    Strawberry pop tart
    Liz F.

We had the best treats from Makers Bakers! The strawberry pop tart was delicious and my family gobbled it down quickly. The banana pudding is the best I've ever had; it's thick and tasty with the perfect (ample) amount of vanilla wafers/cookies.

Small independent owned shop inside Findlay Market. Everything is homemade by the owners themselves. Many baked good selections. My daughter is a cinnamon roll connoisseur and put Makers Bakers up To the challenge. Served fresh and packaged neatly for transport home. Successful tasting and thumbs up review by my daughter. Now she wants to go back for more. Give them a try and meet the nice owners.

No, because: these are THE BEST cinnamon buns. Small little humble stand in Findlay market, with servers that have big hearts and always a smile on their face. They asked how much frosting i wanted and i asked for a GENEROUS amount. I had to eat it the next day reheated and i can confidently say it was better than cinnabon. Flavour was there, but it also wasnt as sweet as cinnabon. It was a perfect ratio. Now, imagine if i ate it fresh!

Loved this place that's in Findlay Market! Owners were super nice and served us quickly. They have lots of fresh baked goods like pies, cookies, cheesecakes cinnamon rolls and banana pudding. I got a Big O'l cookie and a slice of cheesecake for my husband. Everything was so good!

AMAZING! Randomly stumbled across this spot on instagram and was already going to be at Findlay market so I decided to stop and grab some goodies. I'm so glad I did! I got the St. Patty's day special Guinness Cake - super rich and very deep flavors. Loved it. It was also pi day so I snagged a couple "mini" pies. The banana cream was out of this world - I took one pie and WOW. I love the texture of the brownie and I'm a sucker for cookies n cream. Also you can't go wrong with chocolate pie! I will definitely be back. Prices are reasonable considering the generous sizes, quality and taste. The person working the counter was very fun too and didn't rush me! Great experience.

This place was fantastic. We stumbled upon it in Findlay Market this Sunday and it was one of the first places we stopped at. The counter person was very friendly. I saw they were selling cinnamon rolls which is why I stopped. I ended up buying a cinnamon roll and this ridiculously good cookie pie thing - think Mrs. Fields but it was like two layers of cookie pie with frosting in between. Sunday was apparently a fried foods day too, and I bought a freshly dipped corn dog from outside the market which apparently was also Makers Bakers. Definitely coming back here for that cookie pie next time I'm in town, and possibly for the OREO cake too, which also looked delicious.

    Gingerbread Cake for Christmas!!

I live right down the street from Makers Bakers so this is dangerous for my stomach, but such a joy to my tastebuds. Lol! By far my favorite bakery in OTR. Their cakes and cheesecakes are true perfection. And I don't say that lightly!! Tara made me a Gingerbread Cake with bourbon caramel cream cheese icing for Christmas and my God -- that's the ONLY present that I needed. It was so dang good! She also made a spice cake with caramel apple filling for my group during the Fall for my Halloween Party and people lost their minds over it. Get in there and get you some folks! Kevin and Tara are friendly, awesome owners who make their customers feel appreciated. I'm glad to support them.

The desserts were so tasty! The owner was kind and was very involved in the selection process. I would definitely try this place again!

    Bourbon caramel glazed cheesecake

This place has only been open for about 10 months and they have some of the best cheesecake that I've ever had! We came on the Findlay food tour, and met the super nice owner who told us a bit of their history. They were previously a stand/food truck on the side of the Findlay market before opening up their garage shop at Findlay. We sampled their bourbon caramel glazed cheesecake and oh my goodness it was probably one of the best cheesecakes if not the best cheesecakes that I've ever had. It was so light and tasty and delightful. I inhaled it in like two minutes! My husband who doesn't like sweets finished the whole thing! Super cute place and would love to try their other cheesecakes out next time!

I just happened to have stumbled across Makers Bakers and Wow am I glad I did! I tried the brownie and cinnamon roll. These are some of the best pastries/deserts in the city of Cincinnati. Super delicious with high quality ingredients. There were a ton of other options I could have tried like their award winning pudding or their key lime pie, but I'll have to go back for those items. The service was so friendly and very helpful in understanding their offerings. There's no doubt that I will be going back!

My kids had the original beef corn dogs with fried pickles today and loved them. Even my husband who tried them said they were delicious.

I had seen the sign for Golden Hands and decided that's where we would go! It did NOT disappoint! The kids went for the normal glazed (but twist not a circle donut!) and vanilla with sprinkles. I wanted to try one of the many others. I tried something different so I sprung for the strawberry with banana cream. I'm not a huge banana fan but oh my goodness this was amazing! The service was impeccable. I love supporting small businesses. It's definitely got a warmth and charm that is missing from the big box places. I cannot wait to come back again!

This place doesn't disappoint - there is so much to choose from and the options rotate daily ! I personally love the blueberry fritters - They are huge and layers of blueberry yet they are only 3 bucks (that's so cheap). The strawberry cheese pastry was also delicious and flaky. The only thing I ordered that I wasn't a huge fan of was the pretzel - it was big and the price was right but it didn't taste better than a wawa pretzel twist. The donuts also come warm since the case seems to be a warming case which is a nice touch. The workers are so nice and they will explain every flavor to you if needed since there are no labels. The place is small and so is the parking lot.

Overall it was a bit overfilled so it was very messy and hard to eat. I could have done without the hidden coconut shavings inside. KIMCHI & EGG CROISSANT 5 I had this one for breakfast. I warmed it in my air fryer for 6 minutes on 330 so it didn't overcook. The croissant was flaky and delicious, and the kimchi added good flavor without being spicy. I would have liked to see a little more mozzarella but overall it was tasty! SOBACHA CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIE 4 Also tasty, oversized cookie. Soft and chewy texture. CINNAMON ALMOND BLUEBERRY TOAST (THURSDAY/FRIDAY ONLY) 5.25 Very good. The cinnamon filling reminded me of a brown sugar pop tart. I warmed it in my air fryer and it was perfect. Would order again. It is loaded with pecans, sticky in the best way, and easily one of the best in the city. When they're on, they're really on. One thing I noticed was that the setup could use a little refinement. With both coffee and bakery items coming from the same counter, the line gets congested fast and the shop is quite small. A separate line for coffee and tea offerings - they have a bunch - and pastries would make the experience smoother and match the quality of what they're serving. They do offer vegan options, which I personally have no interest in, but just an fyi. Overall, they deliver excellent pastries and has the potential to be even better with a few small tweaks to the flow and menu variety. Still absolutely worth a visit, especially for that croissant and pecan roll.
