Since my last unfortunate encounter I've been back because I can't deny that they have a good product -Unique flavours (Greek yogurt, dulce de Leche and pineapple) , fresh fruit and sweets. I went in for a smoothie and one of the employees (same one) politely directed me as to how to fill the cup to the right proportions. I'm very please that my complaint was addressed and resolved in a timely matter it shows that this business values their customer from higher up (which in turn trickles down the hierarchy) Fro yo, smoothies, waffles... I'm really indifferent about this place, because to me it just seems like a mediocre yogurt joint with even more mediocre food trying to rob hungry students of their money. It seems to be extremely popular though with the students and I've never seen this place empty, so they must be doing something right. The older ladies that work here don't seem too friendly and seem as if they just want to clear their line instead of delivering customer service at all. My order was taken swiftly and it was an assembly line sort of deal, where the order would be shouted and then made behind them as they take the next order. It seems too rushed and I could barely catch my breath between putting my money away and grabbing my straw. I picked a green smoothie to drink for lunch, giving it a chance because I didn't want to drag my tired body to booster juice. The blender doesn't seem to be strong enough and I don't like chunks in a smoothie. A smoothie is a smoothie because it's supposed to be smooth, and I don't need to bite down or anything. This was not the case. Although the fruits and veggies used were fresh and the taste was great, not every component put into the drink was blended down enough. It was also a small smoothie for about $7, so.. I've also tried the yogurt here too and it's nothing special.. it doesn't suck but it's nothing you can't get at any other yogurt place. I like the idea of self serve but yogen fruz's yogurt tastes a lot higher quality. Meh, again- I'm indifferent about it. Sorry for bringing the rating down, but I'm really not. read more

Now this is what yogurt is all about. Natural, no powder ingredients, 100million-1.2billion live active cultures per gram!!! And all-Canadian! There was a line up when I visited the location but it was worth the wait. I had my fix of their Greek and had a second help of Pistacio and Dulce deLeche. Probably the creamiest froyo I have ever had. I was introduced to Qoola when we were on vacation last summer in BC and I was so happy to learn that they finally opened their first location here in Toronto. I was actually so excited that I did not mind paying for parking in York University just so I could have their froyo once again. I was also happy to see them serve Wannafel Belgian Waffles (from Victoria). I heard that Wannawafel had a successful feature on Dragon's Den and read recently that they were testing out a gluten-free waffle mix. So not only can you have a gluten free froyo, but a gluten free Wannawafel in the future as well. Can't wait for Qoola to open more locations in Ontario. read more

Yummy! Great cool treat that is nice and sweet but reasonably healthy. A bit pricy but not more then any other yogurt place. I like then much more then any menchies. Staff here are friendly and it's always clean. read more

This place is really underrated in my opinion; from all the on-campus food options here probably Qoola and Freshii in the Lassonde building are the better eating options you can pick, in that order. I've only ever ordered the salad bowls and their green smoothie and compared to everywhere else nearby, this is the best. It's not all certified organic, don't expect any biodynamic agriculture or anything, but you can custom order your kale and quinoa salad bowl to be half kale and half baby arugula, skip the edamame if you're cutting the soy out of your diet, and the staff are very friendly too. Beats mass-produced hamburgers, you know what I mean? The chicken add-on for the salad bowl isn't exactly the nicest - you can tell it's factory farmed from the taste and how it metabolizes afterwards. My tip? Go to the shawarma guys two steps down and just order a skewer of chicken from them separately and just put it on your salad, at least their chicken is spiced very well! All in all I really like this place, and I wish they were busier and got more business. They do a good job, they deserve it. read more

I love Qoola and it's my go-to for healthier on-campus meals. Don't just go here for their fro-yo!! I've tried their Chicken Bistro sandwich which is my favourite and their Caesar salad. The chicken bistro is delicious with havarti cheese, eggplant and sundries tomatoes! Their soups are just okay, with the worst so far being the Thai Chicken, if you have an option between this and the Moroccan vegetable, definitely go with the Moroccan! read more

It's about time York got a good fro-yo place! (Sorry, Yogen Fruz... You aren't it.) This place has the same vibe as a Menchie's or Yogurty's - pick your flavour (they have some unique ones here), pour as much as you want, and top it with however much you want (lots of options - fruit, chocolate, drizzles, nuts, cookie dough, etc.), and then you get billed by weight. The cherry on top of this wonderful fro-yo experience is that the owner and staff are really friendly. Yay! read more

Visited this place on campus twice. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with peppers and Caramelized onions, hands down the best sandwich I had in awhile. Second time around I came back to get the same sandwich and also made it a combo with a Popeye smoothie? ( forgot what it was called) but it was good as well and the lady's working were polite and also talked to me about the food while I was siting down! read more
