    Oreo Bingsu
    Sarah P.

The Oreo bingsu was delicious at Snow Day. The little Oreo bits added a slight crunchy texture to the bingsu. The shaved ice didn't taste as light and creamy as I had hoped. However, the little cheesecakes added a nice, sweet flavour to the bingsu. The service was quick and they even offered us boxes even though we requested dine in because we ordered a large and they knew we probably could not finish it. The ambiance is peaceful with some seating available. It's definitely a great spot to grab a fun dessert!

I love this bingsu spot! They get the sweetness just right with the condensed milk and fruit syrups, not too much, not too little. There aren't many truly good bingsu places, and this is definitely one of them. The prices are pretty reasonable too. It's honestly the perfect treat, like fluffy shaved ice cream, and you can pick whatever flavour you're in the mood for. They have options like coffee, matcha, and fruity flavours such as mango, green grape, and more. The staff are always really friendly, and they use buzzers to let you know when your order is ready, which keeps things super organized. There's also plenty of seating for both small and big groups.

I found Bingsu usually underwhelming and mid. Snowday, unfortunately, is no exception. The tiramisu bingsu did not have a lot of flavour in it, but the bitterness of the espresso shot as a complimentary "sauce." (honestly, I was not sure what it was supposed to achieve). I feel I just have a higher bar for ice dessert because I've had chhoah-peng since I was little in Taiwan, and I guess I am quite difficult to impress when it comes to ice desserts. The presentation was great, but a bit overpriced. The service was standard, and the interior was cozy. Good for hangout.

Came here with my boyfriend. It was really busy when we went, and all the tables were occupied, so we thought we'd have to get them to go. After a long wait, a couple people had left, so we got a table, and after a bit more of a wait, we got our bingsu. The oreo bingsu was exactly as expected, but the green grape bingsu syrup they used was a bit too sweet, and some of the grapes were brown. Not awful though.

Second time having Snowday but first time at this location. Much better experience than my first time at a different location! The bingsu here was refreshing and flavourful that it didn't taste like plain ice. I highly recommend the strawberry bingsu if you really like similar flavours to strawberry pocky. Strawberry bingsu: Tastes so much like strawberry pocky. Refreshing dessert with reasonable amount of strawberries. Totally would get it again! The service was quick and lots of seating. The parking lot has a lot of parking spaces so it's not too difficult to find. I would totally recommend this spot for dessert cravings.

I love that this spot does cup servings of the bingsu. It's the perfect solo portion where you're not left with a pile of watery slush at the end that you can't really eat. It's a popular hang out spot with great service. There's a good balance in toppings/syrup to shaved ice, so every bite is super flavourful.

Came here on a Friday evening and this place was pretty packed. There is also limited seating but we were able to get the last table available. It's all pretty much self service here. You have to go up and order, they give you one of those buzzers and then you pick up your order when it's ready. I ordered the small mango bingsu which is more than enough for two people to share. I really enjoyed this bingsu. It came with lots of mango and was very tasty. It definitely satisfied my craving for dessert. It can get pretty loud though. Had a tough time having a conversation with my friend and found myself raising my voice at some points.

My first time to be here but it's a great dessert place to go after dinner. Good to satisfy my cravings for Korean style Bingsu!! Tried three tastes of Bingsu: Tiramisu bingsu - Large size with mochi, Red bean bingsu - Large size with mochi and Green grape bingsu - Large size with mochi. My favourite one is the tiramisu!!! Staffs were so nice and will recommend some famous tastes to us! The cafe also easy to find and you can visit there when you are nearby thornhill! It's definitely good for group or couple to go~

This dessert place is very high quality, especially their waffles. They are so delicious that you just can't stop eating them. I highly recommend it. 呢間甜品非常高質,特別係佢個窩夫,真係令到人哋食唔停口。高度推薦。

A nice way to end a hot day. The bingsu was a good richness and a light dessert. There was a good mix of textures from the shaved ice to the chewy mochi. Was not too sweet and had the right amount of flavour without being overwhelming. A small was enough to split amongst two people.

