Cans back for another birthday party. The hot honey on the pepperoni pizza was a huge hit. Will be coming back for that for sure. The hostess are very helpful. They offered to help me set up, all though there is not much to do because they handle everything they helped with the little things I brought to set up. They were kind enough to also cut the cake. Just a heads up if you host a party there will be a service fee that is not the tip it is an additional fee for facility use and it doesn't include tip. The host definitely deserve a tip they are awesome. The food comes out right on time, everything ran so smoothly. My guest had a great time.

She should not be in customer service as a server. The most rude server I've ever experienced.

Service is HORRIBLE here. Servers at the bar are unacceptable. A bunch of kids/young adults who have no business in customer service are working here. We were very polite customers and yet this one bartender in particular just was not having a good day perhaps. Main event, do better with the hiring process!!! We had a group of baseball moms at the bar. 7 of us. This particular server named Isabelle or Isabella, blatantly sees us and completely ignores us. For a good 5 minutes straight. One of our moms tried to get her attention and she goes, "I'm helping these other people first and you're next". As she proceeds to help every single person that comes after us first and rolls her eyes. Does not even acknowledge us AT ALL. Attitude the entire time she is "helping" us. Wowwwww. She had NO BUSINESS being a server. Never experience a more rude server as she. Terrible.

There is a lot to be said for this place. A lot of great family, entertainment and value is all here under one roof. Multiple bowling alleys available, (including a private VIP bowling alley which is where me and my party were in), a mini pool hall, and an arcade for the kids and kids at heart... we got quick service and the food was good. We had pizza and fries, and multiple type of drinks. Everything was great and we all had a good time there. They're open late so if you've never been and want to enjoy a fun night, come here with your group and chill.

We had such a great time here! As a matter of fact, I've been back twice since mid December. We decided to have our small office party there and did the eat and play combo. I ordered the wings and was impressed with the different sauces that they had. I got the buffalo sauce since that's always my go to and had a side of the Sriracha honey. Both sauces were 10 out of 10! The french fries are perfectly crispy and nice flavored. Service was excellent! I've come back again for the wings. Thanks for the experience! See you next time

Very cool spot. Took my kids to the arcade, only purchased $40 worth of tokens. The games averaged between 7 to 17 tokens. Of course it wasn't enough for my two kids but they had fun. Many game selections. All working properly. Won a decent amount of tickets. Their prizes were nice, good variety. The employees are friendly and helpful. Place looked well kept. My son had previously gone with his uncle and he loved their laser tag game. We didn't eat there but it seemed liked a good place to watch a game. Great ambiance in general.

First time here. Came here for a charitable event. The event was fun and this was a great choice to have it. The service was ok. I tried ordering drinks at the bar was ignored so I found our server in the VIP section who finally took my order. The place is clean and bright. They have an arcade and bowling lanes. Didn't try the food just had some appetizers and they were good. The VIP section felt a bit stuffy though. I noticed they brought out a fan to help cool the section off but i was sweating. Overall this place is ok. Great for events or parties.

Friendly, welcoming door monitors! I went by on a Thursday evening when there weren't a lot of people there. I also returned that following Saturday and it wasn't bad at all. I'm thinking that people don't know what's inside yet. Clean interiors, a small restaurant though, compared to the rest of the square footage. I didn't take a look at the menu but I will do that the next time I am over that way. Plenty of activities for Adults and Children. I can't wait to bring my Grandkids back! Also, I saw that they have a Laser Tag room in the rear of the arcade area. This would be a great place to have a Birthday party. I recommend parking in the parking lot that is over by the old Sears entrance. The other side is commonly used for Barnes and Noble, AMC, and the Mall. Respectfully Reviewed.

Came with hubby to watch Game 1 of the World Series (Dodgers vs Toronto Blue Jays) at Main Event's indoor restaurant, The Family Kitchen. Spacious and clean dining establishment with numerous large screen TV's, a bar and and lots of seating. Got the boneless chicken wings with ranch and bbq sauce on the side as well as the pizza strip board, a one and a half foot long pepperoni & cheese pan pizza with mushroom toppings and some soda for drinks. Waitress Nethalea (not sure of spelling her name) was every bit helpful and accommodating. She made sure our food arrived on time with less wait time. The Main Event also has a bowling alley, billiards, laser tag and arcade games. Perfect place for birthday parties, groups and family fun entertainment.

This was the first time going to Main Event and it was worth it! I went there for a friend's birthday and we started off with dinner. Cheeseburger sliders and mozzarella sticks were delicious, along with a Shirley Temple mocktails drink. The arcade is spacious and was a lot of fun. I felt like I got my money's worth from the fun card I got there.

This is a big arcade with a lot of options. We played laser tag which was the highlight. The music and lighting can be overwhelming so be ready.

Stopped by on Saturday, 03/01/25 for the first time - this place is new and recently opened up. Played some arcade games which was super fun (car racing, ice hockey etc.). You can also play bowling and laser tag. I went to the bar and had some drinks, specifically: - 1 Tropical Rum Punch (most popular and highly recommend per the bartender) - 1 Long Island Iced Tea - 2 shots of Herradura Silver - 1 side of fries Overall a fun place for all ages.

