My kids have been begging me to take them bowling. I was putting it off because of the high prices everywhere! I paid $66 for two games which took us about 1:30 to play for the three of us. Shoes included. I booked my session online. With their cyber deal promo code. When we arrived my kids and I had water bottles, they asked us to to either take em back to the car or leave them with them. I told them it was just water and they pointed to their water station. I don't know if it was the vending machine or the bar area? Either way thought that was a bit much. Given how much you already pay for a couple games. They also ask for a tip online, automatically 18%. Which can be edited if you click on it. Which I thought was also a bit much given that I didn't order food there. My kids wanted to check out the arcade. Paid $20 for 200 points. Most machines are 10 credits some 15. Everything seemed well kept.

I was having a sleepover with my nieces and decided to plan a bowling trip. I can't remember the last time I went bowling, so I figured it would be a fun outing. After looking up a few places, I decided on Bowlium Lanes. I liked that you could make reservations online because I get to see the damage to my wallet ahead of time. I don't know why I pictured some old, outdated bowling alley. To my surprise, it was nice, clean and ready for us to have a good time. Getting shoes was a breeze. I was really surprised to learn that you could request bumpers for specific players. The last time I went bowling and needed bumpers it was bumpers for one, bumpers for all. Once we set that up, we were ready to bowl. After setting up the game, I walked over to the diner to order some mozzarella sticks and fries. I wish they had a bigger area to snack on your food. Putting it by the bowling balls wasn't an option with three kids. The kids enjoyed the different versions of games. Overall, I would say it was a successful trip. Everyone had a good time bowling and the overall bowling alley was much more than I expected. As we were leaving, they started the cosmic bowling and of course, that's the kids new request. We will definitely be making another trip to Bowlium Lanes.

Arrived on a Thursday evening expected to pay the $15 9pm- closing but the price had gone up, like in a day. So, the bowling rate for Thursday evening is $17, they also have specials on Monday and Fridays check their website. The bar area is really nice, pool tables, jenga and connect four. I'm sure a ton of people chill there on the weekends. The diner offers "the typical fare" such as; burgers, pizza, hot dogs, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, chicken wings, salads all within a reasonable price. I really enjoyed this bowling alley, I liked the atmosphere and how the person in the front staggered everyone so it didn't feel too claustrophobic.

Such a great spot to bring family and friends. My buddy drew brought me the place. First time out there and i just love it. The food was amazing including the buffalo chicken pizza. OMG it was so good. The prices on bowling is really good and they have nights where they do cosmic bowling. Meaning they turn the lights off and turn on the black lights and have dj strob lights and play awesome up beat music. They also have pool tables and a great variety of arcade machines for the kids to play. My favorite there is the basketball game. They also have a bar area for the adults. Don't take my word for it. Go out there and bring the family. I promise you will not get disapointed. Another good thing to mention is that the place doesn't get crazy packed so if you looking for a place that is not crazy mad house of people and your looking for a place that is not crazy busy, this is the place. Very relaxing up beat environment.

The customer service was outstanding, offering a wide array of choices for score design. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with my friend.

Great place to take the kids or have a party. This place is very decently priced and has lots of activities for both adults and kids. They have an arcade, bowling lanes, pool tables, a bar, board games, a food court etc. This place has good customer service too, you won't regret giving this place a try.

We will definitely stay at hotel again and being that there are 30 restaurants within a block we will never need to experience the bar again. There's plenty of parking so I don't think it would be a struggle no matter time of night. The place itself is your average Joe bar. Plenty of seating both tables and booths. They are 21+ up only! They also are reservation priority! Service was great! Our server Jared was very attentive to our party. Constantly checking on us, making sure we had everything we needed. He made sure our glasses weren't empty. He did a great job. Entertainment was awesome! The piano players are super talented, funny and lively. They had great stage presence! I really enjoyed it! Food was average bar food, but let's be real, they're not known for their food. We had the cheddar bacon curly fries and they're the type of food you want once you start drinking alcohol. So really, this place is doing its job. The food wasn't top tier but it definitely caters to crowds need. If you love a loud environment, good music, and dancing this is the place for you. Be prepared for some dark humor. But be prepared to have fun. They honor all different types of celebrations. I would definitely say check this place out and give it a shot! Tons of fun!

Anaheim or Fullerton would be amazing. We drove in from Orange County and ate beforehand since we weren't sure how the food situation worked with our 9:30 reservation. Turns out, they actually do have a solid food menu, but no regrets--this place is all about the experience. When we walked in, the energy was already through the roof. People were vibing, singing along, and just in great moods all around. The setup is awesome--kind of like a neon-lit bar with two pianos facing each other center stage and a drummer in the middle. And let me just say, that drummer was an absolute beast. While the pianists rotated in and out, he held it down the entire time without missing a beat. Service did take a little while to get started--we waited about 15-20 minutes before anyone came by--but once they did, everything picked up and stayed consistent. The staff kept checking in and made sure we were taken care of. One thing that really stood out to me (especially coming from a hospitality background) was how they handled a situation where someone in the front row got sick. It could've easily ruined the vibe, but the staff jumped in immediately, cleaned everything thoroughly, replaced the table, and sanitized the area quickly and professionally. Super impressive. Overall, I had such a great time and would absolutely go back. Huge shoutout to the pianists--they were incredibly entertaining--and major props again to that drummer. Now if the owner could bring this concept to Orange County... that would be next level!

