I decided to give Big Al's another try 6 yrs later. My Children and I attended this time and we had a much more pleasant experience. We went bowling, bought snacks, shoe rental and spent an additional $132 on 4 game cards with convenience fee. Bowling was fun although we had to ask an attendant to remove the bumpers. They appeared to be on all lanes and was a very intense process to get them off. Also we had a wonderful snack attendant who served us initially when we got there. I did not catch her name but she had long braids and suggested a pitcher of soda for our family as a better value than 4 standard drinks. I do want to stress that this is a cashless business and I do not support digital only businesses. I purchased summer bowling passes for my teenagers for a killer deal but am concerned on how they will be able to purchase snacks if I'm not there with my credit card but I believe there's a machine that converts cash into card. I'm not certain if that's what I heard. They had a lot of fun games for all ages to play. Beware as per usual to most Arcades with the exception of D&B's in my opinion it's going to take several $100's if not $1000's of dollars to obtain a decent prize. Unless you win jackpots. My boy's plan to save their tickets until they can get Something they want. There were a-lot Of teenage congregant's as usual to any arcade. One group threw an empty game card at my shoulder and were laughing when I looked up. Nevertheless it was a fun time. read more

I've now been here twice to bowl, and unfortunately both experiences were frustrating enough that I won't be bowling here again. Both visits had the same issue: the group next to us had no sense of bowling etiquette, and it was never addressed by staff. Their parties were oversized and ended up spilling into our space sitting in our seats, placing drinks on our table, and generally taking over the shared area. On top of that, their kids repeatedly came over to our lane, touching our tablet and interfering with our game. It made it really hard to enjoy what we paid for. What made it worse is that both times, the groups next to us were visibly drunk. That kind of environment might be expected at a bar, but when it starts impacting other guests' experience especially families it becomes a problem. There didn't seem to be any staff intervention to manage the situation or maintain a respectful atmosphere. Another frustrating point was the check-in process. I brought my own Brunswick bowling shoes, but I was still told I had to rent a pair anyway. The employee even said I could "just do whatever with them," which honestly makes no sense and feels like an unnecessary charge. Policies like that don't feel customer-friendly. To be fair, Big Al's is a fun place overall. The arcade games and general hangout vibe are great, and I'd still come back for that. But the bowling experience itself just isn't worth it based on what I've experienced. There's definitely room for improvement staff should be more proactive about enforcing basic bowling etiquette, making sure groups stay within their assigned seating areas and respect neighboring lanes. Better monitoring, especially when alcohol is involved, could help prevent disruptive behavior. Clear limits on group sizes per lane, ensuring kids stay within their own lane, and revisiting the shoe rental policy for guests who bring their own equipment would all go a long way in improving the experience. There's definitely potential here, but the bowling side needs better structure and oversight. read more

This place was beyond gross. Like I wasn't expecting fine dining but at least something edible. Ordered the the steak bites and there was only 5 pieces in it. The rest was fat and a shit load of black rubbery mushrooms. The vegetarian pizza wasn't cooked all the way, and was wet and doughy in the middle. The philly cheesesteak was half assed made with meat my dog wouldn't eat and cheese that wasn't melted. Nasty. Server was nice and we told her and she said I can get you a discount on your bill we said yes please. .... She came back and it was like maybe 10% , if that !! We had to pay 60 bucks for trash !! Stopped by Big Al's to catch the Sunday afternoon football games. Location has games, bowling, big screens and a large seating area. Tons of parking and at 1pm on Sunday, a good amount of seating. We ordered the regular size nachos, with beef, Philly cheesesteak sandwich, a watermelon vodka lemonade and a Bloody Mary. Everything came out quickly and well made. The nachos were a bit spicy, perfect for me, a bit much for my BF. The nachos were great though because they put all the fixins on the side. I came in with my kids to watch the Brazil World Cup game. As I normally do when bringing my children, I purchased a $100 game card. I was under the clear understanding--based on all prior visits and how the promotion has always been presented to me--that this card provides 640 arcade points for the games, while the $100 value is applied toward food and drinks. After purchasing the card and while we were eating, my kids went to play on the arcade games. When I went to pay the bill, I was informed that only $1 remained on the card and that I owed an additional $93. Staff explained that the kids had used the funds from the card itself in the arcade. I was never told--either at the time of purchase or in any previous visit--that the $100 cash value on the card could be depleted by arcade play. The promotion is always communicated as delivering 640 arcade points with the $100 card. There was no signage, no verbal warning from staff, and nothing in writing explaining that the $100 balance would also be consumed by game play. This is misleading and confusing. If the $100 is being used for arcade games, what is the purpose of advertising the 640 points? This lack of transparency turned what should have been a straightforward and enjoyable family outing into a frustrating experience. The final bill came to approximately $170 (after the manager kindly credited one pizza). For a meal consisting of one pizza, three appetizers, three sodas, and three beers, this felt excessive, especially given the disappointment with the promotion. When I raised the issue with the manager on duty, I was told nothing further could be done and that I had to pay the balance. I value my relationship with Big Al's and have been a loyal customer for some time, but this incident has left me seriously questioning whether I should continue bringing my family and friends here. Big Al's is my FAV spot to watch any sports at. They have 2 TV rooms and a bar in the middle surrounded by TV's. Sometime they do charge for UFC fights but the ambience is perfect so I think it's worth it. I usually get the nachos and share because it's the best bang for your buck, but this time I was solo so I tried the new shrimp tacos which I know is bold but I will say they were pretty dang good. The service here is pretty consistent so if you're in the area def recommend this place for your next sports event. read more

