Stopped by Big Al's to catch the Sunday afternoon football games. Location has games, bowling, big screens and a large seating area. Tons of parking and at 1pm on Sunday, a good amount of seating. We ordered the regular size nachos, with beef, Philly cheesesteak sandwich, a watermelon vodka lemonade and a Bloody Mary. Everything came out quickly and well made. The nachos were a bit spicy, perfect for me, a bit much for my BF. The nachos were great though because they put all the fixins on the side. I've now been here twice to bowl, and unfortunately both experiences were frustrating enough that I won't be bowling here again. Both visits had the same issue: the group next to us had no sense of bowling etiquette, and it was never addressed by staff. Their parties were oversized and ended up spilling into our space sitting in our seats, placing drinks on our table, and generally taking over the shared area. On top of that, their kids repeatedly came over to our lane, touching our tablet and interfering with our game. It made it really hard to enjoy what we paid for. What made it worse is that both times, the groups next to us were visibly drunk. That kind of environment might be expected at a bar, but when it starts impacting other guests' experience especially families it becomes a problem. There didn't seem to be any staff intervention to manage the situation or maintain a respectful atmosphere. Another frustrating point was the check-in process. I brought my own Brunswick bowling shoes, but I was still told I had to rent a pair anyway. The employee even said I could "just do whatever with them," which honestly makes no sense and feels like an unnecessary charge. Policies like that don't feel customer-friendly. To be fair, Big Al's is a fun place overall. The arcade games and general hangout vibe are great, and I'd still come back for that. But the bowling experience itself just isn't worth it based on what I've experienced. There's definitely room for improvement staff should be more proactive about enforcing basic bowling etiquette, making sure groups stay within their assigned seating areas and respect neighboring lanes. Better monitoring, especially when alcohol is involved, could help prevent disruptive behavior. Clear limits on group sizes per lane, ensuring kids stay within their own lane, and revisiting the shoe rental policy for guests who bring their own equipment would all go a long way in improving the experience. There's definitely potential here, but the bowling side needs better structure and oversight. read more

This place was beyond gross. Like I wasn't expecting fine dining but at least something edible. Ordered the the steak bites and there was only 5 pieces in it. The rest was fat and a shit load of black rubbery mushrooms. The vegetarian pizza wasn't cooked all the way, and was wet and doughy in the middle. The philly cheesesteak was half assed made with meat my dog wouldn't eat and cheese that wasn't melted. Nasty. Server was nice and we told her and she said I can get you a discount on your bill we said yes please. .... She came back and it was like maybe 10% , if that !! We had to pay 60 bucks for trash !! Big Al's is my FAV spot to watch any sports at. They have 2 TV rooms and a bar in the middle surrounded by TV's. Sometime they do charge for UFC fights but the ambience is perfect so I think it's worth it. I usually get the nachos and share because it's the best bang for your buck, but this time I was solo so I tried the new shrimp tacos which I know is bold but I will say they were pretty dang good. The service here is pretty consistent so if you're in the area def recommend this place for your next sports event. read more

Today was my first time going to Big Al's. They have an arcade next to the arcade they also have a bowling alley and then towards the back they also have a separate bowling alley with a more low-key date night vibe. Customer service was fantastic from the time that we came in. They were very helpful and explained how the prices worked. Once we got into our bowling lane a server came right up to us and was also very attentive the whole time from ordering to departure. The food was so good oh my gosh!! We ordered an appetizer platter. It had onion rings, mini mozzarella bites, chicken, wings, and fries. I would definitely recommend that specific order. We also went there on a Tuesday and they had a deal with most of their items were two dollars so we definitely got drinks lol. 4+ Not sure if this was a converted big box door because this place feels huge. It's kind of a combination of a bowling alley and the sports bar. Oh and I think there's a pretty sizable arcade here too. Pretty much almost something for everyone in terms of entertainment, haha. Came here to watch an NFL playoff game here recently with some old coworkers. We caught up over some wings, onion rings, and some beers. Pretty good selection of beer and spirits here. The food is bar food, but does it well. We didn't try the pizzas which seem to be very popular. The service was friendly here as well. All in all, a great place to watch sports or just meet up with friends. If you have a little ones, it's probably a good destination as well. In terms of parking, the lot where it's located is pretty huge so you shouldn't have any problems finding parking at all. read more

