Vegan peanut butter soft serve with peanut butter drizzle and cinnamon toast crumbs. AMAZING
    Sam A.

Yup, one of the best Toronto ice cream spots that really does live up to the hype. The featured flavour was vegan banana peanut butter swirl with peanut butter drizzle and cinnamon toast crumbs. I don't really fux wid banana flavours like that, so I opted just to get peanut butter alone. Y'all...BOMB. I can't get over how amazing this was. First of all, it was a huge serving and I'm realizing now that I can't believe I finished it all. But also, I wasn't about to waste any of that goodness, so finishing it was the only option. The peanut butter flavour was so strong but even paired with the drizzle it wasn't too sweet. The cinnamon crumbs were the perfect addition for texture. I loved that this was vegan because my dietician would approve (I'm supposed to be avoiding dairy ice cream lmao). I wish this was a permanent flavour because I'm tryna get it one more time. Run don't walk, to try this before it's gone!

Has vegan soft serve (earl grey and hibiscus) in a cup at $7.50 (if I recall correct). Neither flavours came through distinctively so in essence I was tasting spoons of a coolish substance in the texture of what should be creamy and flavourful (but isnt). Would not recommend. Limited seating. Limited AC. Friendly staff and service.

Soft Serve #2 - vanilla, pineapple, coconut and caramel

This was seen on the way walking to dinner and was a place that we had to come back to for dessert. They have great combinations here, and with the small menu I still had trouble deciding. I landed on Soft Serve #2 - vanilla, pineapple, coconut and caramel. It was awesome but melting quick. Great to have this place in the neighborhood.

Great new spot on Dundas at Kensington. They have two machines. One is vegan. The vegan flavours rotate monthly. The other machine has chocolate and vanilla. Really nice sundaes. I'll be back with anyone, especially those picky vegans!

Aw man, I was pretty disappointed at this spot. Honestly mediocre ice cream and toppings at an expensive price. The server only notified us that they were out of strawberry syrup after I had ordered and paid which was pretty weird to be honest. Then the kicker is that they were actually in the back making more, so by the time I was leaving the shop, the syrup was available again?! Would have been good to know... Overall I found the soft serve was mid and the additional toppings way too sweet. My substituted syrup defs did not work out in the flavour combo. It's pretty gimmicky if you ask me, and reminds me a lot of the sweet Jesus situation of paying to eat with your eyes.

Super Serve, located at the corner of Dundas and Kensington, serves up a variety of soft serve with toppings. Owned by the owners of El Rey next door, this place is primarily take out only although they do have a bench indoors you can sit on if it's not too busy. The interior is somewhat retro with the blue and beige floor tiles and plants throughout. On the menu they have several items called "super serves" where a soft serve concoction has been created for you to enjoy. They also have "simple serves" if you are looking for a simple vanilla, chocolate, or twist soft serve. Lastly, they also have vegan soft serve, which month's feature being the pineapple and horchata soft serve (with salted caramel sauce and hazelnut praline), which is also vegan. They also have cones and waffle cones. Super Serve is currently open from Wed to Sun starting at noon. I stopped by Super Serve on a Wed around 1pm where I was greeted by staff. Menu can be a bit overwhelming so there are a lot of items to choose from. All soft serves pretty much come in one size (an 8 oz cup). I opted to get the monthly feature, the pineapple and horchata soft serve. My order was made at reasonable time and as I got handed my soft serve...I actually wasn't sure if I would finish it all! I took a few photos before sitting on the bench inside the shop to enjoy my soft serve. The pineapple and horchata vegan soft serve was amazing! Light, refreshing and not too sweet. The salted caramel sauce added some sweetness and the hazelnut praline topping complimented the soft serve well. Wasn't surprised that I finished my soft serve in record time and wanted more. Overall, great new place for soft serve - love that they have a vegan option but would definitely be returning to try their more traditional flavours. Portions are generous where it can be shared or...you can a soft serve all to yourself.

I never knew a…read moreplace like this existed in Toronto, although I've always been fascinated by the exterior of this place. This is a frozen dessert emporium! With more ice cream and frozen yogurt flavours than you can imagine. And at least 20 waffle cone and bowl options. Looking at pictures from last year, it appears the waffle cone options change regularly as well. But they don't give you just any ice cream cone. They surprise you with additional toppings! How to feel like a kid again (except my kid who didn't appreciate the extra toppings). When we arrived, there was no line and I thought "why are there three people behind the counter?" From that point on there was a line up out the door. The place itself is a feast for the eyes. There is so much to look at, it's hard to focus on eating. Although ice cream and frozen yogurt are their specialty, they also have Dutch goods, popcorn and a wide variety of drinks. It does feel like a European cafe in the middle of Toronto. Fresh air blowing through the open doors. One interesting thing I learned is that the ice cream is kosher (the frozen yogurt is not?). Someone mentioned it was outlined somewhere on the outside of the building. Also, the only negative feature of this place is the number of bees both inside and outside. As someone terrified of bees, this was a nightmare. Thankfully, there is so much sugar around that they don't focus on anything for any significant length of time. This place is a gem in the city. It does not get enough recognition. You love ice cream? You need to check this place out!

Even with that there are 3 or 4 tables for to enjoy treat and about a dozen Jones and waffle bowl options to choose from. They even carried hard to find speculoos cookies from Holland, a childhood treat, that I 'scooped up' and appreciated. Staff was super friendly and happy to be serving, which was extra nice. A treat and special place for certain, but worth a stop by when your nearby.