4+ Not sure if this was a converted big box door because this place feels huge. It's kind of a combination of a bowling alley and the sports bar. Oh and I think there's a pretty sizable arcade here too. Pretty much almost something for everyone in terms of entertainment, haha. Came here to watch an NFL playoff game here recently with some old coworkers. We caught up over some wings, onion rings, and some beers. Pretty good selection of beer and spirits here. The food is bar food, but does it well. We didn't try the pizzas which seem to be very popular. The service was friendly here as well. All in all, a great place to watch sports or just meet up with friends. If you have a little ones, it's probably a good destination as well. In terms of parking, the lot where it's located is pretty huge so you shouldn't have any problems finding parking at all. read more

Today was my first time going to Big Al's. They have an arcade next to the arcade they also have a bowling alley and then towards the back they also have a separate bowling alley with a more low-key date night vibe. Customer service was fantastic from the time that we came in. They were very helpful and explained how the prices worked. Once we got into our bowling lane a server came right up to us and was also very attentive the whole time from ordering to departure. The food was so good oh my gosh!! We ordered an appetizer platter. It had onion rings, mini mozzarella bites, chicken, wings, and fries. I would definitely recommend that specific order. We also went there on a Tuesday and they had a deal with most of their items were two dollars so we definitely got drinks lol. First time at Big Al's and we were really impressed! The place is huge, with plenty to do for both adults and kids. I loved being able to order drinks at the bar, keep a tab open, and still hang out with the kids in the play area -- super convenient. The only thing I would point out is that the play area could use a little more air conditioning; it ran warmer than the rest of the building. That said, the overall temperature inside was comfortably cool compared to the summer heat outside. After a couple hours we were completely exhausted (in the best way), but it was such a fun experience. Definitely a great spot for families and groups! Went in for Week 1 of football and had such a great experience! The host, Dominic, went above and beyond to make sure my group had a good table. He even helped us with the games when we wanted to exchange our points for toys. Even though the store was closed, he still figured out a way to have someone assist us, which I really appreciated. Our server,Leah, was also an absolute professional. She made sure we always had food and drinks on the table and checked in often. Waitress ruined my son's birthday celebration! June 2026. My son is 11. Decided to have his friends, & our family for a Friday night out. Wanted to take advantage of their happy hour till 6pm. Worst service / experience I have ever had. Sandy a waitress was rude to our party. Came off aggressive, wasn't pleasant Immediately wouldn't take our next beer order - cause we ordered it too fast. We had over 30 people there all buying food, drinks, game cards - but still harsh rude aggressive loud poor service. Questioning each order of beer. Then before we even did cake brought the check and after - asking her to do it a certain way. She messed it up and was interrupting the basketball game/ conversations to figure out how to handle the bill. Asked for water, napkins. Didn't serve us. Basically cut us off and even told members if our party we couldn't order more. I was so embarrassed for my party. I see now why they weren't busy on a night showing the NBA final game. Poor management didn't help when approached. Definitely lost a few customers! Hope corporate reads this and understands why customers don't come back. They do not turn on the AC and they have a little fan blowing it is inhumane. On top of that it took 20 mins for a server to come pay the bill nobody would take my card. Came by to watch the Rams game with the hubby and had a fun time. Drinks were good and well priced. We ordered the cauliflower bites, vegetarian pizza, and the west coaster burrito. To start with the positives- We ordered half and half flavor of the pub cauliflower and the buffalo flavor was great! I also really enjoyed the vegetarian pizza it was so cheesy and the veggies were perfectly grilled. As for the cons, the lemon pepper rub on the pub cauliflower wasn't my favorite. I think it didn't work too well together as a combination so best to stick with more saucy flavors. As for the burrito, my husband noted it was dry. I think they forgot the avocado cream sauce, and I thought it weird none of the burritos come with beans. He said the flavor was just ok. Other than that, we had a good time. I came to bowl with my family this past Sunday, early afternoon and we all agreed, we wouldn't return to bowl again. The galaxy AKA cosmic light setting seems to be permanent. There are huge projector screens at the end of the lanes and the food was definitely better than your typical alley food menu. The buffalo chicken dip was the best item out of everything we ordered which seemed just too pricey. As did the cost of bowling for two hours, on one lane. $120 to bowl plus $120 to eat, not including the tip. But I do think the location offers a-lot of entertainment, especially for children and families. But if you are looking to focus on bowling or even if you are just looking for more of an adult vibe and energy, it wouldn't be where I would go. Be careful to sanitize or bring your own Lysol. We went bowling, played arcade. Kids are homeschooled and it was our first outing in a week and a half due to rains. My daughter developed Hand, foot and mouth disease symptoms within 24 hours of our visit. Her fever started and the next morning, blisters on her hands feet and the roof of her mouth. She is 8. Not in the typical age range and it's out of season for the disease as it likes the months of June-August as it thrives in humidity. The staff clearly doesn't clean their equipment/machines properly or regularly. 