First time at Big Al's and we were really impressed! The place is huge, with plenty to do for both adults and kids. I loved being able to order drinks at the bar, keep a tab open, and still hang out with the kids in the play area -- super convenient. The only thing I would point out is that the play area could use a little more air conditioning; it ran warmer than the rest of the building. That said, the overall temperature inside was comfortably cool compared to the summer heat outside. After a couple hours we were completely exhausted (in the best way), but it was such a fun experience. Definitely a great spot for families and groups! They do not turn on the AC and they have a little fan blowing it is inhumane. On top of that it took 20 mins for a server to come pay the bill nobody would take my card. Went in for Week 1 of football and had such a great experience! The host, Dominic, went above and beyond to make sure my group had a good table. He even helped us with the games when we wanted to exchange our points for toys. Even though the store was closed, he still figured out a way to have someone assist us, which I really appreciated. Our server,Leah, was also an absolute professional. She made sure we always had food and drinks on the table and checked in often. To start with the positives- We ordered half and half flavor of the pub cauliflower and the buffalo flavor was great! I also really enjoyed the vegetarian pizza it was so cheesy and the veggies were perfectly grilled. As for the cons, the lemon pepper rub on the pub cauliflower wasn't my favorite. I think it didn't work too well together as a combination so best to stick with more saucy flavors. As for the burrito, my husband noted it was dry. I think they forgot the avocado cream sauce, and I thought it weird none of the burritos come with beans. He said the flavor was just ok. Other than that, we had a good time. I came to bowl with my family this past Sunday, early afternoon and we all agreed, we wouldn't return to bowl again. The galaxy AKA cosmic light setting seems to be permanent. There are huge projector screens at the end of the lanes and the food was definitely better than your typical alley food menu. The buffalo chicken dip was the best item out of everything we ordered which seemed just too pricey. As did the cost of bowling for two hours, on one lane. $120 to bowl plus $120 to eat, not including the tip. But I do think the location offers a-lot of entertainment, especially for children and families. But if you are looking to focus on bowling or even if you are just looking for more of an adult vibe and energy, it wouldn't be where I would go. Be careful to sanitize or bring your own Lysol. We went bowling, played arcade. Kids are homeschooled and it was our first outing in a week and a half due to rains. My daughter developed Hand, foot and mouth disease symptoms within 24 hours of our visit. Her fever started and the next morning, blisters on her hands feet and the roof of her mouth. She is 8. Not in the typical age range and it's out of season for the disease as it likes the months of June-August as it thrives in humidity. We celebrated our son's 10th birthday here and it was a great experience. Initially we had trouble booking the ocho lanes because of the holidays but Amanda was very helpful and booked us the lanes. When we arrive for the party, we had so much fun, the food was really good. We ordered pizzas and should definitely say they were awesome! It was our first time visiting Big Al's last Wednesday, and we had such a great experience. Our waitress, Gorgi, was incredibly sweet, humble, and welcoming. Ok Second time coming to Big Al's and it never has been a satisfying experience. Very nice establishment, but very poor service. Came last night to grab some food with my friend and it was pretty packed in the bar area. So we found a seat in the bar area and a man let us sit down and cleaned the table for us. However, after a few minutes of sitting down, an employee comes to us and says, "I'm sorry, but this seat is for people who are on a list and waiting." So we had to get up and then she sat us somewhere and our waitress was not attentive, and never came back after she gave us water. So we waited for 20 minutes she never came back. Then we noticed that a group of people who came after us and sat down, was being helped before us. I DISLIKE like that that was a turn off for me, so we decided to leave. Also, I do not like how it's just a cashless venue, being that it's a huge entertainment place with bowling, arcade, Etc. I will most likely not come back here! We recently were able to finally try out Big Al's. We always drove past it thinking it was a furniture store of some sort because of the name haha (i know. I know. Don't judge a book by it's covered but come on! The name does give it furniture vibes lol) Anyways- we looked up "arcade" and found this place to come to and took the kids here to try it out. For our first trip, we came on a Monday and realized it was margarita Mondays. You get chips and salsa with your drink and happy hour prices are reasonable too! We had two drinks each and both times, it was a good amount of alcohol in it. Usually happy hour drinks aren't good but this place, bartenders are actually trying to let you taste your drink so bonus! lol So definitely check out their happy hour! Plus Monday isn't that crowded or busy, so it was nice. For our second trip, we came on a Wednesday, and it was packed! Why was it packed? Well...we quickly learned it's because it's half off games all day! So that in itself was nice and allowed us to play more games and have our credits last longer for the kiddos! There are plenty of games to choose from and it's kid friendly, which is a plus! Prizes are pretty up there so we're trying to save all our tickets for the "good" prizes. Kids are working hard to save them! Quite a few coin packages to choose from to load up your card for games! We also noticed they have a restaurant and bowling alley in there. Big Al's was such a fun experience! I've seen various reviews but upon our visit it was actually really enjoyable. Large area with all the games on. Great options for food and drinks. Thought it did take a little while to receive food. Bowling lanes were full of people enjoying the game with their families. Arcade area looked like a good variety but we didn't play. Waited for the pool table to open and had a great time in the 21+ area. More exclusive and less crowded. Shuffle boards, basketball arcade hoops, ping pong tables, Velcro darts and pool. Lounge couches and high top long tables very spacious. Wonderful service! Will definitely be back to watch a game and enjoy some entertainment. Happy hour menu is weekdays from 3pm-6pm. Pool is $4 for half hour $8 for full hour and a 2 hour limit. (No longer free before 2pm) A little different type of table. Watch your step those corner legs are like a dining table. Some of the pockets need maintenance a few balls slipped out. Nonetheless a fun visit when you have the whole place to yourself. read more

