I bought a 2009 Pontiac G5 for a very reasonable price back in 2015 or '16 when my old ride would be too expensive to meet emissions standards. We quickly made a deal on the least expensive car on the lot. I had taken two test drives and got financing through my credit union. Easily this old boy's most painless purchase of an older used car In my entire life! Over the proverbial barrel, and finding an unexpected deal. For the first time in my life I was interested in finding what I could afford and NOT what I really might have desired. Looking back this car has served me well with only two new tires, a few minor, general repairs, and regular oil changes, lubrication, a light bulb or two, and a new battery were required in the meantime. My Fiance and I were looking for a daily that she could drive to work, the store, etc. We happened on a 2002 Ford Escape at Main Street Motors. We came out to test drive the car and it seemed great. Randy took care of us and even cut us a deal on the final price of the car. He also took care of the registration and playing the car, which was really convenient. Under a month of owning the car we noticed some issues and took it in to have it looked at. Randy and Ken were very kind and looked at all the issues we were noticing. I have purchased 4 vehicles from this small dealership now for different members of my family over the last 2 years. They have been great cars at good, fair prices. If you buy with cash you'll get a fantastic deal. If you finance, the term is only 2 years so you won't be paying forever, and if you decide to pay it off early they knock 20% off your payoff amount. I noticed a clunky sound in the rear end of a Toyota Highlander I was test driving there and they checked it out, found a suspension issue, and replaced it at no cost before I took delivery of the vehicle. They offer a generous 2 month or 2000 mile drive train warranty (with a 50/50 split on repair costs) and they have always been forthright and honest with me and my family. They've taken great care of us over the last 2 years, which is why I keep going back when someone else in my family needs a car. Randy is a great guy and he runs an honorable business, and this is INCREDIBLY difficult to find in a used car dealership. I wish I stumbled upon them years ago. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE If I could give these people negative stars or rotten tomatoes I would, because my experience with them has made me certain that I will NEVER buy a used vehicle ever again. First off I bought a truck from these people and they charged me $3,000 more than what the truck was worth claiming they did all kinds of repairs to the vehicle. Within the first month of owning the truck my radiator blew out and they didn't honor the warrantee and they told me they would fix the radiator for me for $1,500. I fixed the radiator myself and spent less than $500 in parts. Not only that, but when I called to try to get them to honor the warranty on the vehicle the gentlemen who answered the phone was extremely rude and told me "what do you expect when you buy a truck with 130,000 miles on it". To make matters even better the door seals on the vehicle they claimed to have done so much work on we're stuck to the truck with nothing but double sided tape. Now I've owned my truck for a little over a year and I've replaced the entire air conditioning unit, the radiator, the fuel pump, both the driver and passenger door seals, the water tank, the windshield wiper fluid tank, rebuilt the transmission, and all of that is in addition to the normal every day maintenance tune up I've had to do on the truck replacing the spark plugs and wires and breaks and what have you. I repeat do not buy a vehicle from these people. They will rip you off. I have never had such a deplorable experience with service in my life. read more

Thats where I'm starting. My girlfriend wanted to get me a car for my birthday and took it upon herself to find one and purchase it. Though i was present, i had already learned that it was her gift, her choice etc. Too bad the dealer didn't even try to cut her some slack She bought it outright, a 2008 Chevy HHR. Yes they have problems, but funny how all the problems manifested themselves immediately after leaving the lot. There is no way on this earth that the dealer was unaware of the problems that have so far occured. After the first warning light went on the info center less than 2 miles from the dealership, I knew we were in for trouble. I could hear it and feel it in the vehicle. Sure enough, the power (electric) assisted steering went out, later on i got it working again, but its intermittent. The coolant temp gauge was working then all of a sudden, its not working and neither is the a/c. To top it off they didn't even change the oil in the vehicle before they sold it and if they tell me they put work into it, i will laugh for days as they try to convince me what they did. These issues would have been spotted by any dealer with any sense of fairness and they would have been diagnosed and fixed or they would have told the buyer what to expect, not this place. I will gladly give them the opportunity to fix all of these issues but i will not split the cost. They need to do the right thing because in my book steering is a very big safety issue. Oh, and one look under the vehicle and you cant miss a myriad of additional suspension problems. Shame on us though for trusting people. read more