Because of that, I booked outside seating on OpenTable for Cinco de Mayo for drinks at 6:30 for 4 of us. We arrived at 6:25. We were notified that they were running behind, but still were not seated at 7... we were told there was no outdoor seatings coming up in the near future but they could honor our reservation shortly at an indoor table... but unfortunately it was club-decibel live music for the holiday so we went elsewhere. Thankfully, the food we did receive was amazing and we were still enjoying our evening while waiting for birthday dessert. What completely changed the experience was when the manager, Destiny, approached our table and told us we needed to move to accommodate another party. We explained that we also had a reservation, were still eating, and were waiting on dessert. Instead of handling the situation professionally, her approach came off with an attitude and as though we were an inconvenience for not wanting to move in the middle of our meal. As a manager, professionalism and customer service matter, especially when guests are celebrating special occasions. Better reservation management could have prevented this situation entirely. Even other guests nearby seemed shocked by what was happening. Roger ended up apologizing on her behalf, even though he was not the issue. He truly did his best to save the experience, while the manager never came back to apologize herself. They've got indoor and outdoor seating and they seemed a touch understaffed for being a beautiful day. It was also a Tuesday lunchtime so maybe they weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was. We were able to prove the menu before we got seated. And our super friendly server came out and we were able to order right away. They've got a lunch special. That is a small personal pizza with a salad and we each got that. Salads came out first and I had the arugula salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. 10 of 10 would eat this every single day. The arugula was peppery and it was well dressed in a lemon vinaigrette type sauce. I am a fan of just plain lemon on mine, but this was delicious. My husband got a union salad, which is their specialty I guess. It's got colored carrots and some beets and some shallots. I thought the dressing was bland and it certainly needed salt and pepper. We asked for both and didn't get either. Our pieces came out and they were nice and woodfired. I feel like they could've been done just a little bit longer maybe a minute or two. The sauce was a lovely fresh type crushed tomato sauce. The cheese was nice and gooey and did not feel or taste like a package of processed cheese. Pepperonis were greasy, but in a real meat kind of way. I had to dab mine, but my husband just went to town on his. The pickled peppers is a pickled jalapeño. Big chunks of them. They certainly didn't skimp on any of the toppings. They were a little sweet and a little hot. Some of the big chunks were a little too sweet for my liking but overall, it was a nice flavor mix Also from a size standpoint, I thought the salad and pizza were very adequate for lunch at around $20 price point I asked for salt and pepper again as well as a side of ranch. This time we did get the salt and pepper as well as cheese and crushed red pepper. But we didn't get the ranch until we were leaving. The server did apologize and said he thought someone else was bringing it out but I pretty much deducted a star because we asked for a couple different things that never came. A friend I met many years ago at a wine tasting invited me to a Burgundy wine class at Packing House Wines, and I attended. The store is located up a few steps on the north side of the Claremont Packing House. Parking is usually not an issue as there is a big multi-level parking garage on the east side of the packing house. All attendees sat down to a list of wines to be tasted, a printed out copy of the slides being presented, a big burgundy wine glass for pours, water, and a nice little charcuterie plate. The owner Sal gave the presentation, and it was easily the best wine class I have ever attended. He talks pretty fast, but not too fast, and his delivery was excellent, providing an extensive amount of information that was easy to understand. We pretty much learned everything about Burgundy wines from the history of the region, the stringent production laws, different classes of Burgundy wines, and details about all of the different producers and regions we tasted wines from. The class was scheduled for two hours, but it ended up lasting for two and a half hours. It would have been easy to stay for much longer as the class and wines were very enjoyable. The wine class was a little pricey at $125 per person, but this was a bargain as Burgundy wines are expensive. We were able to taste ten 1.5 ounce pours including several Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines (one of them was $350/bottle). My favorites were the '17 Albert Bichot Fixin ($53.99) and the '20 Domaine Lecheneaut Vosne Romanee ($124.99) which I purchased. They have wine classes regularly, and I will definitely return if one catches my eye. They have quite a selection of wines for sale, as well as tasting flights and food from their kitchen.

Service was fairly quick and friendly. The drinks were all sweet cocktails and in the "Matterhorn Lodge" theme. There is a 2 drink minimum purchase (per guest) and each drink is $20+ so it can add up. I'm more of a beer person but some of the drinks were delicious. There was one that tasted like Christmas morning (cinnamon, clove, milky) and another drink that had popping boba that was also fun. If you're a butterfinger or peanut butter fan, there was one drink that tasted like it (you'll see it on the drink menu). I wouldn't say the drinks were strong. They do a good job of enforcing the theme. They had a "Yeti" come out and interact with the tables. Good for photo ops. They also had a magician doing a few tricks, and I enjoyed that the most. The place was kept fairly chilly! Even the bathrooms had jokes and signage on the walls that alluded to the alps. Overall a great time. Small venue but pretty chill. Can be pricey. Take a sweater. Good for dates and small groups.