Our first time (and probably last) to a Big Al's today 3/2 at 1pm. My kids and I opted to go with one hour of lane time. We were assigned to Lane 20. Lane 13-19 were full with people. There was clearly a female server assigned to this area. We sat with the green screen pictured waiting for a server for nearly 40 minutes. She was clearly making her rounds to the other nearby lanes and going to the bar to grab their drinks. She came and asked what I needed and I asked for a menu as we had never been there before. She said she would grab a menu, disappeared and never came back: Horrible follow up and service. That sealed the deal for me. I opted to go walk to the bar to order our food (which takes time out of my hour lane time to play with my kids) and expressed how disappointed I was. The female bartender Aneese (I for sure butchered the spelling but they have no name tags)...she was key in customer retention. She took my order and then offered to bring our drinks to our lane. She brought our drinks and then since our pizza was taking so long she sent out chips and salsa in the meantime to hold us over. When we got our food she came to check on us and she was just great. She was a bartender. Not a lane server and should be in charge of training the lane servers in customer service. Sadly we will not be back because lane service is no issue at Bowlero. I'm giving a poor rating for the overall experience with waiting for zero service and multiple lane issues. The bartender: She gets a 5 Star rating in my book and I tipped her accordingly (100% of the bill) but I feel management needs to see this and make some changes in terms of service/attentiveness. Looks like this is not a one-odd issue by the other reviews. You need lane servers that are hustlers and great at multi-tasking...and FRIENDLY. Our server that disappeared seemed bothered. read more

A little family outing on a Saturday night, lets go play some fun games and we can eat there too, easy. I was wrong on so many levels to think this as we headed to Big Al's. Normally I wouldn't even dream about talking about the quality of food at a place like this, but once the menu was looked at, I realized this isn't priced like snack bar food, this is priced higher than a lot of decent restaurants. Now there is an expectation! This review is not about our server, she took our order and everything came out with nothing missing, she had a great smile and attitude. This review is about the garbage they served us, the inability of a cowardly manager, CRAIG, to handle a situation, and the fact that I will tell everyone I know, and don't know, to never come here. You had your chance, CRAIG. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, Prime Time Steak Bites, and a Vegetarian Pizza. What we got was some bread with meat on it and American cheese slices laying on top, yup, not even melted, just laying there. In a little skillet we also received a soup with rubber balls, well, mushrooms actually that had soaked in whatever way too long and for safety reasons could not be eaten, and then 6 total "bites" of meat in which 4 were just cuts of fat. I am not kidding, they actually cut the fat into "bites", they genuinely put effort and energy into making these look like the steak bites. We also received some raw dough with veggies on top of it, I guess we are supposed to cook it ourselves, but we couldn't find the pizza oven, just like the people working in the kitchen. Now we are polite group, we quietly told the server all three plates are bad, she said she would get a manager to come over. This is where we should have met Craig, nope. Craig decided we were not good enough to speak to about our experience, and he sent a message back with our server for us, "I gave you a discount and have a Brookie desert on us". Let me get this straight, you are 3 for 3 fails on the menu already, and your saving grace is to give us something else from the kitchen as a way to make up for everything, from where ever you were hiding? You want to be a manager Craig, then put some effort into the what is being served to your guests, at flipping insane prices I should mention. If something goes wrong, in the hospitality world, you try to make it right, make us want to come back and try again. You served garbage and you made us pay for it. A steak blob sandwich, some bites plus a small wet dough veggie carrier, a Dr.Pepper and a Coors Light , along with our generous Craig discount, you know for not being able to eat any of the food, came to a total of $51.00. And we tipped our server, because she tried unlike Craig. Also, Craig, 3 of your 4 men's urinals are out of order in the restroom, but you probably know this if this was your hiding place. Oh, and we walked thru the Arcade but we did not play anything. Saddest arcade I have ever seen. 1 out of 10, I do not recommend, thanks Craig. read more
