Great place in the area for ice cream! The waffle cone was probably the best part. They offer many different flavours and seems to rotate from time to time. The scoops are really big so 1 scoop is probably good enough for a person. They come scooped up in a nice big ball. I enjoyed the watermelon sorbet flavor. Service was good and fast. Nice touch was being asked which scoop I wanted on the top or bottom of the cone. The cream scoops come nicely shaped in a ball. The vegan sorbet didn't come as nicely but that's expected due to how it is. read more

After visiting Demetres a few times, I was delighted to find that they have one not too far from where I am. Located not too far from the CN tower, scooped by Demetres offers a range of super luxurious and delicious ice creams. We really struggled to choose our flavours and were kindly assisted by the staff who let us try whatever flavors we liked before we made our decision! I opted for a scoop of the Vancouver salted caramel and the raspberry ripple cheesecake served in a beautiful waffle cone. Located not too far from the CN Tower and right next to the bent way is the Demetre's ice cream serving, "Scooped". I've always heard about the infamous Demetre's flavours and therefore decided that I definitely have to try it on a random weekday afternoon. the interior is huge with a great view and tons of seating. staff are super friendly and helpful when it comes to picking from their extensive flavours and they managed to hear with me spending a good 20 minutes debating which flavour I actually wanted which gives them automatic validation. trust me it's not easy. I finally settled for two scoops (didn't quite make my mind up) of their lavish chocolate cherry and honey vanilla. the chocolate cherry one has real cherry pieces and chocolate pieces which really gives it a true taste of heaven whilst the honey vanilla is super soft and gelato like. and oh my God, they're incredibly delicious. the quality is amazing and served in a waffle cone which is really the icing on the top of the cake as it's so warm and tasty! not only does it look the part, like a traditionally beautiful ice cream cone but it tastes the part too! definitely coming here again. read more

The Ice Cream Flights are a great option, you get to try 5 different flavors, or get 5 scoops of your favorite! Demetres was/is one of my favorite dessert spots, so the fact they opened an ice cream shop downtown Toronto near Fort York was great to hear. Customer Service: The service was amazing, the place was clean. The ice cream was soooooo good. Walking in to the store we were greeted with big smiles and friendly servers. Food quality: We tried flavours we never tried before. We got a scoop of rose of paradise and a scoop of west coast sales caramel. Both were sooooo good. Especially the rose of paradise. I love anything with a floral hint. Best end to my bday night. The quality of the ice cream was much better than I expected. It's packed with flavour and doesn't taste artificial. Everything taste super fresh including the delicious waffle cone. Food presentation: the presentation off the bay was great. It was massive when they handed me the ice cream cone. Scooped serves only yummy ice cream. They are a subset of Demetres which serves all kinds of desserts, many of which can come with ice cream if you wish. This restaurant is located in a fairly modern "City Place" neighbourhood. Several restaurants around there look architecturally modern including 7Scoops. They have many flavours with some rotation. The 2 staff are very courteous and will describe the flavours. They can also give you samples to taste if you are unsure. I chose the Chocolate Cherry single scoop in a waffle cone. It is extremely spacious indoors which is probably reserved for indoor dining whenever that is offered. There is an extensive outdoor patio that faces east and has a nice view of the CN Tower and downtown core. When there are clear skies and the sun is at the correct angle, you can get pretty pictures of the exterior of the restaurant with its floor-to-ceiling windows. There is an ice cream cart that is used as decoration. There is free WiFi.  It is wheelchair accessible. There is roadside parking along the north-south street beside it. I am thankful for the 5 flavour flight because it allowed me to try more flavors. Boy do i miss the pre-covid days when you could taste flavors before finalizing! In any case, the 5-flavor flight allowed me to try: 1. Lemon Curd Blueberry 2. Campfire S'mores 3. Strawberry Blush 4. Chamomile x Apricot 5. Dark Chocolate Cherry Out of this list, I am surprised to say my favorite was 1 and 5 and least favorite was 2 and 4. I wanted to get the Rose flavor but they were sadly out (probably b/c it was a hit!) When I say least favorite, I think it's all relative. 2 + 4 just didn't really uphold to the name of their flavors (in the case of 2) or wasn't flavorful enough (in the case of 4). I will definitely come again to check out other flavors- especially since this is located right next to a gorgeous park. Honestly, a perfect date spot (whether by yourself - b/c we should always take ourselves out for a cute date once in a while - or with someone else!) Can't wait to come back already and try other flavors!! P.S Did you know Demetres is known for their crepes + waffles first? Definitely getting a homemade waffle cone next time!! As an ice-cream lover I definitely won't miss this place! I tried 5 scoops and all of them r so delicious. I will talk about each of them and my thoughts: 1. Goat cheese: so special and I absolutely love it. I have tried goat cheese icecream from a very famous icecream chain salt and straw in Portland Oregon before, and I have not seen any store selling those here. Thank god they pull it off and make it soooo delicious. 2. Melon meets mint: I have to say, this is as refreshing as it can get. Melon and mint both are perfect for summer and both are not overpowering the other. I wouldn't suggest getting this with the rest of the milky flavors though, it might taste better with sorbet. 3. Maple pecan crunch: I wish there would be more crunch, but it is definitely hitting the flavor notes 4. Vancouver island salted caramel: it has so much caramel inside it is amazing. But it tastes like other salted caramel icecream. 5. S'mores: I don't like it but my friend does a lot because it has large chunks of marshmallow inside. To me it tastes a little plain, maybe I should eat it with waffle cone? Anyways, I love my experience and will definitely come back for more! I usually get vegan flavours, but today I wanted classic ice cream. I had the Honey Vanilla and the Chocolate Cashmere in a waffle cone. Vanilla tastes like real vanilla and is sweet and creamy without being sickly sweet. Chocolate was smooth and velvety. The waffle cone is the best I've had from any ice cream shop. It stays crunchy right to the end. There's no soggy mess, even when the ice cream starts to melt. I messed up my order when I asked for a single scoop of vanilla and a single scoop of chocolate in a cone. They charged me for two separate cones. I should have said double scoop with vanilla and chocolate. Of course it got busy as soon as we realized the mistake. The servers worked it out and refunded the difference. Customer service is always great here. The shop looks brand-new. Lots of seating and it's kept clean and tidy. read more