2/15/2024 Poor baby girl is in pain. No cure. Headed to Big Al's today to watch the World Cup Mexico game and our waiter was Nemo. Nemo provided outstanding service during a very busy time at Big Al's . Despite how crowded it was, he remained kind, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. He checked on us regularly, made sure we had everything we needed, and maintained a positive attitude the entire time. It's clear that he genuinely cares about providing great customer service. Thank you, Nemo, for making our experience so enjoyable! After Nemo left our table was taken over by waitress named Sandy. Sad to say I can't say the same for her she was rude loud and over charged us. Also stated you been checked out knowing she had over charged us. When trying to explain to her she overcharged us she refused to listen and walked away stated the manager is coming. Manager came and refunded what she overcharged. Ok Second time coming to Big Al's and it never has been a satisfying experience. Very nice establishment, but very poor service. Came last night to grab some food with my friend and it was pretty packed in the bar area. So we found a seat in the bar area and a man let us sit down and cleaned the table for us. However, after a few minutes of sitting down, an employee comes to us and says, "I'm sorry, but this seat is for people who are on a list and waiting." So we had to get up and then she sat us somewhere and our waitress was not attentive, and never came back after she gave us water. So we waited for 20 minutes she never came back. Then we noticed that a group of people who came after us and sat down, was being helped before us. I DISLIKE like that that was a turn off for me, so we decided to leave. Also, I do not like how it's just a cashless venue, being that it's a huge entertainment place with bowling, arcade, Etc. I will most likely not come back here! We recently were able to finally try out Big Al's. We always drove past it thinking it was a furniture store of some sort because of the name haha (i know. I know. Don't judge a book by it's covered but come on! The name does give it furniture vibes lol) Anyways- we looked up "arcade" and found this place to come to and took the kids here to try it out. For our first trip, we came on a Monday and realized it was margarita Mondays. You get chips and salsa with your drink and happy hour prices are reasonable too! We had two drinks each and both times, it was a good amount of alcohol in it. Usually happy hour drinks aren't good but this place, bartenders are actually trying to let you taste your drink so bonus! lol So definitely check out their happy hour! Plus Monday isn't that crowded or busy, so it was nice. For our second trip, we came on a Wednesday, and it was packed! Why was it packed? Well...we quickly learned it's because it's half off games all day! So that in itself was nice and allowed us to play more games and have our credits last longer for the kiddos! There are plenty of games to choose from and it's kid friendly, which is a plus! Prizes are pretty up there so we're trying to save all our tickets for the "good" prizes. Kids are working hard to save them! Quite a few coin packages to choose from to load up your card for games! We also noticed they have a restaurant and bowling alley in there. Thought it did take a little while to receive food. Bowling lanes were full of people enjoying the game with their families. Arcade area looked like a good variety but we didn't play. Waited for the pool table to open and had a great time in the 21+ area. More exclusive and less crowded. Shuffle boards, basketball arcade hoops, ping pong tables, Velcro darts and pool. Lounge couches and high top long tables very spacious. Wonderful service! Will definitely be back to watch a game and enjoy some entertainment. Happy hour menu is weekdays from 3pm-6pm. Pool is $4 for half hour $8 for full hour and a 2 hour limit. (No longer free before 2pm) A little different type of table. Watch your step those corner legs are like a dining table. Some of the pockets need maintenance a few balls slipped out. Nonetheless a fun visit when you have the whole place to yourself. read more

We celebrated our son's 10th birthday here and it was a great experience. Initially we had trouble booking the ocho lanes because of the holidays but Amanda was very helpful and booked us the lanes. When we arrive for the party, we had so much fun, the food was really good. We ordered pizzas and should definitely say they were awesome! It was our first time visiting Big Al's last Wednesday, and we had such a great experience. Our waitress, Gorgi, was incredibly sweet, humble, and welcoming. She was very attentive and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The happy hour food was delicious and very fulfilling, which made the experience even better.
