan Mall) I had a simple Hazelnutto ice cream sundae with berry sauce (which came with a waffle cookie, while my sister had a larger chocolate ice cream waffle with bananas & berry coulis combo A nice brightly lit modern / contemporary space with lots of ice cream plate options. (find me on Instagram @aida.loves )

Such a great dessert spot! I came here for dessert with two of my friends after dinner nearby. We were pretty full from dinner so we just wanted a sweet treat. after looking through the menu we all decided to go with kids sundaes which were all the perfect amount of ice cream. They have a great selection of flavors, toppings and desserts overall. The service here was also great. I will definitely come back here if I'm in the area

I don't usually crave chocolate fudge desserts afraid it'll be too sugary. But the chocolate fudge cake here is just right. Satisfies chocolate craving without feeling too heavy or extra sweet. The vanilla ice cream was a nice contrast. But the single side was great as take out as well. I wished there were similar crepe options such as cinnamon sugar, for example. So ended up choosing the fruit crepe. I enjoyed it. Satisfied my crepe craving without being too sweet. The fruits were super fresh and the mango puree was a delicious balance to the ice cream. The crepe was also done very well. The service was super friendly and wait isn't too long. The seating was comfortable and clean and great for small or large groups.

Beautiful little dessert shop in Vaughan. This little place serves some big treats. From home made ice cream to classic waffles and coffees. I like coming here with my family after shopping at the mall or after dinner. The waffles are my favourite and they always taste amazing. The space is clean and the service is very good. Staff are always professional and friendly.

I was craving for something sweet after The Keg and decided to try this place out. The decor is cute, clean and spacious, They had clear partitions between the tables. They have a heated patio. We were there on a Saturday night around 7pm. The service is very good - our server was pleasant and courteous. We ordered the chai latte, kids ice cream (Mangoberry) and nutty professor crepe with hazelnutto ice cream, strawberry and Nutella -I opted for extra strawberries and no banana. The crepe and ice cream was really good. The chai latte had a hint of strong spice (stronger than I'm use yo). Overall, it's a nice spot to hang out with family and friends. It's across from Vaughan mills. Lots of parking.

Oreo milkshake. No Oreo flavour and my teen didn't end up drinking it......

Nice atmosphere and physical space. Bright and friendly. Very clean and modern washrooms. That's the good news! If you're not picky, then food was passable. Otherwise, here is my actual review: presentation was great, but waffles were soggy and the Oreo milkshake had no flavour. Best items ordered was the cappacino and matcha tea! Sorry, no pics taken of the waffles!

I personally got too used to Demetres in Woodbridge but Sugarhill Desserts is unique in its own ways. "Sweater Weather" was incredible. Their ice cream is known to be creamy/velvety which works perfectly well with a waffle dessert. The royal saffron ice cream along with the warm apple crumble was a great combination. Great service, from the store to our lovely note found in our takeout bag.

I just so happened to have found this place on Google Maps while in the area. We wanted dessert after having our sushi meal and didn't know where to go since we don't come to Vaughan often. I loved that this place is conveniently accessible near vaughan mills and that it is so aesthetically pleasing. I loved the interiors and the small details in their design. The menu was inclusive and had so many options which accommodated to my diet since I didn't have to worry about gelatin. I also found out that this place recently opened. I don't usually like eating waffles but my friend wanted to order some. We customized our waffles by choosing our ice cream, sauce and toppings. I'm glad I got to try it as they were so soft and delicious. The ice cream was also amazing and I got a sample of their saffron ice cream to try as well. Since this place is not as busy as dspot or Demetres, I especially enjoyed it for the peace and the overall "happy" vibes that the environment gives out. I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area or if you're looking for a place to hangout over desserts with friends and loved ones.