Always plenty of parking here and the location is super easy to find. When we arrived there was a long line of people, but our friends were already checked in and we just had to get our shoes. The lane we were given was a decent size, couch on either side for each lane. I do like the surfboard tables, but they were kind of in the way and narrow with the table next to us every time we got up to bowl. Especially since the other table had pizza that was sticking out and I was nervous to knock it over every time I got up. We did unlimited games for 2 hours, that gave us enough time to get about 3 games in. I noticed plenty of balls were already in the ball return, so not sure if people go grab balls, or if they are just placed there to grab from. There were plenty of size options for the balls BUT I hate that we had to share with the lane next to us because they were eating pizza and grabbing the same balls and every time I went up the ball felt super greasy and gross. Cosmic bowling was really cool! Fun music videos and movies and other videos being shown on the screens down the lanes. I was expecting it to be darker inside though and having the black light pop out more. Inside also has a bar, food to order, arcade area, bathrooms and saw some people celebrating their birthday. They go all out with a neon sign and you're given a bowling pin that everyone signs. So that's cool to know if you plan on celebrating here. The manger was also kind and gave our friends coupons to come again and bowl two free games on their next visit so I thought that was really nice! All in all, I haven't been bowling in a minute, but it was fun to get together with friends, have a beer and just have fun!

Fancy high-powered spinning and frequent gutter balls, we were squarely near the lower end of that spectrum. Different game modes on the screen included cartoons/animations of bowling pins, sea creatures, and comic book characters, which added some charm to an otherwise similar experience. Both visits had the same issue: the group next to us had no sense of bowling etiquette, and it was never addressed by staff. Their parties were oversized and ended up spilling into our space sitting in our seats, placing drinks on our table, and generally taking over the shared area. On top of that, their kids repeatedly came over to our lane, touching our tablet and interfering with our game. It made it really hard to enjoy what we paid for. What made it worse is that both times, the groups next to us were visibly drunk. That kind of environment might be expected at a bar, but when it starts impacting other guests' experience especially families it becomes a problem. There didn't seem to be any staff intervention to manage the situation or maintain a respectful atmosphere. Another frustrating point was the check-in process. I brought my own Brunswick bowling shoes, but I was still told I had to rent a pair anyway. The employee even said I could "just do whatever with them," which honestly makes no sense and feels like an unnecessary charge. Policies like that don't feel customer-friendly. To be fair, Big Al's is a fun place overall. The arcade games and general hangout vibe are great, and I'd still come back for that. But the bowling experience itself just isn't worth it based on what I've experienced. There's definitely room for improvement staff should be more proactive about enforcing basic bowling etiquette, making sure groups stay within their assigned seating areas and respect neighboring lanes. Better monitoring, especially when alcohol is involved, could help prevent disruptive behavior. Clear limits on group sizes per lane, ensuring kids stay within their own lane, and revisiting the shoe rental policy for guests who bring their own equipment would all go a long way in improving the experience. There's definitely potential here, but the bowling side needs better structure and oversight.

One of the downsides for me is Spotcha, as a lot of their "sports" games/machines tends to be faulty and the last 3 times I went, the batting cage especially tends to not be working, but still letting people in. If it needs maintenance, I think people will understand if they put a barricade or a sign that says "under maintenance" rather than just leaving it open and people will just go home disappointed. Keep the actually working ones open, and close/put up a sign might help with maintaining customer satisfaction level. I think they're doing a great job with brining in colab's though!

Not the cheapest place but a good short trip mini theme park that's local enough to be 15 min away from home is definitely worth a trip to have some fun every now and again! And don't forget to try the bumper boats! Take the kids they'll definitely enjoy and have fun, and adults too! lol

There's so many activities here that can be explored. I actually met my husband here, in our first date. I may be biased because of that lol I am a fan of Bullwinkle's! The food isn't half bad either. I recently came back with some friends. We played mini golf and it was really fun. We hit the western indoor golf course. It was fun! Just a little warm. We were sweating. They need to crank up the air conditioning. It gets super hot and stuffy in there. Other than that, it was fun. You can keep a score card if you want. I got two hole in ones! Total luck lol

This place still looks the same as before from the outside to the inside. A bit dated, but still has lots of good space. Bowling game prices are pretty reasonable ranging from $5 - $6 per game depending on the day. Shoe rental prices aren't bad either. I have my own bowling shoes so I don't have to worry about renting them. Staff is friendly and pleasant. They have a house drink and snack bar plus an arcade section. Restrooms are conveniently located near the entrance on the left upon entry. It brought back so many great memories. I would love to return and bowl league here once again. It's on my adventures list! Thank you Chaparral Lanes for the good times!

There's usually only one person at the register to handle shoes, lanes, and issues and she not friendly at all. During our 2 game session, the lane had to be reset 3 times and they even shut down our lane. The woman at the front stated that my husband was bowling in sandals which was absolutely ridiculous because he was clearly wearing bowling shoes. I usually love supporting independent businesses, but I'm done with this place.

So this review is not about the bowling alley but the sports bar right next to it. Whereas the bowling alley was full of spirited sounds of teams and the sounds of pins toppling and ball polishing, several feet away was a rather well soundproofed sports bar with the jukebox playing an eclectic selection of country rock and hard rock. As far as activities go, there were billiard tables and dartboard machines. We opted for the dartboards which have cameras installed and the technology to detect your throw, even when said throw completely missed the mark. It takes cash, and the amount depends on the type of game and number of players. However, technically you could just take the cup of plastic darts and just start playing without paying and keep score yourselves. We were joined by two other locals at the bar and played a guys vs. gals, 2v2 round of 501, and somehow I carried. Subsequently on another game though, I came up shooting blanks. By the time we were done darting, the billiard tables were all taken up. Wouldn't mind coming back to hang out here.
