2025-04-20. The Cups Vaughan. On Easter Sunday, Vaughan Mills is closed, but many of the peripheral restaurants are still open. The newly opened cups (April 12, 2025) is one such business. Serving Bing Su (Korean shaved ice) and a variety of coffees and other drinks. They also have a small section of cakes. There is plenty of free parking just out front in the plaza. Inside the place is bright and cozy and seats about 28 comfortably. We were here for the Bing Su, and today we tried the Red Bean, the Black Sesame, the Blueberry, and the Tiramisu. The Bing Su itself (I.e. the shaved ice) was very good. Super light and fluffy and is exactly what I expected of Bing Su. 5 stars. Since Bing Su carries no flavour, it relies heavily on what complements it. Black Sesame Bing Su. This had a blend of of black sesame and sugar for the base. A scoop of red bean and a scoop of black sesame ice cream on top. The goblet was decorated with black sesame powder. Both the red bean and black sesame was pretty good. The base was not as sweet as I like, but there was a scoop of condensed milk nestled under the Bing Su, so if you mix it up a bit, you'll get the sweetness you crave! 4 stars. Tiramisu Bing Su. Topped with an actual piece of Tiramisu! The cake was frozen and I was hoping for a mascarpone base, but didn't quite get it. It was coffee based as expected. The goblet was dusted with dark cacao powder. Not bad, but not exactly to my tastes. 3 stars. Red Bean Bing Su. The red bean didn't disappoint but the base was some kind of soy. The goblet was rimmed with soy powder. 3 stars. Blueberry Bing Su. This has a nice blueberry sauce base and like the tiramisu, the blueberries were on the cold side. The blueberries were sweet and was berry enjoyable. 4.5 stars! Overall, the Bing Su was not a disappointment. The shaved ice is the correct consistency and there are a good variety of flavors creatively presented. I want to thank Cindy T. and her staff for filling our Bing Su craving and for the fun experience! If you'd like to experience more come dine-with-me.yelp.com I'd love to have your company! Bon appétit!

The stand was staring at me. I had overdosed on ice cream at Dairy Queen the night before. I headed over to the stand without any hesitation. There was a menu. I looked at all the flavours. It was tough for me to decide. I finally went with the matcha nut, which consists of three flavours. It has ube (purple), activated charcoal coconut (black), on top of matcha (green). I got the black cone, which is activated with charcoal. The charcoal comes from coconut husks. Cool! My cone cost $7.35 with tax. It's not cheap, but it's all about the experience. I paid using my debit card. The woman working at the stand was great at making my order. I was so happy to see it. I thanked her and left. This ice cream is definitely photogenic. Even in bad lighting, this ice cream on a cone looks good. I liked the taste. The ice cream was creamy and good. I could taste the ube and matcha. I couldn't taste the coconut, though. Perhaps I need to get the black ice cream only. The matcha was divine! If you are a true matcha fan, this ice cream has your name stamped all over it. The black ice cream leaves your tongue all black. Don't go for a doctor's appointment for your throat issue after you have had it here. I loved how crispy the cone was. It's not sugary, which is exactly how I like a cone. I was at this stand on a Thursday night at 7:45 pm. There was no lineup. The soft-serve ice cream is yummy. I'd come back here to get some more. Prices are steep, but it's okay if you come here now and again. (136)

Service was a bit slow so they get 4.5 stars. Sakura matcha was layered, which was pretty. Each layer had its own pleasant flavour. After mixing I couldn't really taste the Sakura, but it was still a good rich matcha drink. The chewy pearls at the bottom had a nice texture. Poop waffle was warm & crisp & came in a Japanese style toilet. There was a choice of custard, red bean or Nutella but I chose to hew to the theme. The crumb was fluffy & quite fragrant. It could have more Nutella but it was free with a checkin so I really couldn't complain.

Coming from the western United States, my daughter made a list of about 15 places in Toronto she wanted to go ... And this place was #1 on her list! After reading the reviews, my wife and I told her it might not be what we expected, but it was everything we hoped it to be! We went a little after noon on a Friday in August and the place was completely empty when we walked in. Torched Salmon Bowl - perfectly seared and flavorful salmon in a cute presentation. Mango Korean Snow Bing-Poo - Great dessert! Lychee Korean Snow Bing-Poo - Tasty Ube Coconut Toile Paper Rolls - Yumm! Vietnamese Coffee and Lyche Sakura Soda Downsides -We ordered a Lychee Poop Waffle but were given the Lychee Korean Snow Bing-Poo. We wanted to experience the waffle but were fine with the Bing-Poo because it was good! -If you are tall, going to the bathroom (whether it be 1 or poo) it was not be fun with a shirt ceiling. -I asked if I could hold our six-year-old as they rolled the ice cream (toilet paper), which is something she's never seen before and they said "No, that's something we don't do." I don't think it would've harmed anybody and we wouldn't have been in anybody's way if I just held her and let her watch the process. I know I've watched, other places as they have done this. Our 2 year old spilled the entire Lychee Sakura Soda before we even took a sip and they cleaned it up for us and gave us a new one!