It can get busy, but if you're patient enough, you can get a table. We got their injeolmi bingsu (our go to for most bingsu). It came with mochi bits which stayed soft! The bingsu was super fluffy and flavourful! Definitely a great place to go to help satisfy the craving with great atmosphere.

We got our usual large injeolmi (soybean/kinako) bingsu and it has a nice layering of condensed milk, mochi and shaved almond slices throughout.

The service is consistently warm, and the pastry case is hard to resist. We've tried many of their cakes, and the blackcurrant queen cake is hands down our favorite--tart, elegant, and just sweet enough. Their salted caramel croissant is beautifully laminated and filled with just the right amount of caramel. In fact, their croissants across the board are solid--flaky, tender, and buttery without being greasy. The sourdough bread is excellent, and the espresso drinks are reliably strong and well-crafted. It may look like Paris inside, but don't let that inspire your inner Francophile--the staff are lovely, but no one's following your French. Still, this is the kind of place that keeps regulars coming back. We're definitely among them.

Tim Hortons is a Canadian chain specializing in both coffee and baked goods, founded by hockey player Tim Horton and businessman Ron Joyce in 1964. While I don't go for the coffee, every now when visiting Canada, I'll stop by a Tim Hortons for hot chocolate and a donut. A few days ago when I was visiting Toronto, I met up with a cousin at the Tim Hortons at the Promenade in Thornhill, and while she got a coffee and a donut, I enjoyed a hot chocolate and a donut. We had the opportunity to order through a kiosk or in person, and we opted for an in-person order which included a discount through the app. The drinks and donuts were ready rather quickly, and while there was limited seating in the Tim Hortons itself, we sat in the food court area just outside of the Tim Hortons. The staff were nice and seemed to know what they were doing. The hot chocolate was tasty and chocolatey while the donut (a Chocolate Dip Donut) had a thicker dip than I am used to, but it was delicious! This particular location is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM, and there is no drive-through option as it is in a food court of a mall. Plus, there are items with Fall flavors like Pumpkin Spice Iced Capp, Pumpkin Spice Donut, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Spice Muffin, and Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte. There are also new Matcha Lattes. If ordering on the app, you can also order hockey trading cards and/or a binder. The interior is sleek and modern and the staff are friendly but as other reviews mentioned can be a little forgetful ... sometimes we had to remind them more than once of a drink or a small request. However the staff are very sweet and always seem to be excited about their food and drinks and love talking about anything new on their menu ... really enjoyed the croissants that comes with pistachio, chocolate, and I believe Nutella, and that they can make immediately for you if they've run out of a certain flavor. They have pastries, wine, a big coffee menu, sandwiches, and pasta. There's some street parking and if you don't mind walking across the street there's plenty of spots at Bayview Mall. They also have free underground parking but it's a bit of a guessing game to get to the first time ... if you go behind their building parallel to Sheppard is Thomas Clark Way. If you're facing north towards their building on Thomas Clark Way then the parking driveway is part of the building to the left of the church, the parking garage door is actually perpendicular to Thomas Clark Way. There's a few parking areas on that road so it's hard to find the first time but once you get it then it's really convenient especially in the winter - the restaurant is right there. Highly recommended for the great staff and casual yet elegant vibe.

After trying my vanilla iced latte and my partner's macchiato... I wondered if this place might actually be better known for food or matcha, based on what I've seen in other reviews - the coffee was not good. The espresso beans seemed to be over-roasted, which were quite bitter for our liking as opposed to something more subtly chocolatey and nutty. My iced latte also got watery pretty quickly as the ice melted it seemed, and ended up tasting more like the kind of latte you'd get from a fast-food chain (or the espresso shot was way too long). A bit of a letdown, especially since the two fairly small drinks came to about $18. The space itself is cozy, and I really like the vinyl collection (which earned the 2 stars). That said, the records are noticeably pricey compared to typical vinyl shops like Sonic Boom. A lot of them -- even ones with just Side A -- were priced at $55 and up. I didn't cross-check the barcodes on Discogs, but while I love the curation (especially the focus on Japanese jazz and city pop -- really cool stuff), I find it hard to believe all of them are rare pressings worthy of those $55-to-several-hundred-dollar price tags. As an avid collector myself, I wouldn't come here to buy the records. Service was friendly.
