Super cute lakeside attraction. Lots of tables and food options. I got the lobster club and hubby got the whole belly clam roll. No complaints except the coleslaw was dry. We also got some Gifford ice cream to go. It's a great New England gem. read more

Always really good food here! The clam strips and shrimp are really good. Next time I'm gonna try to clam chowder and lobster bisque if they have that on the menu. read more

Nice lobster roll place. Also had the belly class but they were fried and I wish I had a broiled or steamed version. The onion rings were good too. Bit pricey but a nice mid-afternoon treat on the border of two states. read more

A beautiful day to sit outside and have lunch. We haven't been by Maine Attraction in years and it was nice to see it's still there. My granddaughter and I each had hot dogs, French fries, onion rings and homemade slaw. I don't know what kind of hot dog but it was wicked tasty. She enjoyed the fries and the onion rings were perfect, I don't like chunky rings and these were perfect, onions tasted fresh like they were freshly made. My one complaint, they only have a porta potty, they did have a pump sink but the soap was empty. With children especially using the bathroom, I wasn't happy with that. read more

From start to finish it's always nothing but a great experience at Maine Attraction! Their portions match their pricing by far and you're always greeted with a smile. One of my favorite go to places for food and ice cream with a nice view of the lake. read more

Clam fritters were outstanding, Cole slaw excellent, clam strips on a buttered toasted roll. Service was quick. Definitely would recommend read more

Food is fine. Fried seafood. Pricey for what you get. Hours are inconsistent. They post the hours but often close early . Ice cream is good but depending on server can be skimpy or huge!! read more

This is a charming walk up to the counter food stop with picnic tables and umbrellas overlooking Holland Reservoir. We ordered a bunch of food and shared it including clam fritters, great onion rings, burgers, sandwiches, Dr Pepper, iced tea, and clam chowda, to start. Food was prepared fast and good service at the pickup window. We enjoyed it. read more

Quick, friendly service and expanding their hours and menu as we get closer to summer. I love the chicken tenders and the family loves seafood and shakes, they don't fail to impress! I love the down home feel and the nautical theme. I wish there was indoor seating but can't complain cause they are a delicious staple in holland read more

Thankful for this nice seafood shack after a nice day on the lake! Tried the haddock nuggets and the clam chowder and both were delightful and light, but still filled me up from the exhaustion of water activities! They also have great ice cream flavors to choose from. We were greeted by a swarm of chickens that came over to visit which was a pleasant surprise. Very cool place! read more

I like to come here for their burgers. It gets pretty busy here at times but there is plenty of parking and the service is efficient. They have Gifford's ice cream and there are plenty of options. The outdoor seating areas are comfortable. read more

Food and service has always been 5 star ! My go to for seafood. Always clean as well. Our favorite place to treat our guests who share our love for great seafood. We've never been let down in all the years that we've been eating here. Check it out.You won't be disappointed. read more

First visit of the season! Whole belly clams and deluxe lobster rolls woohoo! Love that they are winterizing their kitchen so they can be open year round. We're looking forward to many visits this summer! read more

5-16-25 ordered a deluxe lobster roll and seafood combo platter. the combo platter was good but my lobster roll was flavorless shreds of rubber. when I brought it to the manager's attention he said there was nothing he could do. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. read more

Ordered to go and was great. Food was better than expected, great portions of food. Price was good.

Food is great. Just have to wait for your food but food is freshly cooked. They used to have a dining room but now it's all outside with picnic tables. read more

It was our first visit and likely will be our last! I had heard good reviews on Facebook about this place and it is close to home so we went out for lobster rolls last night. I ordered the large roll and my wife ordered the regular. Both were buttered and toasted. Even though they were not busy it took 30 minutes for us to get our order. For some reason they wrap the rolls in foil so when we opened them they were soggy and lukewarm. The lobster was bland and tough. It appeared that they must have kept it on the stove in a pot with butter instead of making the rolls fresh. The rolls were served with homemade chips that were cold and stale. The rolls and soda drinks were $45. Expensive - but I would have paid that for a good roll. I had the lobster roll at the 99 restaurant that was 100% better!! read more

Food is delicious and if you go on a Friday across the street, you get to see a ski show on Lake Hamilton