In the platter, I got the melon mint, roasted white chocolate, cajeta swirled goat cheese, apricot x chamomile and lemon curd blueberry. For the waffle cone, I got office coffee. I was pleasantly surprised that each flavour tasted exactly as described. For example, Melon mint which was one of my favourites, tasted exactly like honey dew and fresh mint (not like artificial mint that is typically in mint chocolate chip ice cream or mint chocolate). And my second favourite, cajeta swirled goat cheese was creamy like goat cheese and also tasted like goat cheese with some sweetness from the cajeta. I will definitely come back to try their other flavours. I heard the rose strawberry flavour was a crowd favourite but it was sold out when I visited. read more

I enjoyed every bite of this one and it didn't have an aftertaste Cajeta Swirled Goat Cheese: 9/10 This was the most interesting flavour! It's made with goat's milk. It's basically cheesecake in ice-cream form. It was rich and super filling compared to Strawberry Blush. Each flavour was well done and the ice-cream was up there in quality. I can't imagine an ice cream joint like Scooped by Demetres getting a non-5-star review, let alone a bad review by anyone. It's ice cream, served how you want it, with no nonsense. What's not to like? Oh yeah... I guess price might be a consideration. Well, on that front, Scooped by Demetres offers $5 for a scoop and $9 for two scoops. Not bad. You'll be greet with a truly minimalistic parlour interior design and a giant board with no less than 20 flavours of ice cream upon walking in. I had a scoop of House of Earl Grey. It was great! It cooled me down and it was delicious without being obnoxiously sweet. Today was just a perfect day to grab some ice cream with my kids after school. My kids screamed when they saw how big the waffle cone was. We ordered lavender blueberry mist and mango passion fruit and we loved both flavors. They're super refreshing and the sweetest was just perfect. I have to mention that they may have the BEST waffle cone in town. Definitely different from the ordinary thick waffle cone. Their waffle cone was thin and crispy but enough to hold 2 big scoops. I got the Blood Orange Creamsicle and Cherry Blossom ice cream, a perfect blend of fruity and sweet flavours. However, do be aware that some top-seller flavours may be sold out. When I visited, about a quarter of the menu was sold out. Luckily, the staff are friendly, efficient and good at giving advice regarding alternative flavours to those sold out. Scooped was a bit off the typical busy paths of downtown Toronto and in a weird location near Fort York almost which was easy to miss but we were craving for something cold especially during the hot summer time and have been seeing this place all over the internet. I've been to demetres and have had their desserts before so I knew what to expect coming in and expected them to more or less use the same stuff. It would've been neat though if this was a boutique and experiment for the brand to try to create more elevated ice cream! The staff was friendly, but the environment/ice cream was not great. First time visiting Toronto, and I happened to find this spot in the Distillery district. I was in the mood for dessert, and got the raspberry cheesecake flavor. (It was also recommended by the staff as "tasting just like the cake") One bite in, and the texture/taste were both off for me. Texture: they have some ingredient that makes this ice cream REALLY stretchy and thick. Flavor: I get that it's supposed to be cheesecake, but the sourness of the cream cheese overpowered the entire scoop. Finally, they were making waffle cones inside and I'm not sure if it's always like this, but the interiors are quite smoky.