As an ex-barista, I'm fussy--I hate spending money and not getting a quality product. Unfortunately, the coffee was a swing and a miss. I ordered one iced latte and one hot latte. In both drinks, the espresso was burnt. I actually watched the barista pulling the shots, and I could tell immediately. To make matters worse, the hot drink was barely a latte; it was essentially a cappuccino based on the absurd amount of foam on top. Plus, the milk itself was ruined. There's a certain temperature and texture for steaming milk, and this was clearly burnt milk that had been frothed way too aggressively. Aesthetically, the café is lovely--it's cute and a great spot to work from home. My recommendation? Skip the espresso drinks. Maybe try the matcha or a pastry instead. I definitely won't be back for the coffee.

They had at least 16 different kinds of croissants and danishes. Not including cookies, whole pies and they also serve coffee and loaves of bread. Tiramisu danish was one of their popular items so I got that plus a plain croissant. Wow, the tiramisu was a 10/10! I mean, there was even a piece of ladyfinger soaked in coffee inside the danish! It was unbelievable. It was such a delightful dessert. As for the plain croissant, it was sadly average. It didn't have that crispy, flaky bite I enjoy. Note there is no seating area but there is a counter with a view of the parking lot.

As part of a growing chain with several locations across the city, this particular branch impressed us with both its quality desserts and genuinely friendly service. We came as a group of seven, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, rearranging tables so we could sit together comfortably. It's those little gestures that make a difference, especially when visiting with a larger group. Our top picks here were the Black Sesame Bingsu and the Tiramisu Bingsu. The Black Sesame Bingsu is a perfect option if you prefer desserts that are less sweet and more refined in flavour. The finely shaved ice is generously dusted with black sesame powder and topped with mochi, red bean, almond flakes, and a scoop of black sesame ice cream. The nutty, earthy notes make this one a standout. The Tiramisu Bingsu is just as delightful, with a mini slice of tiramisu perched on top and then chocolate powder, cheese, and a touch of espresso to bring out that classic tiramisu flavour. Rich and satisfying without being too heavy. The bingsu comes in three sizes: cup, small, and large. We went with the large size, which is perfect for sharing and they conveniently provide sharing bowls to make it easy. We also tried the Butter Bung Eo Ppang (a Korean fish-shaped pastry), opting for the salted butter & red bean filling. It was freshly made, warm, and a comforting and delicious side treat that we'd highly recommend trying if you want something a little different. That level of care really comes through in the cup; you can taste the depth and intentionality in every sip. I ordered the vanilla bean iced latte, and it was easily one of the best espresso bases I've had in a while. The shot itself was rich and layered: deep, chocolatey, and nutty striking a really nice balance between bitterness and acidity. It finished with a smooth, almost creamy note that made the whole drink incredibly enjoyable. The only downside is the size-to-price ratio. At around CAD $8.50 for what felt like a 10 oz drink, it's definitely on the pricier side for something that goes down this easily. Still, I'd absolutely come back when I'm in the mood for a more premium coffee experience. My cousin and I arrived shortly after opening on New Year's Eve. The cafe has a small interior with minimal seating, mostly bench seating along the wall with small round coffee tables. Even though there was only one barista working that morning, she was efficient at taking orders and making drinks despite several orders happening at once. We did not feel like we were waiting very long. I ordered a pour-over with the Finca El Paraiso Peach Colombian beans, which use a thermal shock washed process. That was something I had not heard of before. The tasting notes listed nectarine, tropical fruit, and caramel, and it was recommended since I was looking for something more out of the ordinary. I enjoyed the wilder flavor profile, but it was hard to fully appreciate because the coffee tasted overly diluted. The barista mentioned she used a 15g to 250g bean-to-water ratio, which is higher than how I normally enjoy my pour-overs. My cousin ordered a flat white with whole milk that was very creamy with strong espresso notes. We also ordered a matcha latte for my other cousin, which was apparently too creamy. Overall, the beans themselves were good, but the pour-over leaned watery for my personal preference. The bag of beans used for the pour-over was priced at $32, which is only a bit more than double the cost of the pour-over itself. In hindsight, I felt slightly ripped off and should have just bought the beans instead.