Fritters, chowder, and fried clams were all amazing. Great and fast service. Will be coming back.

stopped here today for lobster rolls and they were delicious! Good friendly service, large parking lot for oversized vehicles and nice outdoor seating. read more

Its on the border, in the middle of the woods , sitting next to a big @SS lake with water skiers on it. Feel the need for fried clams or other shoreline chow? You can get your fix here without driving to the seaside. Its LAKESIDE anyway, so. . . heres yer water. Whole belly clams, yep. Good breading, fried right. Fried oysters if thats what you seek. Not a huge fan of the cole slaw, wouldnt buy a tub, but that CORN CHOWDER??? A little peppery, but worth that tub. Giant lobster roll will cost you like five more bucks than the regular size but... BUY IT! Damn that thing is good, toasted roll, hot lobster, tell em to give you some drawn butter on the side for dunking. They do have that cold style lobster roll for those who feel the need to screw up lobster by putting mayonnaise on it. If that be you, then they have you covered as well. Its not Maine, but... if your around here, its a shorter drive. read more

We love the Maine Attraction! Such a great spot to grab a quick bite and a delicious ice cream. There's seating underneath a new pavilion and views of the lake across the street. If you're lucky you'll catch the Holland Aquariders showing off their skill on their water skis! S Maine attraction is seasonal so make sure to get your fix before they close for the season! read more

It's a cute little place. I tried the fried scallops and small order of onion rings. They give you a decent portion! My food was average, it wasn't delicious but it wasn't awful either. The clam fritters were pretty good though. There's ice cream too but the line was very long and they were closing soon so we didn't have time to get any. I'd go back for clam fritters and to try the ice cream. read more

Found this place on my way up to Maine and was very happy with my decision to stop here. It's right on a lake so it was fun watching the boats go by. They have outside seating on picnic benches with umbrellas for shade and they also have full-service dining inside. We opted for outside eating since I brought my favorite four-legged friend with me. I had the 1/4-pound lobster roll with butter which was really good. I shared the lobster roll but totally could have eaten one on my own if I didn't get other food too. I also had the seafood chowder which was good and tasted fresh too. The seafood chowder had little shrimps, scallops, clams, potatoes and maybe lobster but I couldn't really see any. After enjoying lunch and a view in the shady picnic area, we capped it off with some ice cream. I got a scoop of peanut butter caramel cookie dough and a scoop of chocolate and it was the perfect combination. Yummy! I will definitely make this a regular stop on my way to Maine when I visit again. Note* they only have a porter potty and no real bathroom, but I must say that it is VERY clean inside and has hand sanitizer. read more

Nice place for typical New England seafood fare...cup of NE clam chowder was fantastic, tons of clams and potatoes, not too thick, and I got the lobster roll with butter...fresh lobster as always here but not a heaping mound of lobster like other places...ice coffee to go, can't beat the view either!! A must visit read more

Maine Attraction - Lunch on the lake - Seafood Near Me - Holland, Massachusetts

Fist time I have been there was today 6/15/22. I have lived in Brimfield for 18 years and we usually get our lobster rolls on Horse Neck beach in Westport, MA. But this is near by so we decided to give it a try. For a clam shack it is a pretty decent location, right across from the lake. Outdoor seating is cute and parking is plentiful. Now to the real reason to go to the Maine Attraction - the food. We ordered the Deluxe Lobster Roll with home made chips and slaw and added an order of clam fritters. Both were awesome. The fritters were cooked to perfection in good oil with plenty of clams and seasoning. The lobster roll was warm on a great toasted bun with decent amount of lobster. Would recommend to anyone wanting good and quick food in Western Mass. read more

This is coming from a non-seafood lover. So, base my review off of this. I'm going to leave an honest review as usual. I find this place just ....average. Honestly, I miss danders ice cream and I miss some of the soul food they had like chili cheese fries and fried dough. Maine attraction has the basic items. Something you find just about anywhere else. I wish they had more to choose from for the people who are not seafood eaters. Though.... I do eat one thing with seafood in it and that's clam chowder. And I'm a chowder snob!! I'm picky as can be!! In my opinion, there's room for improvement on the chowder but it's not bad either! Their ice cream is ok. Nothing extraordinary. I did enjoy their shaved steak grinder though. That is one who goes off the menu that I thought was good. I hear their seafood is good though! And it's nice to see them busy so they must be doing something right!! It's nice to see a business flourish in town. We did need something good! We go from time to time to help support them. We just wish there was some better things on the menu for the people that don't eat seafood! read more

If you like seafood and a nice view, it's great! Nothing fancy just a nice place to drive to in the summer.

