We had a wonderful experience at La Boheme. It was a nice and quiet place to have chat with friends. The inside was spacious and made us feel comfortable. They had an array of desserts to match your drinks.

Came here on a Thursday morning and it was pretty busy. They have a lot of seating. They offer free Wi-Fi so it's a nice environment to work in. They have some electrical plugs as well. They were busy so some tables were not cleaned off right away. I ordered a hot mocha which was delicious. I'd definitely come back to try the pastries and quiche. Cute cafe and a good place to do some work.

This is a cafe that I walked by and finally had the opportunity to try. I was craving for almond croissant and decided to pick it up from here. When I went, there was only one person ahead of me with one staff at the cafe. The atmosphere was very nice and welcoming with their display case stocked and the lady who appears to be the only person working that day was very friendly. Aside from pastries and mini cakes, they also served soup, sandwiches and quiches. I'm definitely interested in their quiche and will be back to try them!

Stumbled upon this cafe while walking by and decided to have some tea and coffee. It was cozy inside and we decided to order tea and coffee. We got one large drip coffee and a regular earl grey with steamed milk. The food didn't look appetizing and way over priced so decided to skip. The coffee tasted too bitter even with 3 teaspoons of sugar and cream. The tea was good, no complaints. We sat near the back and the walls were very dirty and needed a good slab of paint on them. Wouldn't come back.

Three words! 1. chocolate 2. chip 3. baguette I happen to discover this place on route to another restaurant. La Boheme is a cute little pastry shop that offers a myriad of French pastries, cookies, sandwiches, and quiches. I took the aforementioned baguette home, assuming that I would share it with my family. I cut a small piece... and another... and another... eventually I noticed that the baguette was no more! I am definitely going to check this place out again!

La Boheme Croissant is so devilish good! So Fluffy! So Light! So Buttery! This is one of the pastries I don't really want to share with anyone. But my friend was looking at my chocolate croissant with hunger eyes after he wolfed down his plain croissant in 1 minute record time! The Caffe Latte I have is so cute with the heart shaped latte art made by the nice/friendly barista. The heart stayed impact until I finshed my whole coffee :) The roast is from Te Aro, so the roast is a little stronger.. but that's the way I like mine! The interior is nice and bright. I do wish that there are some armchairs or sofa sitting. That for sure will be a relaxing place to hang out with your friends and talk about nonsense on a Sunday afternoon! Free Wifi +0.5 star!

We arrived around 3:30 pm when it was fairly occupied; they feature 'Happy Sour Hour' from 4 to 7 pm, during which all of their sour beers are reduced in price to $7.00. We ordered and shared two beers, the first a lager, the second a sour beer in order to take advantage of the discounted price. The venue is long and narrow, with two floors and a distinctive looking back patio. Our service was fairly prompt and they are located in a quite convenient location, literally across the street from the subway and the historic, flagship LCBO location. So I can recommend a visit if you're in the area and desire a drink and/or snack.

15/10…read more Impact Kitchen completely blew me away While visiting Toronto, my friend (who's vegan) suggested we check it out, and let's just say... we ended up ordering from here every single day for four days straight. That never happens. The bowls are on another level Fresh, hearty, perfectly balanced, and somehow healthy while still being insanely satisfying. Every ingredient was crisp, crunchy, and prepared with so much care--it didn't feel like "just a salad," it felt like a full-on meal that left you energized instead of weighed down. And the smoothies? Incredible They're thick, refreshing, and taste like the best version of clean fuel for your body. Pairing one of their bowls with a smoothie became the highlight of our days in Toronto. What's wild is that I hate eating the same thing every day... but for this, I'd happily eat here for a week straight That's how much it hit the mark. Honestly, I'd go back to Canada just to have these bowls again

Yet, it was the zesty Mexican power bowl ($15.50) that drew me in. Yes, it contained kale (not…read moremassaged so my least favourite way of eating the fibrous green), but also roasted sweet potatoes, red peppers, rice, and a nutty tostada crumble. It's healthy but filling. Filling indeed as I had to get the rest to go, which once augmented with more salad mix was enough for a second lunch. The bowl also desperately needed more sauce. Despite containing black bean mole, avocado, salsa, cashew sour cream, and a cilantro jalapeno dressing, the kale was still tasteless and dry. Impact Kitchen seriously needs massage and "marinate" the greens beforehand. The added falafels (additional $5.99) were dense and baked - lacking a crispy crust that makes these snacks delicious. As a falafel they blow but as a savoury snack ball they're not horrible. Thankfully, our server asked if I wanted hot sauce on the side, that mild chili garlic sauce saved the day. Even then, I could only manage having one falafel at the restaurant and couldn't get through the others until I had a creamy dipping sauce the following lunch. Impact Kitchen's display case of baked goods drew us in and were surprisingly delicious for being gluten free. While I could have done without the sea salt on the chocolate sea salt cookie ($4.50), this was easy enough to dust off. Soft and chewy with a deep cacao taste, the cookie is the closest thing to a "sinful" dessert you'll find here. The almond protein brownie ($4.99) tasted "healthy" and the texture a bit crumblier than a traditional brownie... likely on account of the whey protein powder. If you can withstand temptation, save some for the next day, as it became tastier as the flavours intensified. Their matcha latte ($5.99) was beautifully presented, incorporating a rich green tea flavour and a creamy matcha dusted foam. It was one of the better versions of the drink I've ever had.

I arrived around 10am on a Saturday morning, got an almond latte and an almond croissant. I drank my latte first and slowly nibbled on the croissant because I wasn't too hungry. The latte was very rich in the almond flavour, and the croissant was nice and flaky. The chairs at the front of the cafe are very comfortable with high arm and back rest. The biggest turn off though was around lunchtime a lady came to collect my empty cup and plate and told me I cannot stay so long, max. one hour sitting time. I had all intentions to order again with them for lunch because as I was studying I saw tables next to me really enjoyed their salads and sandwiches. But after being told I've been sitting too long - when there were no signs of a seating time limit - I decided to just leave. They could've approached me by first asking if I want anything else, and most likely I'll get the hint and order again as I had intended. Instead, they directly told me there's an one hour seating limit that was not posted anywhere. I'd rather go to a Starbucks then, at least I won't be told to leave.