Fresh yummy seafood. Can't go wrong here. Staff is efficient and courteous. One of our favorite go-to's for take out.

Very disappointed, we were on our way up north and found this place on yelp. We were so excited to take a break at such a lovely site. The lobster roll came out cold so did the clam chowder . Besides being cold it seemed like they spilled a bottle of black pepper in it, that's all I could taste, didn't taste a clam. The lobster roll looked like they used a nice amount of lobster which I was happy to see. But they forgot the warm butter so it was very dry. They also forgot the sides we had to ask for it. Was Not Thrilled. read more

Yummy but pricey!! We're visiting the east coast and I was really wanting some local lobster and I certainly got it. Now we love dives, hole in the wall, mom and pop kinda places and when my husband found this place I felt like we scored! It's just a building with a walk up window to order and another to pick up. It has a nice patio area with tables or they have picnic tables placed around the outside for sitting. The view of the lake across the street was really nice. If you have "to go" they have a decent porta potty but I'd suggest you "go" before your visit. It took a while for our food to be ready and we were super hungry but when we opened up those foil packs and saw the size and amount of lobster we instantly forgot about the wait. We opted for a hot sandwich (they add butter to the lobster) but you can have it cold (they add mayo) too. It was delicious! Oh, and their homemade chips are super good. Super crispy and not greasy, at all!!! Let me tell you though ... it was pricey. Our sandwiches alone were like $18 each!! Quite the splurge for just a sandwich. It was tasty though so we were happy we went. read more

Roadside fried food joint, it is what it is. Service was very slow and the food was average at best. There are better options in the area.

They have really good frozen yogurt, gluten free and dairy free treats here along with the regular ice cream options! Their menu details out what is in, and what is free of certain ingredients. Happy to recommended for vegans, froyo fans. :) read more

Yum!! Went for lunch on a Thursday in September! We had the platter with fish and clam strips and also the seafood chowder. Everything was great! I especially loved the fried haddock - fresh and delicious! We will be back. read more

Fantastic seafood shack! We ordered the double lobster roll and combination seafood platter with haddock and scallops. The lobster roll had lots of big savory chunks of lobster. The breading on the fried fish is so light and not too oily. The scallops were perfectly cooked! A real gem. read more

We had the cold lobster roll it was not good. Lobster had no mayo an was slimy. We also had clam fritters which was good.

I have grownup coming here, and it is normally really good. Although, tonight's experience was anything but good. The family in front of us got waffle cones and both were broken, to the point of needing a cup so all the icecream wouldn't fall to the ground. My milkshake tasted like it was mostly milk and was as thin as water, or as if they just put melted icecreamin a cup. And my boyfriend's waffle cone was also very broken. It also took about five minutes to just get a cup and spoon to hold the broken cone and icecream. It was very disappointing tonight. read more

Unfriendly owner ( woman) and didn't give me what I ordered when I confirmed my order w the young boy! She told me to give her another $2 to give me fries w my sandwich like I asked ( I told her twice ) and not chips?!?! After a $60 bill you want $2 more dollars due to your mistake. I DON'T think so! I go to the picnic area and tell my family I WILL not come back here and how the owner was rude! The women next to us w her hubby and two children said " the same thing happened to us last time and I had to go to the boy I placed the order w and he admitted he was wrong that was when she gave me what I asked " Wow! Really it has to come to that?! I told a friend today about this and he told me she yelled at him for getting napkins "inside" when he placed is order outside !! Apparently when you place your order "outside at the window" you can go in the dinning room for napkins or anything NOT EVEN TO USE THE BATHROOM?!?! WTH is wrong w these people. You make your paying customers use the Porta potty... RIDICULOUS all the way around. NEVER again! read more
